IMO he should of went to the hospital with her. If I was him I would be over there with her not on the bench whining about it. Wayne Gretzky did play the rest of the game. | Fun

The game was delayed with just over six minutes to play when New
York's Ulf Samuelsson and Chicago's Sergei Krivokrasov collided
along the boards, forcing a pane of glass into the first row of
seats. The glass fell on Gretzky's wife, Janet, apparently
leaving her momentarily unconscious. Janet Gretzky was carried
off on a stretcher and taken to St Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital in
New York.
A hospital spokesman said she suffered a mild concussion and a
laceration on her lower lip. Janet Gretzky will remain
hospitalized overnight for observation, although tests and
X-rays were normal.
"One of the plates of glass came down," said Samuelsson. "The
glass just gave in. I didn't initially see her. She got hit
pretty hard. I tried to see whether I could help, but the
doctors got there pretty quickly. She had a lot of help." | Reply |
