Players mill about near the Calgary net after a stoppage in play. Bill Muckalt starts mixing it up with veteran Phil Housley. Hnat Domenichelli comes in to help out. He gets more then he bargained for as they begin to fight. Muckalt misses with a left as Domenichelli avoids it. He goes to the ice and Muckalt throws a right. Muckalt has the right cocked and Domenichelli is basically just covering up now. The linesmen separate them.
Decisive win for Muckalt as Domenichelli was covering up and needed to be rescued. |

| Muckalt and Housley starts roughing it up behind the Calgary net during a stoppage in play. Domenichelli comes in to defend his teammate. Muckalt throws one left to the side of Domenichellis head then Hnat just turtles and Muckalt throws a right when he's down on the ice. |

Brad May and Todd Simpson meet up behind the net. They begin talking and it looks as if a fight might break out. May is determined to fight whether Simpson wants to or not. He throws his gloves off and catches Simpson with a right hand flush on the jaw. Simpson was not expecting it and was taken off guard. He goes down and covers up with May standing over him. Simpson's nose is bloodied and May gets tossed.
