Ole-Kristian Tollefsen win by TKO Fun

Hard to see the fight, because no camera coverage for most of it. I'd say TKO though, judging by the far angle as compared to the overhead shot at the end of the fight. From what I could tell and gathered form the limited footage. Lupul and Tollefson were trading after the fight, and then Lupul got dropped. Some might say turtled, but the postion he fell to didn't make it look like he turtled. Very hard to call this fight, but I say TKO until a better angle or a live attendee say differently.

The clip is short because the camera cuts slowly away from a promo but from the long range view Lupul eats a big right and goes down. Tollefsen misses one as Lupul is falling. TKO win for Tollefsen.

Bad coverage of this fight by the Columbus crew. They were doing a promo for upcoming games and the fight randomly broke out after the play, and it took them forever to get there. By the time they did, Lupul was falling as Tollefsen threw a punch, fight over. So it's hard to tell what happened from their feed.Reply

I hate when that happens especially when there's a scrum behind the net after a goalie covered it, and there's punches being thrown, and then out a nowhere it goes quickly to the Goalie Net Camera, and by the time they go back everything was okay.Reply

Once again the coverage of this fight was poor. Svitov bodies Smid hard into the boards and apparently hurts him. Thoresen stands up for his teammate but the first 5 seconds of the fight are off camera because the focus is on Smid lying on the ice. When the camera cuts over, Svitov lands a short punch to Thoresen's head. Thoresen is bent over and Svitov has a headlock on him and nothing really happens until the linesmen are about to move him. Svitov appears to miss an uppercut but connects with an overhand right before the officials can stop it. Svitov did all the throwing on the clip. Thoresen seemed content to make a statement about the hit by confronting Svitov. If he threw anything, it was in the early going, off camera. Based on the clip, Svitov landed of 2 of 4 attempts and was the more aggressive puncher here getting a clear win.

Horrible showing by Thoreson. When the fight started, the camera stayed on Smid who was on the ice, so I didn't get to see the start. But when the camera gets there, Thoreson is digging his head under Svitov's arm but turning his head the other way. Svitov trying to hit him but Thoreson's fighting strategy was quite laughable.

Svitov has Thorsen in a head lock for most of the fight. At the end Svitov lets Thorsen out of the head lock and lands 2-3 good punches.

Svitov smashed Smid face first into the boards and laid him out. Thoresen came over to take him on, but in reality he seems to want no part of this fight, instead just tucking his head under Svitov's left arm so he can't be hit as Svitov tries to pull his right arm free. He succeeds for the most part until the end of the fight, when Svitov throws a few rights to the head as the linesmen start to come in.

Svitov hits one of the Oilers into the boards head first and the Oilers imemadiately go after him. Thoresen is the one who takes him on. Thoresen is in an awkward position from the start, disabling him form throwin any punches. Despite this, Svitov neglects to throw any punches until the refs have a hold of Thoresen. Crap fight.

I guess the video I have is too late because all I see are two guy's tied up...Svitov does land a few once the refs come in to separate and he looked like he was wanting to go.

I just recently saw a short clip of the very beggining of the fight that the cameras didn't see.
Svitov hits Smid from behind. Thoresen immediatly jumps in and lands 2 good shots and comes up short on one. Svitov then comes back and lands a few but nothing significant before the refs come in. Draw.

My mistake, the extra two minutes was for instigating with a visor, not roughing.Reply

This was the first time two Norweigans (Patrick Thoresen and Ole-Kristian Tollefsen) played against each other in an NHL game and they both got in fights.Reply
