Walker gets knocked to the ice in the Boston zone on a possible trip or hook by Alberts. He gets up and approaches Alberts, without his helmet, and says "let's go." Walker unleashes rights like an automatic punching machine. He misses a few early but lands some solid direct hits under Alberts' half shield. Alberts does alright in the beginning. His tosses are fewer and thrown more deliberately but he throws 3 very hard rights to Walker's face. Still unfazed by the hard hits, Walker continues the onslaught. He rocks Alberts with 2 more heavy blows, the second sending Alberts' helmet airborne. Walker delivers a solid uppercut and starts to take over the fight. Alberts has his jersey over his eyes and misses Walker with his return punches. Walker lands a couple more but falls off balance to the ice. Alberts stands over him and tries to land a few punches while Walker is down but is unsuccessful with the jersey still covering his head. Walker gets up and swings again but is controlled by a linesman before he can land any more. This was a very entertaining scrap. Alberts hung in there well early but Walker was able to land many more punches and take control. Clear win for Walker.

Walker didn't appreciate a hit Alberts put on him, so he challenges him and they drop the gloves. Walker starts off landing some decent rights, then Alberts lands a bomb on the chin. Unfortunately for him, Scott Walker must be a robot, because he absorbs the shot like it's nothing and returns fire with a big right of his own. Alberts misses a right and they exchange, with Alberts actually getting a few more big rights in, but once again, he can't hurt Walker, who continues throwing and nails him with more big rights, sending the helmet flying. Walker jerseys Alberts and continues firing away, although the punches have a little less steam on them at this point. Eventually Alberts ragdolled Walker to the ice, and then decides to try and punch him a few times while he's down. Walker stands back up and throws a few more in retaliation.

Good bout with action the whole way, Alberts landed some good shots at the beginning but took many more. He was already nursing an injured face after taking a slapshot to the noggin a little while ago, and I can't imagine he'll be feeling any better now. I give him credit though, he doesn't win any fights but he steps up to the plate when challenged.

Walker clearly wanted this one as he started throwing first, Alberts got a few in but Walker got some real hard ones in, the best sending Alberts helmet flying. The jersey came up over Alberts head and Walker hit him with a few, then the linesmen came in.

The whistle goes and Scott Walker mixes it up with Andrew Alberts and a fight soon develops. Walker drops his first and throws a right which doesn't connect, then Alberts drops his. The fight is dominated by Walker who throws almost constantly from beginning to end and keeps up a steady rate of right hands as Alberts tries throwing back but is far less active. Alberts doesn't do that badly early on for a while, though Walker has the upper hand, but then Walker stuns Alberts and shortly afterwards, sends his helmet and visor flying (he was wearing due to an eye injury he had suffered). After that, Alberts' becomes jerseyed and is less active than before as Walker takes control of the fight until he throws himself off balance and to the ice with his swinging. Alberts throws two rights at the downed Walker, but blinded by his jersey, doesn't land either of them. The linesmen are in afterwards and they break it up right there. Overall, Walker threw twenty-eight rights as Alberts threw eleven rights of his own. Walker landed thirteen of his punches with three of them connecting heavily. Alberts landed four and had one connect hard. Definite win for Walker, no question about it. Though he gave up size to Alberts, Walker was in control of the fight and took it over in the later stages. Great tussle. Obvious win for Walker.

There was a lot of action in front of the net and Walker and Alberts went at it. Both combatants got in some solid punches, but Walker did indeed land more than Alberts.

A pretty good fight. It started when Alberts and Walker went knee to knee. Walker gets up and goes straight for Alberts. Walker threw about a dozen more punches and landed several more against Alberts.

No problem Monarch. That's the great thing about VCR or DVR. Immediate reviewability. Damn me for accidentally changing the channel so I have to wait to see it again. :(Reply
