| There's a scrum along the sideboards in the neutral zone in front of the benches. Boulerice and Erskine comes out of the pile with Boulerice tossing a right that appears to land. Erskine loses his helmet and looks to take a grazing shot from Boulerice before mounting a counterattack. Erskine tosses some big rights, landing to the side of the helmet with one as Boulerice nearly stumbles to a knee but rights himself. Boulerice lands a glancing blow to the back of Erskine's head but Erskine is not deterred and moves Boulerice back toward the boards as he continues to throws big rights. Boulerice ducks some of the blows but starts to stumble again, taking another right to the head as he's falling. Erskine goes down on top. Clear win for Erskine. Boulerice was already falling when he took a hard punch so this can't really be called a TKO. Erskine took a few early but rallied aggressively and took the fight to Boulerice. Several shots hit helmet but it looked as if a couple of solid blows got through. |

There is a scrum near the benches at the end of the game and Jesse Boulerice pairs off with John Erskine. They get a hold as each of them connects with a swing. Boulerice loses his balance for a moment, what gives Erskine the opportunity to score a couple more wild rights. Jesse connects once with the bucket but Erskine responds with two blows and pushes him to the boards. They both continue throwing wild swings with Erskine doing this much better. He scores about two shots to Jesse's one. Boulerice tries to avoid the punches and steps back but the linesman appears behind him as he hits the deck. Erskine throws one more right and falls on top of Boulerice, so the referees break it up.
Good fight with some wild rights by both guys. Erskine controlled the fight and landed much more shots. Clear win Erskine. |

| the referee got in Boulerice's way as he back up to get away from Erskine's punches and thats why he went down...Boulerice held his own until that point and the refs needed to jump in as he went down. |
