Its a vipers powerplay....Bracknell win the face off and JP Soucy has the puck, he goes to fire it down the ice and it hits Paul Ferone in the head.
Ferone isnt happy and complains to the officials, all of a sudden Ferone goes after Soucy chasing him down the ice a little. Ferone drops the gloves as skating, Soucy dropping them as Ferone is coming to him, Ferone grabs on and throws fast punches. Soucy uses most his energy trying to block and after a short amount of time both the players are tired.
The keep hold and skate around a little, the eventually end up with Soucy against the boards. Soucy takes off Ferones helment whilst they are holding, out of no where Soucy throws a punch hitting Ferone directly on the jaw. Then from there Ferone throws a few but Soucy blocks them.
A lino has an arm between them and they keep talking on. Soucy says something and Ferone's reply is a headbutt straight into the mouth of Soucy. He grabs his mouth and tries to break free.
Ferone has a little blood on his head after this.
A Decisive win for Ferone as he was throwing all the punches....but to be fair Soucy never really seemed to want to fight.
I think Ferone received a 6 game ban for the headbutt. |

DISCIPLINARY NOTIFICATION
PAUL FERONE
Please be advised that the BNIHL Disciplinary Panel, after viewing video evidence and Officials' reports, have made the following decision.
The above player shall be suspended from playing for a period of 3 (Three) games from Sunday 19th October 2003. The three games have been awarded due to Mr. Ferone achieving 2 (two) match penalties (528 fisticuffs and 529 Head-Butting) in the game on the 11th October 2003 against the Bracknell Bees. A further 1 (one) game suspension for the head butt has been handed down by the Disciplinary Committee.

This fight happened as the incident with Paul Ferone and JP Soucy was taking place. Trumbley skated off the bench and onto the ice as the Captain of the Newcastle Vipers team. Trumbley randomly dropped the gloves and threw a few punches into Rempel's face. Rempel dropped his gloves and grabbed on, he just unleashed with punch after punch, dominating trumbley. The referee split this one up with some difficulty.
Whilst in the penalty box Trumbley was not happy and threw a water bottle at the plexi glass seperating the boxes. Trumbley received a game penalty for it.
