It's all Bosse, quickly over, as Belanger doesn't drop the gloves and turtles right away. It does appear unfair, but where is the option to call it that way?...

Mayrand slashes then high sticks Leroux, so Leroux pushes Mayrand to the ice and drops his gloves and grabs Mayrand and lands about 3 punches before everyone jumps in.

Well, you see Leroux pushing Mayrand to the ice, the Mission player trying to shield himself with his left arm while getting back up, then Leroux throws a few rights and Mayrand doesn't have time to respond before other players join the dance. You can be sure the Machine will get back at Leroux before this series' over.

This is unfair too as Leroux lands a few then everyone piles in. Unfair because of interference by other players.

Steve Bosse clear win Fun
5
After a very long squareoff, Bosse starts pummeling Labelle with body shots. He landed about 25-30 body shots before Labelle even threw his first punch, which missed. Labelle went on to miss 2 more before connecting with a solid right. Bosse threw 2 lefts that missed and Labelle threw 2 rights that missed. Bosse went back to the body shots after a while but the refs stepped in.

About 20 body shots from Bosse, combined with a couple of solid rights every time Labelle dared to look up at Bosse, then late in the fight Labelle managed to land a few solid rights of his own, but he wasn't busy enough in this brawl and he took way too long to get started, being obviously 'careful' knowing who he was facing...

Out of the mini-brawl, these two are throwing. Mirasty starts off good but Joly doesnt really look interested. When Mirasty keeps hitting him, Joly starts throwing. They go toe-to-toe when Joly lands a huge right that drops Mirasty.

Mario Joly win by TKO Fun

It started as a scrap between Mirasty and Cote, but Joly basically got in front of Cote while Nasty was already busy throwing at Cote over the linesman's left arm. Mirasty got a few shots in early, Joly didn't throw much. Then it looked like they were both out of breath, Nasty trying a little harder, but then Joly unleashes some bombs, the last one being an uppercut while Mirasty was already slipping. Not all sure it's a TKO, but Joly connected big enough at the end.

Mayrand drops the gloves, and gets Lefebvre down in a turtling position. This prompts a few Chiefs to grab on to Mayrand and pull him down. Lefebvre gets up and starts hammering away on Mayrand, who is being held by players and linesman.

A huge scrum is going on and Raby wants to fight Moriarty but the refs dont let them. Moriarty throws his helmet at Raby so Raby gets mad and tries to get loose. The ref was holding on to him for dear life. Over to the side Bosse and Tardiff are on the ice wrestling with Bosse on top. Cote wasn't really doing anything, just skating around. Fun

After the face-off, Cote starts shaking his gloves at the Mission center, but Moriarity gets in Cote's face, so they go at it. Cote connects early with a right, then throws several lefts that find the mark. They each land once with the right, Moriarity seems to have a tighter hold on Cote's jersey, but then Cote takes him down with a left to the back of the head.

Steve Bosse win by KO Fun
8
Round number eight, between these two LNAH heavyweights.

This is the eighth time these two have fought over two seasons, Bosse has put Mirasty to the ice in four of their previous meetings. He also KO'ed Mirasty badly in two of their previous fights.

Bosse was the aggressor in this fight, Bosse bumps into Mirasty and grabs him. Mirasty gives Bosse a little glove punch, Bosse then lands a big glove punch that stuns Mirasty. Bosse then throws ten more right hands at Mirasty, Mirasty throws a right hand back but gets caught with a 'BOMB' of a right hand and is knock spark out. Bosse lands another two punches as Mirasty falls backwards to the ice, Bosse skates off celebrating while Mirasty is still out on his back.

This is the eighth time they have fought and Bosse dominated most of the fights, but this one was his most convincing win of them all. This was to be their last fight between the two guys, as Mirasty went onto a different league and eventual had a few games in the NHL preseason in 2008/09. Bosse done another season in the LNAH, before turning his attention to the M.M.A fighting. Mirasty is now playing in the AHL.

KO win Bosse.

i agree with chlfan that it was cheap of bosse to not take his helmet off.he took it off after mirasty was out .not that it would have affected the outcome ,because the outcome was the same as all their previous fights just kinda cheap to wait til your opponet is outcold to take your visor off.

To respond to CHL's comment about Bosse, they both had their helmet on when they started the fight. It seems that Mirasty had been egging Bosse on all throughout the game, starting with the pre-game warmup (usually the case with these two), and with the win secured for St.Jean, the time was right for Steve to go nuclear one more time on Mirasty's chin!

One other interesting fact is that the game took place in Laval, at the Auditorium where the Chiefs used to play before they moved to St. Jean. Back then, the place was known as the 'House of Pain'. Sweet!
