Gainey and Stastny collided near the boards, where they both are fighting for the puck. Stastny grips Gainey from behind and they both exchange few shoves. Nothing much here. Fun

Chris Nilan clear win Fun

After a whistle and away from the puck they both drop the gloves. Price starts strong with throwing couple of right shots, but all of them missing. Then they both start to struggle for better position. Finally Nilan comes alive with throwing couple shots with maybe one of them connected. Price wants to tie him up, but Nilan still wants to go and carries out a wild uppercut and few rights till Price went down. Price is down on ice, but Nilan still throws one punch at the end till refs separates them.

SP, Can you update the punch count on this one. Price threw at least five or six punches early in the fight.Reply

It all starts, when Bobby Smith scores a sharp angle goal. Quebec players though that net was off his moarings, so they start to argue with refs. Canadiens of course defends their achievment.
From benches comes more players, about 7 from each team. A lot pushing and shoving, but nothing develops much.

This was the only fight in the scrum.
Rooney and Mann both unexpectedly droped the gloves. Rooney throws some 3 short rights and Mann started to wrestle him down to the ice.

Chris Nilan win by TKO
Fight called Unfair by SarcasticPillow on May 3, 2016
Reason: Dale Hunter was jumped and could never fight back
 Fun

Dale Hunter decks Chris Chelios into the net despite Chelios not having the guy and when Guy Carbonneau comes in to take exception, Hunter gets his stick up high, almost butt-ending Carbonneau with the move. A big crowd forms around Hunter as both Chelios and Chris Nilan get after him. Nilan drops the gloves while Chelios grabs Hunter around the head, pulling it down. Bruce Bell grabs Chelios from behind and pulls him away. Hunter gets his head up and looks to get back at Chelios, failing to notice Nilan. Nilan throws two rights, landing one to the face that drops Hunter as a linesman is trying to pull Hunter out of the fray. The linesman grabs Nilan then and gets him off of Hunter, who's covering up and bloodied on the ice. A TKO win for Nilan but this was clearly an unfair fight. Hunter was focused on Chelios and not looking when he got rocked by Nilan.

Dale Hunter nailed Chris Chelios with a shoulder-to-shoulder hit. The blow occurred as the whistle blew and Chelios had relaxed his body. Chris tumbled right into the Montreal goal. There was a heated scrum in the aftermath. Hunter and Chelios tried to fight. Bruce Bell took Chris out of the way. Nilan came up to the side of Hunter and decked him with a big right hand. Hunter's head was turned towards Chelios and he never saw the punch coming.

This was a TKO for Nilan. The fight is rightly considered to be unfair as Hunter never saw the incoming blow. Dale was shaken up and bloodied a bit in the aftermath.

Hunter puts a hard check on Chelios from behind, as he entered Canadiens defensive zone. Immediately few Habs players goes after Hunter, but Nilan of course gets there first. Nilan droped the gloves and throwed one punch at Hunter, who at the same time fell down.

Right from the faceoff they both start to wrestle. No punches were throwed and they both fell down.
