Jesse Boulerice win by TKO Fun
7
There's a faceoff in the Jersey zone. Boulerice and Janssen come together after the drop and shed the gloves. They get in close intially with Boulerice tossing rights and landing one to the body. Janssen is preoccupied with removing Boulerice's helmet. He's able to finally pull if off at about the same time as his own bucket is punched off by a Boulerice right. They spin in a circle, Boulerice misses some rights and lands a left jersey jab. Janssen tosses a big overhand right that misses. Boulerice responds with some overhand rights to the back. Janssen get bent over and takes a hard right to the back of the head. Boulerice follows with a big left uppercut to the face that drops Janssen to his knees and misses a final left as he falls to the ice with him.

TKO win for Boulerice. He appeared to land 8 of 12 punches and Janssen only threw one before the big punch that ended the scrap. Janssen was no doubt hoping to let Boulerice wear himself out but he never got the chance to come back in this one. Nice finishing punch by Boulerice.

Jesse Boulerice and Cam Janssen go at it right of the faceoff. They get in tight as Boulerice throws some rights landing one to the helmet. Janssen tries to avoid the punch but instead of this takes it and loses the bucket. Jesse's helmet flies away as well but that doesn't change anything as Boulerice lands two big overhand rights while Janssen falls short with one blow. He takes three more shots and gets the jersey over his head. Boulerice switches hands while Janssen battles with his own sweater and lands a left that sends Janssen to the ice.

Good scrap. Janssen just took beating in this one. TKO win Boulerice 'cause it looks like his last punch was the main reason why Janssen went to the ice.

They are spinning around and Boulerice is landing the better punches, Janssen gets his jersey tangled up over his head and Boulerice ends the fight with a left uppercut, Janssen didn't drop in knockout fashion but he dropped to his knees from the result of the punch so I scored it a TKO

These two go right off the faceoff and grab on right away Boulerice throws a couple rights that hit the side of Janssen's helmet. Boulerice gets in a good right that knocks off Janssen's helmet, and Janssen gets off Boulerice's helmet as well. Boulerice misses a big right, and Janssen grazes him with a right. They spin around and Boulerice lands a good right and an uppercut making Janssen duck down. Boulerice fires a right hitting Janssen on the top of the head, and gets the jersey over his face. Boulerice then switches to his left hand, and fires a big left uppercut which cracks Janssen hard, and makes him go down.

They go right off a faceoff, and they immediately grab hold of each other. Boulerice misses with a right, and another, and then connects with a right that takes Janssen's lid off. Boulerice's helmet also comes off as he's landing another right hand. They get some distance between them, and Boulerice lands a right, then misses with another, and Janssen misses a wild right over the top. Another right comes up short from Boulerice. Camera gets a bit shaky, but it looks like Boulerice throws an uppercut, and gets Janssen's jersey over his head. Boulerice throws two big rights over the top, landing one solidly. Boulerice then lands a huge left hand that stumbles Janssen. It looks to me like their skates came together, causing the fall. Still, a nice win for Boulerice.

Janssen wanted to tire out Boulerice and avoid Boulerice's punches. But after taking a couple hard right hands Janssen decided to get his arm loose and throw some punches. Well he was unsuccessful as Boulerice got Janssen with a series of right hands than a left uppercut that floored Janssen.

TKO win for Boulerice, a very very impressive showing.

Jesse Boulerice vs Cam Janssen / Sep 17, 2007

The camera gets fixed on these two who already have the gloves down and are grabbed on, Boulerice throws the first punch landing a straight right to the side of Janssen's head. Boulerice then threw a right cross at Janssen that fell short and Janssen quickly threw a right back at Boulerice that looked to connect. They hold on for a bit longer and Boulerice starts to get his right going again.

Boulerice landed several good punches on Janssen and the officials began to come in behind them, Janssen then went down after taking an uppercut from Boulerice and the officials rushed in. Boulerice then got to his feet and skated round victorious before making his way to the box, Boulerice comes out of this one with a TKO win after landing some good shots and eventually knocking Janssen down.

TKO win Boulerice.

Jesse Boulerice and Cam Janssen are lined up with each other for a faceoff and they drop the gloves as play begins. They clutch onto each other and Boulerice misses two rights, then pauses. Boulerice lands a right which knocks Janssen's helmet off and then Boulerice misses a follow up right. They pause and Boulerice misses a right with Janssen missing a right after. Janssen's jersey then comes up over his head and Boulerice throws six rights then, landing three. Janssen then tries to pull the jersey off but Boulerice switches hands and throws two lefts, landing one that knocks Janssen off his feet and to the ice. The linesmen then come in and break it up. TKO win Boulerie in a decent heavyweight fight.

They go off the draw. They tangle and boulerice starts here. He throws a bunch of rights that land. then Boulerice gets Janssens jersey over his head then throws like 3 or 4 to the back of his head then switched to his left throwing an uppercut that took Janssen of his feet and down to the ice. TKO Boulerice, Janssen didnt even throw brarely any punches.

This battle takes place in front of the Philly net. Smith throws a right hand that knocks his elbow pad off, but it lands. Clarkson quickly retaliates with two quick rights that just miss, and a very solid uppercut. Clarkson comes up short with another right as they get some distance, and Smith lands a huge right hand that snaps Clarkson's head back. At the same time Clarkson fires a right hand that just comes up short. He follows with three more right hands, landing two of them. They exchange misses as they start grappling for position. As they are wearing down, Smith throws a right that doesn't land, and Clarkson also misses, and then the refs get in.

Tough one to judge, Smith lands the best punch, but Clarkson is more active and lands more. I'm going with a draw.

David Clarkson narrow win Fun

Smith and Clarkson are already tossing punches just to the right of the Flyer goal as the clip begins. Both are throwing rights. Smith misses over the top and Clarkson lands several blows mixing in overhands and uppercuts to the head and body. Smith lands an awesome punch to the chin but Clarkson takes it well and keeps firing away as if nothing happened. He tosses the next four punches and they move toward the boards. The video gets real shaky here but they quickly move away from the glass and exchange some rights, each appearing to land a grazing punch or two before the men in stripes intervene.

Narrow win for Clarkson in a fairly entertaining tussle. Smith looked to land 3 of 6 punches with one big blow. Clarkson was the busier fighter however and I had him connecting on 9 of 11. There was little defense in this one.

alright I was quickly adding players to rosters and wasnt sure if this is the right Smith...the one I picked has only played 1 pro season in the AHL for Lowell...the only other it could be is the NHL Veteran who has played the last 5-7 seasons with Edmonton, wasnt sure which it was but figured it was the rookie...hopefully someone can figure it out.Reply

Riley Cote win by TKO Fun
7
Asham and Cote bump in the Jersey zone and as play moves through center ice, the two skate side by side and then stop to drop the gloves and square off. Asham wades in first, grabbing Cote's sweater and landing a right to the helmet. Cote connects to the face with a solid left that puts Asham on his heels. He misses a followup left while Asham misses a right. Cote takes a few to the helmet and lands a glancing left to the head and then a better blow to the face that drops Asham to his seat. Cote leans over him from a standing position as the officials move in.

TKO win for Cote. The home video is not alway definitive and the persepctive makes it difficult to be 100% sure but it certainly looked like Asham went down from a punch.

They bump in the New Jersey end, and as they are skating towards center ice they start chatting and decide to go. They have a long square off, and Asham finally throws a punch, missing a short right. Asham then lands a solid right, with Cote responding with a right of his own that staggers Asham a bit. Cote quickly switches to the left hand, landing one of two. Asham then connects with a right hand. Cote powers Asham back, throwing four quick punches, the last stumbling Asham, and he goes down, allowing the refs to get in.

Riley Cote vs. Arron Asham / Sep 17, 2007

These two dropped the gloves and squared off at centre ice, Asham made the first move throwing a right at Cote that looked to graze Cote's face. Cote then connected with a big left that rocked Asham, Asham took it well and fired a straight right back at Cote. Cote then landed a short left which set him up for a flurry of hard punches in which three landed.

Asham's helmet came flying off and Cote landed one last left that knocked Asham off balance and to the ice, Cote got to his feet and skated to the box followed by Asham who had a smile on his face. I think round two between these two later this year.

TKO win Cote.

Asham misses a right and Cote opens up with two landing lefts, one of them catching Asham. Asham meanwhile, misses a right while backing up. Asham throws four rights then, landing as Cote starts throwing lefts. Cote throws three lefts and lands two, one of them knocking Asham off balance and another sending him to the ice. The linesmen then come in and break it up. TKO win Cote in a decent scrap with Asham.

Not a great video on this but they square off near what looks to be close to center ice. A nice exchange with the thrown and land count pretty even. Riley kind of gets his left free and looks to tag Asham pretty good. Nothing too devistating but and effective knockdown none the less. Score one for ol' Riley.

There's a faceoff in the Philadelphia zone. Eager and Rupp have apparently prearranged their scrap. The puck drops, the gloves drop and the players move to an open area to square off. Eager moves in close on the grab and Rupp lands four rights to the back and two more to the back of the head, knocking Eager's helmet off. Eager straightens up and appears to narrowly avoid a right and then a left from Rupp. An overhand left by Rupp misses badly and he loses his balance and falls to his knees. He tries to get up but Eager appears to land a right with Rupp going back down to the ice. Another right by Eager misses, Rupp gets up again and the officials intervene as Eager lands a left over the top.

Draw. I had Rupp landing 6 of 9 punches and Eager connecting on 2 of 3. Rupp was active at the beginning of the scrap but his punches weren't all that effective. Eager landed a couple of blows after the Rupp slip to draw even.

These two talk off of the faceoff, and as soon as the puck is dropped so are the gloves as Rupp and Eager square off. As they grab on Rupp tries a big right which Eager ducks, and then Rupp fires four rights to the back of Eager's head knocking off his helmet. Rupp gets in a decent right to the cheek of Eager, and Eager returns fire with a couple rights. Rupp then fires a couple lefts that miss which make him lose balance. Eager gets in a good right, and is about to start landing some serious blows, but the linesman decide to break it up.

They chat before a faceoff and decide to go, squaring off. Rupp comes in with a left jab, and a right that misses over the top. Rupp with four more rights that are thrown to the back of Eager's head, the last one sending Eager's helmet flying. Rupp misses a short right hand as they grapple for position. They get bent over, and Eager lands a right hand, while Rupp misses with two wild left hands, and Rupp falls to his knees. Eager lands a right hand while Rupp is down before the refs can get in to stop it. Close fight.

As both teams get set for a faceoff Ben Eager and Mike Rupp drift away from the rest of the players and shed the mitts. They square each other up and Rupp misses a right as they grab on. Rupp then throws a series of five rights to the back of the head, missing just one and Eager's helmet comes off. Then Rupp throws another two rights and lands one while wrestling Eager around. Rupp changes hands and misses two lefts which throw him off balance. As Rupp gets up, Eager lands a right and forces Rupp back down to the ice. Eager throws two more rights and lands one as the linesmen get in and break it up. Edge Rupp for landing more punches than Eager in a less than stellar fight.

Jesse Boulerice decisive win Fun
7
Right off the faceoff these two go at it for another round. They have a pretty lengthy square off before they grab on. Janssen fires a right to the side of Boulerice's head, and Boulerice fires a right back. Janssen gets in another right, and narrowly misses another. Boulerice takes a wild swing with the right that misses, and Cam catches him with another right, and takes a big swing that hits the side of Boulerice's helmet. Janssen's helmet flies off, and Boulerice lands a heavy right to the top of Janssen's head making him go to his knees. Boulerice then gets the jersey over Janssen's head, and crack him on top of the head with another hard right and has his right cocked back ready to fire another. The linesman come in to save Janssen who lays on the ice favoring either his hand or his shoulder.

Jesse Boulerice decisive win Fun

The puck's dropped in the Flyer zone and Boulerice and Janssen immediately lose the gloves and have a long squareoff near the blueline. Janssen paws at the air several times before he and Boulerice come together. They spin slowly and Janssens lands a right to the shoulder. They each miss short with some rights as they spin at arm's length. Boulerice lands a blow to the helmet, takes a couple more to the shoulder and then knocks Janssen's bucket off with another punch as they spin at a more frenzied pace. Janssen lands one to the helmet but starts leaning off balance as he spins. Boulerice helps him to the ice with a solid blow to the head. He dishes out two more punches, landing one to the body after Janssen hit his knees. Janssen skates off the ice in obvious pain from an apparent arm/shoulder injury.

Decisive win for Boulerice. Janssen held his own early but Boulerice caught him with some solid rights to the head. The officials stepped in after Janssen went to the ice.

Cam Janssen wants another go with Jesse Boulerice after being dropped in the first fight and they shed the mitts at a faceoff again. They squareoff for a while and then latch onto the other's sweater. Janssen misses two rights and then there's a pause. Boulerice misses a right and Janssen throws two rights immediately afterwards, landing one. Then Boulerice lands a right but Janssen throws three rights after and lands two. Boulerice then misses a right as Janssen shakes his elbow pad off and Janssen's helmet falls off. Janssen misses a right as they spin around and Boulerice lands a right that puts Janssen off balance. Janssen goes to his knees while Boulerice lands two rights and then Janssen collapses down to the ice as the linesmen get in. Boulerice just lets go of Janssen and skates away though. Second scrap of the night for these two enforcers and Boulerice picks up his second win.

Round 2:

Again, they drop off a faceoff, and have a pretty long square off. They finally come together and Janssen lands a right hand, and misses a short uppercut. Boulerice comes up short with a big right hand, and Janssen quickly follows with a better one, and misses a second. Boulerice snaps a big right hand off of Janssen's helmet, and Janssen quckly responds again with a decent right and a second that misses. They start spinning wildly and Janssen lands another right hand. Boulerice with a right that knocks Janssen's lid off, and Janssen misses a right. Boulerice lands a big right that drops Janssen to his knees, and adds insult to injury with two more big punches as the refs are too late to get in.

Janssen is seeking the rematch and goes with Boulerice again. They drop the mitts of the faceoff and square off. After a pretty long staring contest they grab on. Janssen misses with a couple of rights. Boulerice answers with one helmet shot but takes a good blow from Janssen. They both land some more helmet punches and Janssen loses his bucket. Boulerice fires away some big overhand rights and puts Janssen off-balance. Cam has some problems with his shoulder. He is unable to fight at the moment and goes down under the flurry of rights. Boulerice lands a couple more before the linesmen jump in to save Janssen.

As a result of this scrap Janssen would be injured and traded to Blues after missing almost the entire season. Decisive win Boulerice. He ended Janssen's career as a Devil.

They are both throwing haymakers while spinning around in circles, then something goes wrong for Janssen (seperated shoulder?) and he falls to a knee and Boulerice pummels him into the ice

Janssen early looks to have the advantage but Boulerice quickly came back and ended up getting Janssen down with an injuried shoulder and his face towards the ice where he finished Janssen by dropping some good rights down on him till the linesmen came in.

Second big decisive win for Boulerice in this game.

Riley Cote decisive win
Fight called Unfair by mullet on Sep 18, 2007
Reason: David Clarkson never intended to fight back

Cote's skating along the sideboards in the Devil zone and avoids the brunt of a big attemped hit by Clarkson. Cote turns around and grabs Clarkson, tossing him to the ice and firing two lefts. The blows are thrown with considerable force but it's hard to see how well he connected from the camera angle. The officials quickly arrive on the scene to put a halt to the festivities and Cote heads to the penalty box, gesturing angrily at Clarkson before taking a seat.

Decisive win for Cote in an unfair fight. Clarkson never dropped his gloves but the officials came to his aid after Cote delivered a couple of punches.

Cote is skating near the boards nowhere near the puck, and for whatever reason Clarkson tries to throw a big elbow at him that misses and hits the glass. Cote turns around and drops his gloves, and throws Clarkson to the ice. Cote gets in a couple lefts as Clarkson tries to cover up. As Cote walks into the box he appears to flip the bird to Clarkson.

Clarkson bangs Cote along the boards. Cote is upset and quickly turns around to challenge him. Cote throws off a glove and clotheslines Clarkson to the ground and starts pummeling him from behind. He stops when he realizes Clarkson isn't going to fight back.

Cote gives Clarkson the finger as he enters the penalty box. Pretty entertaining.

David Clarkson takes a run at Riley Cote and Cote just gets out of the way of the hit. Cote gets angry about it and drops the gloves, grabbing Clarkson as he skates by. Cote throws Clarkson down while landing two rights and gets on top of Clarkson. A linesmen then comes in as Cote holds back and the fight is broken up there. Unfair fight since Cote jumped Clarkson who never fought back.

Do you guys notice Colin White standing around in all of these clips being the useless non-fighting pussy that he has become? All of his teammates are getting beat up in this game and he stands around watching all of it like he's at a tea party.

I remember when White came into the league and he had a good rep as a fighter coming out of junior. In one of his early fights, he KO'd Jason Doig of the Capitals in a preseason game and he looked like the real deal. But he quickly proved that he wasn't a great fighter, and when he started getting a lot of ice time and became "more valuable on the ice than in the penalty box", he figured it would be in his best interests to stop fighting. What a joke.
