Kevin McClelland clear win Fun
6
McClelland and Hospodar decided to throw down and go at it. Ed missed with a wild right. Kevin landed a couple of decent lefts and a couple of partial connects. He missed with a couple of attempts.

Hospodar landed a partial connect with a right hand. McClelland landed a couple of pretty good lefts and missed a punch. Ed missed with a wild right hand and fell to the ice. Kevin landed a partial connect and a solid blow while Hospodar was down.

I rate this as a clear win for McClelland. He handled Hospodar with ease and landed several effective left hands. Ed went down from a loss of balance and I am not convinced that he was in an entirely hopeless situation at the end. I can understand a decisive win call, but I am calling it a clear win in this instance.

Kevin McClelland clear win Fun
5
A whistle stops play and Kevin McClelland instigates a fight with Ed Hospodar, giving him a gloved punch from behind. It gets Hospodar's attention and he turns and drops the gloves with McClelland. They get a hold of each other, Hospodar with the left and McClelland with the right and both guys open up off the bat. Hospodar misses two rights as McClelland misses two lefts and then Hospodar ducks. McClelland throws four lefts and lands three before Hospodar opens back up, missing a right before McClelland misses a left. Hospodar then lands a right while McClelland lands a left and Hospodar ducks again. McClelland throws two lefts and lands one as they spin but has his arm corralled by Hospodar. McClelland gets his loose and misses a left as Hospodar opens up. Hospodar misses a right that sends him to the ice and McClelland throws two lefts, landing one with the linesmen getting in to break it up. A relatively short scrap but it had action the whole way through. McClelland clearly got the best of Hospodar in this one. McClelland was more active and more accurate while Hospodar was more tentative throughout the fight.

Kevin McClelland clear win Fun

Kevin McClelland goes after Ed Hospodar and they have a wild swinging fight as a result. Hospodar misses with a right and takes two lefts from McClelland. McClelland lands three more lefts as Hospodar pulls in close with him. The Oiler continues to punch away, landing three more blows before Hospodar is finally able to connect with a right. McClelland keeps the southpaw churning though, cranking Hospodar with three uppercuts. They spin around with both men missing with a punch before Hospodar is tossed to the ice like a rag doll by McClelland.

Give the clear win to McClelland for landing just about all of the punches in the fight. He tossed Hospodar around pretty good and made him look like a bad fighter here.

McClelland destroyed Hospodar with series of uppercuts. Ed looked absolutely helpless in this fight. Easy Kevin's victory.

Joe Paterson and Kevin McClelland come together and drop the gloves after Ed Hospodar came together with McClelland. Don Jackson steps in when Paterson pairs off with McClelland instead of Hospodar. The linesmen come in too and try to break it up but Jackson and Hospodar grab each other and start scrapping. Jackson and Hopsodar trade punches with Jackson clearly the more aggressive and active of the two. It's a spirited scrap but the linesmen choose to break it up first while McClelland and Paterson wrestle to the boards. Paterson is more active early on while McClelland only wrestles and tries to jersey Paterson. McClelland isn't able to get the jersey over Paterson's head though and then starts throwing them with Paterson, getting stronger as the fight goes on. Paterson becomes less active and as McClelland starts taking control of the fight, the linesmen get in and break it up. Pretty good mini-brawl. Fun

Don Jackson clear win Fun
5
Jackson and Hospodar squared off on the outside. Ed missed a couple of rights and Don completely wrapped up his arm for awhile. Jackson landed a couple of average rights, missed a punch, and landed a partial connect. He landed a solid uppercut and a couple of body punches.

Don missed a blow and landed a decent shot. Hospodar missed an landed a solid right. Jackson landed a decent left and missed a punch. He landed a solid blow and an average connect before the men lost their balance and the refs stepped in to stop the contest.

I rate this as a clear win for Jackson. He landed quite a few blows and Hospodar only landed one shot. Although Ed landed a blow that was a little better than average, Jackson landed several right hands with at least average pop. The cumulative effect of Don's punches put some hurt on Hospodar. Jackson had a big edge in punches landed and there was no doubt that he won the fight.

Don Jackson narrow win Fun
5
Don Jackson and Ed Hospodar grab hold of each other in the mini-brawl while Kevin McClelland and Joe Paterson are already paired off. Hospodar and Jackson miss rights at the same time and then Hospodar lowers his head while Jackson throws three rights, landing two to the helmet. Hospodar gets in tight and as they wrestle around, Jackson throws five rights, landing two and losing his helmet. Hospodar lands a right and then Jackson switches hands, throwing two lefts and landing one that knocks off Hospodar's helmet while standing back from Hospodar too. Hospodar lands a right to the side of the head and Jackson gets in tight while lowering his head. Jackson recovers quickly though, raising his head, standing back, and misses a right. Hospodar lowers his head and then misses two rights while Jackson lands two rights to the top of the head. Jackson misses a right and then falls to his knees, throwing two rights and landing one with Hospodar staying up. The linesmen come in as Jackson gets up but the fight isn't allowed to continue. Win to Jackson for landing more punches. Decent fight in my book.

Don Jackson clear win Fun
5
After the puck is shot out of play, multiple fights break out between the Flyers and the Oilers. One of the two fights is between Don Jackson and Ed Hospodar. Jackson appears to want this more than Boxcar does. Jackson lands three quick rights before Hospodar pulls in close with his opponent. Jackson's helmet falls off and he throws two body shots, as well as landing two rights over the top.

Hospodar has been inactive up to this point but he throws a right hand that misses. The two men wrestle for a moment and then Jackson switches to the left, connecting with two blows and knocking off Hospodar's helmet. Hospodar answers with a right that lands. He misses with the next punch and takes three more blows from Jackson before the two men go to the ice.

Jackson was in clear control of this fight. He landed almost all of the punches and won this match handily. Therefore the clear win goes to the Oiler.

Tough guys Joe Paterson and Kevin McClelland get tangled up after the puck goes out of play. They get in tight and wrestle while Don Jackson and Ed Hospodar pair off. The camera cuts away to focus on the Jackson-Hospodar fight as Jackson pounds away on Hospodar. Once they go to the ice and are being broken up, the camera then zooms back to Paterson and McCelland. The two men are still in tight as they wrestle along the boards, both men with their helmets off.

Paterson has the jersey pulled up over his head. However he still manages to land two weak left hands. The jersey comes back down just as McClelland misses with a left. Both men throw two lefts but they are both tied up so effectively that none of the punches connect. Paterson misses with a left and McClelland lands two lefts. McClelland lands a solid left, tosses a body shot, and then scores with another blow. Paterson wrestles him up against the glass and the linesmen move in.

It's unfortunate the linesmen moved in when they did as the fight was just starting to pick up. However it's probably best for Paterson that they did. McClelland looked to be building momentum and he likely would have given Paterson a difficult time. Be that as it may, the fight itself was a draw as the two men landed an equal amount of punches.

This was a struggle to get free, at first it seemed like Paterson wanted more than Kevin but in the end McClelland tried harder. Don't think a decent punch were handed out, McClelland pulled the jersey over the head of Paterson early on. Paterson came out of that bad spot, luckily for him.
