| Not a great fight for either but to me it seemed like Davis was more content with seatbelting Hand. Hand was busier trying to break free and did land more punches, so I would give him the narrow win. |

| After touching fists, the players come together and grab each other's inside neck collar with their lefts. Allard has the better position and is squared up to Pellerin with Pellerin angled facing Allard sideways. Allard uses this angle to pound the side of Pellerin's head with a powerful right then without cocking the right all the way back, throws a quick right to the side of Pellerin's face that he never sees nor expects which puts him down, giving Allard a flash knockdown. Pellerin lands awkwardly on his knee but tries to get right back up immediately but the linesmen had already stepped in seeing him going down. Pellerin did not return to the game out with a knee injury. Very short fight which is probably why they got the double minors instead of a FM. |

Off the face-off Doucette wants Lefebvre who he is lined up next to. Leinhos seeing them josteling, switches places with Lefebvre and Douce ends up having to fight Leinhos instead. After a square-off Douctte is able to grab the collar of Leinhos and throws an overhand right which glances off the side of Leinho's head followed by a right body shot that may have landed. After some wrestling, Douce lands a chopping right to the shoulder pad of Leinhos which Leinhos responds to with a left to the side of Douce's head followed by 2 more lefts that Douce is able to avoid for the most part. Douce throws a left of his own that Leinhos easily ducks under. After more wrestling, Doucette throws a 3 punch right combo to various side parts of Leinhos that probably do minimal damage. This followed by a right from Leinhos that Douce is able to duck under. After more wrestling and short non damaging punches from both fighers, Leinhos gets the right going and seems to land 2 rights that get Douce to hang on. Then after a few seconds of hugging, Leinos gets in two right uppercuts one which rocks back Doucette's head, followed by a body shot and more short punches from Leinhos. After some spinning, Leinhos lands a powerful overhand right, and pulls down on Doucette with the left causing him to slump forward. This followed by a shoulder then kidney then back punch which is enough to pound Doucette to the ice.
Good showing from Doucette fighting the heavyweight, but Leinhos was too strong for him and it was all Leinhos towards the end of the fight. |

 Oneill.the.Giant 2890 fight reviews May 10, 2009 13:22 ET | Sean McMorrow narrow win | Fun 4 |
Desormeaux and McMorrow drop their gloves and remove their helmets before squaring off at centre ice. They circle each other a few times before McMorrow come in and grabs a hold of Desormeaux and they start to grapple with one another. McMorrow then jersey's Desormeaux and lands a few right hands on him so the lino's come in to end the fight. Desormeaux wants to keep going and he forces McMorrow and the lino's to fall to the ice but the referee then comes in to stop the fight, and the two fighters are separated. McMorrow gets up and skates away with his arms in the air to signal that he won the fight.
This was a short fight as they came together in a clinch and McMorrow was able to jersey Desormeaux before landing a few on him and the lino's decided to end the fight. So this is a win for McMorrow in this one.
Narrow win McMorrow. |

| After the Doucette-Leinhos fight, McM challenges one of their middleweights possibly in response to the previous mismatch. Lefebvre understandably will have no part of him. After another STJ player hurries off the ice, Desormeaux comes charging off the bench after McM like a man possessed. When both fighters come together it is a big wrestling match with McM grabbing the back of DESO's collar and throwing back punches with the right. McM is able to get the jersey over the head of Deso. When seeing the jersey over the head of Deso, the linesmen skate in to break up the fight and McM attempts to pummel him with 3 rights to the back of Deso but nothing really landing. |

| Slight advantage to McMorrow because of the shots to the side of the head late in the fight. Desormeaux is a hugger, just like his teammate Raby. With Bosse playing one game out of every five (MMA commitments), and Yuri suspended indefinitely, St. Jean is lucky to have a champion entertainer like the Suge... |

fanofLNAH Oct 10, 2007 01:22 ET | The box score makes it look worse than it was. This wasn't a mini brawl at all. It was actually pretty civilized. After the McMorrow-Davis fight, Lamarche and Allard decided to go which got them ejected for fighting during the same stoppage as another fight. Doucette and Desormeaux got their penalties for being too close to the fights when the ref ordered them back. | Reply |

George Davis and Sean McMorrow grab a hold of each other at centre ice and quickly dropped their gloves. After a second or two of grappling McMorrow gets the right arm free and throws twelve unanswered punches at Davis. McMorrow looked to land about half of these punches and Davis looked in trouble so the lino's came in to end the fight.
Easy win for McMorrow in this one as he lands a number of right hands on Davis forcing the lino's to come in to stop the fight. This is a decisive win for McMorrow in this scrap.
