Cheesman and Galbraith line up next to each other for a center ice faceoff. Following the puck drop, Cheesman backs up Galbraith toward the far sideboards as they chatter. Galbraith nods his head, giving them the green light to shed the mitts but they leave their visored helmets firmly in place. An encroaching linesman chooses to back off when he realizes a fight is inevitable. Galbraith tosses a right that strikes Cheesman's elbow pad and reaches over in an unsuccessful attempt to unsnap Cheesman's helmet. Cheesman tries to lean away but takes a hard overhand right to the neck area. He avoids another right and retaliates with an overhand right of his own. The view is somewhat obscured but the punch looks to land to the head or helmet. Cheesman grabs Galbraith high around the head and Galbraith fires a pair of short rights at Cheesman's shoulder. They wrestle around and Galbraith misses high with a left before Cheesman throws him to his back and falls on top, missing a right before the officials separate them.
Draw. There wasn't much to this one. It looked like each connected with one decent punch. Galbraith was more active but most of his blows struck Cheesman's well padded body. |

 hb11 3533 fight reviews Nov 18, 2007 00:20 ET | Tim Spencer clear win | Fun 5 |
Spencer and Clune talk prior to a center ice faceoff. The ref skates between them and Spencer moves back to his side for the puck drop. Once play is under way, Clune and Spencer shake the gloves loose and square off. Clune wades in first and takes a right to the bucket. He misses a right as Spencer has him locked out well. Spencer lands a right to the shoulder/neck area and takes a couple of grazing rights from Clune while occupied removing his opponent's hat. Clune tries to stay low out of harm's way once he loses the lid. They each miss some locked out rights but Spencer frees his arm with an uppercut to the body. He misses on a followup overhand but connects with a solid right behind Clune's left ear. Clune searches for the exit door and goes down as Spencer misses one more punch and falls on top.
Clear win for Spencer. This was a bit of a size mismatch and Spencer's superior strength allowed him to take control of the fight and land the better punches. |
