This is a proper fight, even though they both got only 2 for roughing.

Nash drops his gloves and starts pounding Holmstrom. He lands a couple, Holmstrom loses his balance and goes down. Nash lands on top, but Holmstrom quickly jumps back to his feet, wrestles Nash down to the ice, lands on top and has time to pop him a couple of times before the linesmen restrain him.

Reed Low decisive win
Fight called Unfair by BattleshipRules on May 10, 2015
Reason: Too much interference by other players
 Fun

Things began to get out of control. McCarty was held by Salvador and Laflamme. Low began to fire off shots. He landed a few punches on Darren. Reed landed a solid right and missed a shot. He landed an average blow and a solid connect. A Red Wings player pulled Low away. McCarty got into it with Salvador. Low pounded Kuznetsov. McCarty pummeled Salvador.

I rate this as a decisive win for Low. It was an unfair fight as McCarty was being held by two Blues players and couldn't adequately defend himself.

Darren McCarty clear win Fun
7
A crowd of players gathers after a whistle and Reed Low goes after Darren McCarty while McCarty is held by Bryce Salvador and Christian Laflamme. Low throws five rights and lands three as McCarty's helmet comes off as he's dragged backwards by Salvador. Maxim Kuznetsov jumps on Low from behind while Igor Larionov tries to hold Salvador back. McCarty ducks away from Salvador and misses a left over Laflamme at Low. Salvador pushes McCarty back and McCarty turns his attention to Salvador, wrestling him into the net which has been knocked off its moorings. Salvador bounces up and misses two rights after McCarty misses a right. McCarty ducks out of his jersey and his elbow pads come off too. Once free, McCarty misses a left as Salvador misses a right and ducks, struggling to keep a hold on McCarty. Salvador gets in close, trying to corral McCarty but McCarty ducks away and pushes Salvador back. McCarty's shoulder pads come off and McCarty lands a right while Salvador misses two rights after. Salvador loses his hold of McCarty who ducks again, losing his shoulder pads completely. Salvador ducks while trying to grab back onto McCarty but winds up getting taken down. Salvador gets up while McCarty lands a left and tries to grab on again. McCarty throws two lefts and lands one as Salvador gets completely turned around and then throws an elbow at McCarty. McCarty shoves Salvador against the boards and then lands a right as the officials come in. They are then escorted off the ice. McCarty got out of his jersey right away and lost the rest of his equipment as the fight went on. Salvador had a lot of trouble getting set and just focused on keeping a hold of McCarty. McCarty did well though to prevent Salvador from getting in close and grabbing on. With Salvador playing defense, McCarty went offensive, getting opened up to throw and landing punches with both hands.

Darren McCarty decisive win Fun
6
A massive skirmish breaks out between the divisional rivals the Detroit Red Wings and the St. Louis Blues late in the game. Darren McCarty gets grabbed by Bryce Salvador from behind and was hit with a few pot shots from heavyweight Reed Low while being unable to defend himself. McCarty was fighting mad and after Low was grabbed, he had Salvador all to himself. The net is dislodged and Salvador falls onto the back of it. The two men get up and away they go.

McCarty misses with a right while Salvador lands two rights. McCarty slithers out of his jersey which was not tied down and he lands a left while Salvador misses with a right. Salvador stumbles due to having nothing to hold on to. He grabs McCarty's shoulder pads but the Red Wing slips out of those as well and now Salvador is really in trouble as he has nothing to grip at all. McCarty tags him with a right.

Salvador misses with a right and takes a left. McCarty jerks him around and tosses him to the ice. Salvador gets his with a left as he gets back up. McCarty connects with two lefts as Salvador gets turned around. Salvador turtles and just turns away as he tries to avoid being hit. McCarty hits him with a right and the officials step in to stop the scrap.

Decisive win for McCarty. Salvador turtled and was in a bad position at the end. McCarty had good reason to be angry after getting double teamed but it was a dishonest display for him to shed his jersey. Yes, other fighters like Bob Probert, Marty McSorley, and most notably Rob Ray did this, but that was in the days before it was illegal to do so. This was several years after the Rob Ray rule was put in place so McCarty had no excuse for not having his jersey tied down. Salvador had no chance with McCarty shirtless but would perform better in their rematch.

McCarty's jersey wasn't tied down and came right off, giving Salvador nothing to grab. Initially Salvador does try to fight back but misses his punches and then decides to do a standing turtle after that. McCarty ragdolls him around and has his way with him, firing several hard lefts. Salvador ends up basically turned away from McCarty when the refs come in to stop it. I believe McCarty was tossed for not tying down. People always bitch when Rob Ray would lose his jersey, but when guys like McCarty, Probert and Twist used that trick there was nothing wrong with it. Of course Ray tried using it in every fight but to his credit he never lost his jersey in a fight (on purpose or otherwise) again after the rule was enacted, something that can't be said for McCarty.

Salvador paired off with McCarty after Darren took some shots from Reed Low. McCarty was not happy and Bryce paid the price. Darren landed a solid right. Salvador missed a punch and landed a partial connect. McCarty came out of his jersey. Darren missed a blow and landed an average punch. Bryce missed two shots. McCarty landed a solid blow, missed a shot, and landed an average connect. Salvador missed a shot. Darren landed a good right. The refs stopped the fight.

I rate this as a decisive win for McCarty. Darren landed some power shots and rag-dolled Salvador throughout. Salvador wasn't very responsive at the end and McCarty's last punch was a good one.

McCarty takes Salvador apart in this fight. He lands big-time left handed punches and Salvador can do nothing about it. In the end, the linesmen have to come to his rescue in order to prevent serious damage being done. Salvador deserves credit for staying up, but that's his only credit.

Salvador might have landed one or two at the start, but then McCarty's jersey came off and Salvador had nothing to grab. Half naked McCarty ragdolled and pounded Salvador until the linesmen stepped in.

Gutless punk McCarty. Of course you're gonna be able to pound your opponent if you come out of your shirt. And McCarty pulled that crap frequently.Reply

He was fighting Salvador not Low. He purposely came out of his sweater to gain an unfair advantage over his opponent, on a regular basis. Just like that other punk Rob Ray.

To be fair, Rob Ray never lost his jersey again after the tie down rule was put in place. McCarty would still slip out of his jersey even after the rule was put in and this is an example of that. By the way, Ray wasn't the only one to regularly slip out of his jersey. Bob Probert, Dave Brown, Tony Twist, and Marty McSorley would all lose their jersey frequently in fights as well.

There was no Ko here. A TKO, but no KO. Can't really see much of this fight since the McCarty-Salvador scrap is in full effect. When they go to their fight Low has Max at his mercy and drills him with a right that sends them both to the ice.

The camra gets there late and you see Low fire a punch but the linesmen skate infront so you cant see if it landed or not and Kunetsov fell. this might have been a tko but since I couldn't see if the punch landed or not I won't declare a winner.
