During a line scrum Joe Sakic scored a TKO on Rob Brown sending him to the ice with a right uppercut that floors him. Emotion

At 12:13 it was #7 Lane Lambert who dropped Brown with a gloved punch, I'm sure of that. I think Brown got decked another time in this game, I don't know by who, but at this time it was by Lambert. Hillier then immediately dropped the gloves with Lambert. Emotion

Was it a gloved punch, or did Sakic drop his gloves before punching Brown?Reply

Are you sure? Tis was back when Sakic wore #88, and you can clearly see the number as he did it. Maybe it was the second time Brown got hit?Reply

After Lambert decks Brown with a gloved punch, Hillier goes after him and starts landing a few uppercuts, but then the clip cuts off.

Randy Hillier decisive win Fun
6
Battle in front of the Pens net. Lambert glove punches Hillier, who shows him and they seemed ready to fight but the refs are in between. From the side Brown comes in and pushes Lambert. Then Lambert turns to Brown and throw a vicious gloved punch at him and decks Brown. Then Hillier makes a beeline for Lambert with his gloves off and starts to pound away on Lambert with 10-12 right uppercuts on Lambert who were trying to bury his head in Hillier´s sweater. Lambert wrestle Hillier and pins him to the boards. Hillier tries another swing that misses and the refs break them up. Decisive win Hillier.

Randy Hillier clear win Fun

All Hillier in this one as he gets the rights going landing a few with a couple decent shots, Lambert never lands anything in return and is dominated but still wrestles Hillier to the boards to end the fight so I'm going clear win Hillier.

Gillis and Bourque dropped the gloves and wrestled during after Albelin decked Brown. They went at it verbally instead of using their fists.Reply

Well, the replay showed exactly what happened. I would probably have wanted to call it a cheap shot instead of a fight. If someone can change it, that would probably be more accurate. Here´s what happened: During the long Vermette-Buskas fight, Albelin and Brown stood next to each other. brown started it with shoving Albelin with his right hand, they shove a bit more with Brown being more the aggressor. Suddenly Albelin has had enough and throws a major league, beauty of a gloved right uppercut! He swinged it from right field and landed it with perfect precision on Brown´s jaw, who fell backwards flat on the ice. It was really a beauty of a punch, and Brown was lucky Albelin threw it with his gloves on. Fun

Brown was instigating and paid for it with a nice right uppercut by Albelin that drops him, while the punch landed there was some serious acting going on plus Brown deserved it. Dirty

I think this should be changed to a cheapshot. It was a gloved punch that knocked out Rob Brown. You can see clearly on that video a minute in.Reply

Indeed. Brown wasn't even looking at Albelin and Albelin didn't look like he intended to fight.Reply

Rod Buskas narrow win Fun
5
They start to fight behind the Penguins goal. Vermette pushes Coffey and Buskas comes in immediately to protect his star teammate. Vermette with rights and Buskas with lefts. After they each throw 4-5 punches they go down, but immediately get back up and go at it again. Looks very even at that point. Then we get a larger camera angle because of the cheap shot in a different section of the Pens zone. Can still watch the fight on the left side of the screen and while they are wrestling along the boards behind the net, Buskas throws 4 more unanswered lefts while Vermette is holding on at this point. Win Buskas for the late flurry in a decent/average tilt.

In a newsclip I saw they were hugging behind the net and Buskas landed a few pillow punches to the back of Vermette's head. Meanwhile Rob Brown was laying on the ice again, probably got suckered second time in this game.

Mark Vermette narrow win Fun

Vermette landed a nice right early in the contest and followed it up with a couple more rights as the fight progressed, Buskas was able to tie him up late and landed a few light blows to the back of the head but I'm still going win Vermette for landing the better blows.

Horrible camera work here. Leschyshyn and Kachowski starts fighting in the corner. after the Nords-defenseman mixed it up a little with Cullen. Wrestling along the boards when suddenly the cameras change to other players who push and shove. For a moment it looked like a bawl would ensue, but it calmed down. When the cameras switched back, Kachowski threw a right that I think missed and they went down. Impossible to call an accurate decision since I could only watch half of the actual fight.

With the 2 replays I think you get the gist of what you miss in the fight and it looks like a boring hugfest draw, but still you miss a few seconds of it so I can't judge it with 100% certainty.
