Larry DePalma clear win Fun
3
After a bit of a scrum Smith and DePalma ends up talking. Gloves then shortly came off.
DePalma got in the first blow and tagged Smith with a big right, DePalma lost his balance after the punch and went down.
Smith was pissed because he thought DePalma suckered him. DePalma was the one dropping the gloves first, and he did get the jump for sure on Smith. But Smith had his gloves off too as DePalma hit him. Unfair maybe, but I leave it for now.

Curt Fraser narrow win Fun
7
Lacombe checked Fraser along the boards and Curt was fighting mad. He landed a solid right hand and missed a couple of blows. Then, he landed a couple more solid connects.

Normand was a little slower to get going, but he scored well with a decent punch and a pretty good shot. He landed a solid connect and a decent blow. Fraser landed a couple of solid punches. There was an obstructed view for a couple of seconds. Afterwards, the men clinched until the refs broke up the bout.

I rate this as a narrow win for Fraser. He landed several effective punches in the contest and had the edge in punches landed. Lacombe was competitive and landed a few effective shots of his own. This was a good action bout.

Curt Fraser narrow win Fun

Curt Fraser has the puck in front of the Oilers' bench when Normand Lacombe runs into him. Fraser doesn't appreciate the check and he goes right after Lacombe who is willing to oblige him. Fraser lands a right as he locks up with Lacombe. Fraser connects with two more blows and the men start exchanging rights. Fraser lands around a half dozen blows while Lacombe connects with three rights after missing with the first couple punches. The camera view is then obscured by the Edmonton players on the bench who stand to watch the fight. When we get another view of the two, they are in tight wrestling and the officials move in.

Fraser connected better and landed more blows during their toe-to-toe exchange and for that he gets the decision.

Great toe to toe bout. Fraser seemed to get the better of it, as Lacombes helmet went flying after eating one hell of a right. And he had to burry his head after taking that one.

Edge to Fraser.

2nd half of this fight is blocked out by a body in front of the camera, so N/A should be the call.

Nice toe to toe battle with both guys landing some nice shots, Fraser was more effective with his rights landing slightly more to earn the win.
