Ray Bourque chases a puck up the boards and swings at it, hitting it up the boards just before he's run into by big Terry Carkner. Bourque manages to get mostly out of the way of Carkner but they do collide and hit the ice. Fun

Cam Neely clear win Fun
5
Jeff Chychrun checks Cam Neely along the boards, angering Neely who forgets about the puck and turns to Chychrun. They jostle and are fast to drop the gloves. Neely misses a left and then Chychrun misses a right while Neely then misses a left as Chychrun misses a right. Neely grabs on with the right hand and misses a left while Chychrun misses a right. Neely then throws two lefts and lands one as Chychrun grabs on with the left hand and knocks off Neely's helmet. Neely gets in close on Chychrun, pressing him against the boards and tries to get his helmet off. Chychrun gets off the boards and then misses a right as Neely lands a big left. Chychrun gets turned around and bent over, then goes to the ice while Neely misses a left. A short, quick, fight. Nice win for Neely.

Neely and Chychrun decided to go. Jeff landed a decent shot and missed two blows. He landed an average punch. Cam landed an average punch and missed a few shots. He landed a light punch and a good left hook. Chychrun missed a shot and went down. I rate this as a TKO for Neely. I watched several replays. I thought the good punch was most responsible for Chychrun going to the ice.

They bang in the corner and decide to go. Chychrun throws a couple, but after that it's all Neely, landing a few lefts. The last one lands very well, but it looks like Chychrun slips down. Not a TKO in my opinion.

Neely disposed of Chychrun pretty quick in this fight along the boards.

This was a 7 second fight, with Neely landing almost every punch he threw as he out muscled Chychrun big time in this fight. I don't think this one was a TKO however, as the last punch landed, Jeff was standing for a few seconds after the punch and then he bailed and just went down. But he fell to the ice after the zebras came in, so no TKO here, I believe. But a big win for Neely, none the less.

This is a standard fight between these 2 . as usual Carkner is peppering Byers right off the start with his reach advantage . Byers dodges a few, takes a few , but always stays in it waiting to throw a few of his own . Terry gets winded and Byers starts to take over , landing some good shots and a dandy uppercut . looks like the refs saved Terry at the end of this fight . .Why isn't this fight on here ?

Neely and Chychrun had the sticks up and were cross-checking each other. Cam was really agitated and ready to go. It looked like he landed a left hand with average pop to start the contest. This was seen on the replay at the end of the posted clip. The rest of the fight is seen from the beginning of the footage.

Cam missed a left hand and landed a partial connect. He missed a punch. Chychrun landed a right hand with average pop. Neely missed a right hand and the contest became a wrestling match.

I rate this fight as a draw. Neither man was able to land many shots in this brief contest. Both guys landed an average blow and Cam landed one additional partial connect. It was not enough to secure the win.

Jeff Chychrun and Cam Neely were cross checking each other and they decided to drop the gloves. Cam started off landing a average left hand. Then Cam missed a left hand and then landed a left hand that didn't have much power behind it. Jeff responded with a decent right hand and Cam missed a right hand. Then they just wrestled and the fight eventually stopped

I rate this a draw. Both fighters couldn't land may punches. Cam landed a average punch and a barely connecting blow. Jeff landed a decent right and I think both fighters punches evened out into a draw. This is the second battle between these two in this game. Jeff was a tough defenseman who came to be a powerful fighter and Neely was one of the best powerforwards. Below average fight I expected better.

Cam Neely and Jeff Chychrun get tangled up with each other near the net. The sticks come up and then the mitts come off. They square up and Chychrun misses a right before Neely misses a left. Neely misses a left while moving in on Chychrun. Chychrun then lands a right as Neely misses a left, then Chychrun throws two rights and lands one as Neely grabs on with the right. Neely misses two lefts as Chychrun grabs on with the left, then Chychrun lands a right while Neely misses a left. Neely tries to get Chychrun's helmet off and misses a left while Chychrun gets in close. Neely loses his helmet but switches hands and lands a right as Chychrun leans away. Neely lands a right and they wrestle around for a short while. Neely goes for the takedown and eventually gets it, ending up on top of Chychrun on the ice. The rematch goes to Chychrun as he landed slightly more and better punches than Neely. Fairly poor fight though, they threw some punches early but mostly just wrestled afterwards.

Chychrun landed two nice straight right hands. Neely tried a left and a right which didn't land cleanly like Chychrun's. Chychrun seemed to be backpedling after he landed the two rights though. He tied Neely up pretty good after landing the rights. I give Chychrun the slight win for those two nice right hands.

Round 2, I see it as a draw. After a long square-off, Neely lunges in and is met by the only punch of the fight worth anything, a long right hand by Chychrun. After that, it was a bunch of hugging, with Neely looking like he did the eye rake of Chychrun. I don't know if he did, but if he did, that's funny.

Draw in this nothing fight. Want to give the edge to Chychrun for landing the only punch worth anything, but he didn't do enough. Draw.

The guys give the nod and decide to go. Neely throws a left and catches nothing but air. The two men size each other up, and Neely lands a left and Chychrun lands a right and then they start to grapple. Chychrun is much the taller of the 2, but Neely appears stronger and is able to get the leverage and use his strength to topple his opponent. I'd give Neely a narrow win because he controlled his opponent and got his fans fired up.

Jay Miller narrow win Fun

Big Dave Brown and Jay Miller go at it again during a high energy game at the old Boston Garden. These guys drop the gloves near center ice and really slug it out.

They grapple and Brown begins firing long, left hand bombs while Miller is throwing short, measured rights. Miller then lands a solid right flush on Brown's jaw sending his helmet flying. Brown continues firing those long range lefts but he is not landing any clean shots. Miller, meanwhile, fires away with short rights only glancing Brown. These two fire non-stop punches when Miller lands a nice right that catches Brownie flush on the jaw. The crowd let's out a collective "Whoa!" after this big shot. Brownie holds on as Jay tries to pull free. Brownie appears stunned and has a huge rip in the back of his jersey going straight down through the numbers. Brownie regroups and begins to fire a few more lefts and Miller slips to the ice.

Great fight with both fighters throwing almost the whole way. Miller lands the two biggest punches of the fight and skates away with a narrow decision. I'll say this about Jay Miller: He feared no man. He must have fought Dave Brown 8 or 9 times during his career and Brownie was one of the best all-time.

Jay Miller and Dave Brown, two very good heavyweights are the scrappers in the fourth tilt of the game. They meet up near the blueline, shed the mitts, and start going. Miller misses three rights at first and then they just stand back and trade tenaciously. Both throw big punches, Miller rights and Brown lefts and Brown gets the best of it, scoring more often and with better. Brown throws thirteen lefts, landing seven of them and connecting two heavily. Miller throws thirteen rights and lands eight, connecting with one heavily. They get in tight and Miller switches hands. Miller misses two lefts before Brown misses two lefts and then they each miss a left simultaneously. Miller switches hands again and misses two rights before switching hands once more and missing a left as they stand back. Miller misses a left and then Brown misses a left. Miller tries to move back in tight but Brown is able to stand back and throw two lefts, landing one. Then Miller goes down with Brown and the linesmen jump in. A good bout and a pretty even fight.

Brown and Miller had another good action bout. Jay missed with a couple of rights. Dave missed a couple of punches, landed an average blow, and landed a solid shot. Jay missed a punch and landed a pretty good right. He missed a punch and landed a couple of solid blows. Brown missed a punch and landed a couple of solid connects.

Miller landed a couple of decent blows. Dave missed a punch, landed a couple of solid blows, and missed a punch. He landed a pretty good blow. Miller missed a punch and landed a solid connect. The men clinched. Jay missed a couple of lefts. Dave missed a punch and landed a body blow. Miller missed a left and a right. He landed a body punch. Miller missed a blow. Brown missed a left and landed an average blow.

I rate this fight as a draw. Both men landed about equally in terms of punches landed an the impact of the blows. This was a good action fight and there was not much difference between the two combatants.

Dave Brown and Jay Miller go at it once again, engaging in an excellent toe-to-toe battle. Brown goes with his left and Miller goes with his right once the fight starts. Miller blasts Brown's helmet off with a punch and they have an even exchange of punches. After about a 15 second exchange, the two get in close and grapple. Miller lands two lefts to the side of the head and Brown answers with a left. They grapple and Miller tosses a few weak body shots before landing a weak punch. Brown misses with two lefts and the two men go to the ice, ending the fight.

This was about as even as you can get as the two men both threw and landed a great many punches. The punch count was dead even making this fight a clear draw and a great heavyweight fight.

Brown and Miller go punch for punch throwing and landing right hand bombs. Both men threw about the same amount, but in my opinion Millers had a little more bite to them in the beginning and end of the fight, while Browns were most effective in the middle of the bout. Miller also threw the best punch of the fight to get it started when he sent Browns lid flying off, and almost his block as well. Slight edge to Miller in this one.

I have to give Brown the clear win as he landed the harder punches including the left at the end that seemed to really stun Miller. Miller looked like he almost bailed on purpose at the end. Miller landed his classic quick pillow punches while Brown was teeing off with monster lefts. Brown in a clear win.

Another classic fight between these two.

They clinch on and Jay Miller comes with his soft, pillow punches, sneaking a few soft shots that land. While Jay Miller is throwing soft short punches, Dave Brown is swinging for the fences. Dave Brown lands some really hard shots to Jay's face as they spin around a little bit. Brown then lands a few more shots while Miller misses with a few. Brown comes over the top and misses but then the follow up punch lands pretty flush to Jay's face. Miller has a good hold of Brown and rips his jersey it looks like. They clutch and grab and try to throw each other off balance for a little while. Jay lands a few more punches, not seeing where hes throwing, due to his head being down and his body in a bent over position. Brown sees this and lands a beauty uppercut that looks to land pretty well. Miller looked like he got buckled by that punch. After that punch, the zebras come in and brake this dandy up.

Decision for Brown for landing a better percentage, landing probably the hardest 4 or 5 punches in the fight, and landing the last punch, which looked to almost buckle Miller.

Both exchage evenly in my mind, but Jay gets in better punches throughout the fight. Excellent scrap between to excellent fighters. Brown beats Jay 7 out of 10 in my mind, but jay gets the nod here.

I guess most people watched the Bruins feed and listened to how Derek Sandersom & co called the fight. Brown landed the best punches and gets the nod in a great battle. The last real slugfest between the two. After they ended up West, their battles became much less entertaining, even though Brown scored at least one KO-win on Miller

Great fight between two top heavyweights. Both just throwing and both landed some bombs. Brown took Miller down at the end after throwing two more lefts, the first hitting the top of the helmet and the second hitting the shoulder. Solid draw in my book.

Well , first you have to take down Cairns bias review ! this was a great battle between 2 of the best in the league at the time . Brownie with his devastating bombs and Jay with his stunner rabbit punches ! pillow punches my ass , I seen Dave get rocked and go in and hug for a minute to shake it off .

Narrow win for Brown. He outmuscled Miller and landed the most solid blows.
