Basil McRae clear win Fun
6
Basil McRae takes a run at Bob Bassen and Duane Sutter chooses to step in and take on McRae for his teammate, both currently with the Chicago Blackhawks as well as formerly with the New York Islanders. Sutter gets right in close on the bigger McRae who throws two rights and lands one. Sutter misses a weak right and they wrestle around. McRae misses a right to the body, then switches hands and stands back, missing a left while Sutter leans away. McRae switches hands, getting his right arm out of his jersey and then gets rid of his elbow pad before missing a right. McRae switches hands yet again while grappling with Sutter and throws two lefts, landing one. McRae switches hands and lands a right to the body, then gets in tight and switches hands yet again, throwing two lefts and landing one to the side of the head. They wrestle and McRae switches hands, landing a right to the helmet before his jersey is pulled over his head by Sutter. Despite being blinded, McRae throws four rights and lands three to the side of the head and helmet but Sutter throws six rights afterwards and lands one as the linesmen come in to break it up. Sutter spent most of the fight wrestling and threw almost all of his punches right at the end when McRae was jerseyed. McRae threw more, landed more, landed better, and controlled the fight. Win McRae.

Basil McRae narrow win Fun

McRae runs Bassen into the boards and Sutter comes in to restore order. His idea of fighting McRae is to tie him up first and think about punching him later. For about half of the fight, it works. McRae tries different punches and changing hands, but hardly anything gets through. Then Sutter pulls off his best move of the fight, jerseying McRae quite brilliantly using both hands. McRae can't see anything, yet he wins the fight by throwing blind rights! Some of them land and it takes a while for Sutter to recover the situation and start punching himself. By that time, blinded McRae has tied him up pretty well! Sutter is only able to clip him once before the refs barge in, stopping it.
