John Kordic decisive win Fun

Rambo had no trouble with Dufresne. It wasn't a surprise as the bout was a mismatch. Donald was hanging on John's right arm and didn't wrap up Kordic's left hand. Rambo went with lefts. He missed a blow and landed a partial connect. He missed two punches. He landed an average blow and missed a punch. He landed a decent shot. Dufresne clinched and the men took a breather.

Kordic was able to land two average blows and missed a shot. Donald landed an average punch and missed a couple of shots. John got Dufresne in an advantageous position. He began to pound him with powerful lefts. Donald slumped along the boards. Rambo landed a solid shot and missed a blow. He landed two solid shots and a pretty good punch. The refs stopped the fight.

I rate this as a decisive win for Kordic. Dufresne was able to mitigate the effects of the punches for awhile. Donald wasn't very competitive in the fight. Rambo got full extension on his left arm and had Dufresne in a bad position at the end. He was dishing out punishment.

John Kordic decisive win Fun

There's a puck battle along the bench boards and John Kordic is in it when Donald Dufresne comes in after Kordic with the hands up high. Kordic gets his hands up to protect himself and then drops the gloves as Dufresne drops the gloves too. Dufresne just gets in close and keeps his head down as Kordic throws ten straight lefts, landing eight of them, though they're only to the helmet and body. Kordic pauses as they wrestle around and then gets some space from Dufresne as he lands a left. Kordic gets his hand free and throws three lefts, landing one to the helmet before Dufresne gets his head up. Dufresne then lands a left to the helmet as Kordic lands a left and Kordic lands a follow up left afterwards. Dufrense just puts his head down again as Kordic's hand comes out of his jersey and he throws three lefts, landing two as the linesmen hurry in to stop it. All Kordic here as he just pummeled away on Dufresne. At the end the linesmen took note that Dufresne was in a bad spot and jumped in to halt the fight.

Kordic was hammering Dufresne with his left and refs had to jump in to save Dufresne.

Kordic is going with lefts as he camera gets there, Dufresne ties him up briefly slipping in a quick right hand but Kordic gains space and starts pounding away till the linesmen intervene to save Dufresne from any further punishment. Pretty much all Kordic here as the only thing that stops him is the refs.

Damphousse spears Desjardins sending him to the ice squirming in pain. The whole incident was missed by the zebras. A replay was shown. No penalties were called.Reply

Guy Carbonneau went low while checking Mark Osborne in open ice and when they're going for a line change, Osborne gives Carbonneau a shove. That gets the attention of Russ Courtnall who comes in from behin and flattens Osborne with a hit to the back of the head. Dirty hit by Courtnall for sure. It was clearly delivered from behind and was right to the back of Osborne's head. Emotion

After Russ Courtnall flattens Mark Osborne from behind, Rob Ramage jumps Courtnall while Gary Leeman comes in swinging, but missing, at Coutnall. Leeman winds up bent over the downed Osborne so Guy Carbonneau grabs hold of Leeman while Ramage loses his hold of Courtnall. Shayne Corson tries to grab Ramage but is kept back by Tom Kurvers. One linesman grabs Courtnall while the other maanges to work his way through the crowd to get to Carbonneau and Leeman. Osborne finally gets up and is angry with Carbonneau, trying to grab him through the linesman. Courtnall reaches over the linesman to try to keep Osborne back and then there's some chirping as things settle briefly. Then Leeman goes in and gets a gloved right under the linesmen on Carbonneau. A linesman pushes Carbonneau back while Courtnall tries to get at Leeman but is met by Tom Fergus. Fergus and Courtnall soon break apart and then Carbonneau and Courtnall leave the scrum, allowing things to die down there. Fun

Russ Courtnall shoves Tom Kurvers down the boards and Kurvers retaliates with a good slash on Courtnall that sparks a fight. Courtnall and Kurvers grab each other's jersey and Kurvers throws four rights, landing one as Courtnall's helmet comes off. Courtnall gets in tight and Kurvers then misses two rights. Courtnall leans away and pulls Kurvers' head down, missing a right before Kurvers raises his head. Kurvers' helmet and visor comes off and he then misses a right as Courtnall ducks in low. Courtnall grabs Kurvers' leg and lifts it off the ice, dumping Kurvers to the ice as the linesmen hurry in and break it up. Bad scrap and a draw. Kurvers was more active but didn't land much and Courtnall got the takedown.

John McIntyre follows Russ Courtnall around the ice, even grabbing his stick at one point, but Courtnall ignores McIntyre and then goes to the bench. Chris Chelios comes off the bench and goes straight for McIntyre. Upon meeting, the two have the mitts off but they're quickly down to the ice with McIntyre on top. The linesmen hurry in to break it up but Chelios gets out from underneath McIntyre and wants to keep going. Chelios stumbles to the ice and takes the linesmen down with him as he tries to get free to throw punches. Chelios makes it up on his next attempt but struggles to get a hand away from the linesmen who follow Chelios up. Chelios misses a right as McIntyre's still on his knees, unable to get up under the linesmen. One linesman reaches over McIntyre to grab Chelios but when McIntyre tries to get up, the linesmen gets lifted off the ice and goes down, dragging Chelios to the ice. McIntyre lands on his back with the other linesman falling on top of them all and McIntyre misses a right at Chelios. Chelios reaches through the linesmen to get to McIntyre as they grapple until Chelios pulls himself out from under the linesmen. Chelios misses one last right before yelling at McIntyre. The linesmen pry the two apart and Chelios yells a few more things at McIntyre before they skate off. A wild scene with both guys struggling to get away from the linesmen to continue the fight after wrestling each other down fast. Chelios was the aggressor and more active of the two. He was pretty mad with McIntyre but couldn't get anything going with the linesmen between them almost the whole time.

Nothing fight. They wrestled to the ice right away. Linesmen quickly got in but they wanted to continued and wrestled some more on the ice with two linesmen in there as well. I'll give an extra fun point for that but still this was no more than a shit draw.
