This was a terrible fight where there was a lot of wrestling and no meaningful connects. McRae missed a right to the body. Stevens missed a couple of lefts. Basil missed a right and landed a weak body blow. He missed a couple of lefts. Scott missed a right and a left. McRae gave him a bit of a facewash. The refs stopped the contest.

I rate this as a draw. This was an awful fight with no compelling action. This was a major disappointment. It would have been nice to see these two good fighters really go at it.

Terrible wrestlingmatch, McRae wanted to get his hand free but Stevens wanted to wrestle.

Alan May and Perry Berezan come together after a shift and May shoves Berezan away. Shane Churla sees it and comes flying in after May. They both lose their stick while trying to square off but neither drops the gloves and a linesman stays right between them. Churla really wants to go but May soon skates off. The linesman stays with Churla who skates behind the net, swatting away the linesman's hand as the linesman tries to keep a hold of Churla. Churla tries to skate away from the linesman but the linesman holds Churla back and begins talking with him. Churla is pretty mad though and is sent to the locker room by the linesman. Fun

I remember this incident and Churla got the 2 misconduct penalties because, not only did he try to continue to get at Alan May for a lengthy time after they were seperated, but he became pissed off with the linesman that was holding him back and Churla gave him a shove and started swearing at him as you could read his lips telling him to "fuck off" and "fuck you".

Needless to say, this wasn't a very classy move by Churla and it just added to my opinion of him as being a prick.
