A puck goes all the way across the ice and the first to get to it is Mike O'Connell, pinching in from his defensive position. O'Connell has some trouble corralling the puck and slows up while being pursued by a backchecking Lou Franceschetti. As O'Connell goes to the corner, he turns to throw the puck at the net and Franceschetti makes contact. Franceschetti hits O'Connell right in the chest, knocking him off balance and back into the boards. O'Connell is able to stay up and rejoins the play fast. Decent hit by Franceschetti, he lined up O'Connell well and threw a clean bodycheck. Fun

John Kordic clear win Fun

This was a lengthy and entertaining fight. Kordic missed a blow and landed a decent shot. He missed a left, landed an average shot, and landed a solid blow. McRae landed a decent blow, missed a punch, and landed an average shot. Rambo missed two shots and landed a solid blow. He missed a punch and landed a partial connect. The men wrestled for a time.

Chris missed a blow. John missed a punch and landed a light shot. McRae missed a shot and landed an average blow. Kordic missed two shots and landed a decent punch. He missed a blow and landed an average shot. He landed a partial connect and a decent blow. Chris tried for the take down. Kordic remained on his skates.

McRae landed two decent lefts. Kordic came back with two decent lefts of his own. The men wrestled for a while. Chris missed a punch. John missed several punches and landed a light punch. At this point the men were tiring. The fight had gone on for about 45 seconds. Rambo was content to clinch and the refs stopped the fight.

I rate this as a clear win for Kordic. He landed several more blows. His early punches were powerful. McRae was gutsy and hung in there well. He landed several moderate punches. Still, Rambo built up too much of a lead. McRae could never make much of a comeback as John responded with counters of his own.

John Kordic clear win Fun

Chris McRae is up from the minors for the Detroit Red Wings and early into this game the against Norris Division rival Toronto Maple Leafs, McRae winds up pairing off with their resident tough guy, John Kordic. McRae loses his helmet quick and puts his head down as they spin. Kordic misses four lefts but then connects on left as McRae misses a left. Kordic continues on, missing two lefts and then missing a left while McRae misses a right. Kordic throws two more lefts and connects with one before McRae connects with one of two lefts. McRae keeps his head down and just tries to get in close then while Kordic throws three lefts, landing one. McRae gets his head up as they wrestle and misses a left before Kordic connects with two of three lefts. Kordic misses a left as McRae misses a left, then McRae connects on a left before Kordic misses a left. McRae misses a left and Kordic misses three lefts before reaching out for the glass to brace himself while McRae puts his head back down. McRae then tries to wrestle Kordic down after Kordic misses a left but Kordic is able to stay on his feet. McRae then connects with a left and lands a left as Kordic connects with a left after getting his feet back under him. Kordic connects on a left and gets pressed against the glass by McRae. McRae throws two lefts and connects with one as they wrestle and Kordic tries to keep McRae's head down. Kordic throws six lefts and connects on two before McRae misses a left and the linesmen step in. Good fight and a clear win for Kordic as he landed more and better than McRae.

Give McRae props for standing in there and taking on Kordic but he's in way over his head here as Kordics lefts are too much for him to overcome as Kordic clearly lands more blows to get the big win.

Daniel Marois and Sheldon Kennedy get tangled up during a rush up ice and it doesn't take long for the gloves to come off. However there are no punches thrown and after a few seconds, Marois wrestles Kennedy to the ice. The linesmen come in and break it up Marois just trying to rough up Kennedy while on top. Awful fight and a draw.

Scott Pearson misses a pass that goes for icing although Pearson immediately gives chase to the puck. Gerard Gallant follows Pearson down the ice and Pearson then jabs his stick into Gallant's groin. Gallant hacks Pearson in the hand afterwards but nothing else comes of it. Not a big spear by Pearson but still dirty. Emotion

The Detroit Red Wings and the Toronto Maple Leafs are involved in a scrum, one of many in this game. Among the participants this time were Joey Kocur, at the time the knockout king of the NHL, and a young ruffian up from the minors named Tie Domi.

Play is whistled dead for a penalty call. Domi is searching out Kocur in the gathering of players. The two rough it up and get their gloves in each other's faces. Domi is grabbed by an official as Kocur sheds his gloves, looking to fight somebody. Kocur ends up squaring off with Tie's teammate Brian Curran, who also shed his gloves and was looking to mix it up.

Just as Curran is winding up to throw a punch at Kocur, Domi (who still has a linesman trying to control him) grabs Kocur and pulls Joey around to face him. Kocur and Domi end up nose to nose, but that's as far as they got. Several officials and other players got in their way and prevented a fight from happening.

That's too bad! Joey Kocur in his prime going against the young lunatic Tie Domi would have been an intriguing matchup, to say the least. If Domi would have been able to defeat or at least hang in there with Kocur, his stay in the NHL during 1989-90 might have lasted longer. Heck, the Leafs might have kept Tie instead of trading him to the New York Rangers in the off-season.

But if Kocur had delivered a beating or KO on the young Domi, Tie's NHL career might have been over before it started.

Tie Domi takes issue with Joey Kocur roughing Dave Hannan after they'd battled in the corner so Domi makes his way over to Kocur and gives him a bump. Kocur throws a gloved left, hitting Domi in the head as Domi drives his hands up into Kocur's face. Brian Curran grabs at Kocur who shoves Domi back. Kocur drops the gloves and gets out from the crowd, looking for a fight. Curran is there and drops the gloves, squaring up with Kocur. However Domi, despite being held by a linesman, gets a hold of Kocur just when moves in to grab on with Curran. Domi pulls Kocur back and Kocur turns to engage Domi instead. The other linesman gets there to grab Kocur. Domi and Kocur share some words through the linesmen. Fun

I beg to differ. The linesmen were not in there when Domi skated up to Kocur and put his gloves and stick in Kocur's face. Domi was the aggressor and Kocur was ready to oblige, but the officials ruined it.Reply

They finally break free from the officials and start going at it. They wrestle for a few seconds until they both throw a few. Kocur with a right to Curran's back, Curran with 2 rights to the body. Kocur with a right to the body and Curran then takes Kocur down and throws the last shot at him that might have hit his helmet. They only landed a couple bodyshots, so a draw in a crap fight, although I'm sure some members here would probably give Curran a decisive win for throwing a punch at Kocur after wrestling him down, haha.

Brian Curran and Joey Kocur agree to go during the brawl but being guarded by both linesmen, they make their way wholly around the crowd of others to get at each other. Curran stops and squares off but Kocur has to evade a linesman before reaching Curran. Curran lands a right that knocks Kocur's helmet loose when they grab on. They wrestle and Kocur misses two rights before Curran throws three rights, landing one to the body but losing his grip of Kocur afterwards. Kocur's helmet comes off as he stands back. Curran grabs back on and Kocur throws two rights, landing one to the body and falling off balance. Curran pulls Kocur down and lands a right as the linesmen get in and break it up. Short, bad, fight that just ended far too soon.

Dave Hannan is forechecking hard on Lee Norwood, who's trying to protect the puck as he's alone in his defensive zone. Norwood angles to the boards but Hannan stays in close pursuit and eventually grabs onto Norwood. Hannan rides Norwood to the boards and knocks him down there. Norwood stays over top of the puck so Hannan roughs up Norwood a little bit in trying to get it loose. When a whistle goes to stop play Norwood gets up and wrestles with Hannan, drawing a crowd. Steve Yzerman grabs Brad Marsh to hold him out of the fray while the linesmen get to Hannan and Norwood to break them up. Mike O'Connell pairs off with Rob Ramage as Vincent Damphousse is wrestled away from the scrum by Dave Barr. Small, short, scrum without much action. Fun

As the penalties were being assessed for the scrum in which Toronto's Dave Hannan and Detroit's Lee Norwood were in the center, there was a little action on the benches. The two tough guy call-ups, the Leafs' Tie Domi and the Wings' Chris McRae, were on their respective benches and heaping verbal abuse on each other.

Apparently, the threats and profanity were bad enough that referee Ron Hoggarth gave them both ten minute misconducts. At first, Domi was sent to the penalty box, but was directed to get up and go to the dressing room instead. McRae was still sitting on the bench, but was ordered to leave and go to the dressing room, as well.

Detroit coach Jacques Demers appears dissatisfied with the ref's calls, but nothing more occurred at this point.

John Kordic narrow win Fun

This was a good action fight between McKay and Kordic. John landed three solid lefts at the start. He missed a couple of punches, landed a decent blow, and landed a solid connect. Randy missed a few punches, landed a couple of average shots, missed a blow, and landed a solid connect. He missed a couple of blows.

Kordic landed a solid punch and missed a couple of punches. McKay landed a couple of solid connects. Rambo stepped it up down the stretch. He landed a pretty good shot, two solid blows, and a pretty good connect. Randy landed an average punch and missed a couple of blows. John landed one more solid shot before the refs stopped the contest.

I rate this as a clear win for Kordic. John got off to the better start. Randy started to close the gap a little in the middle of the fight. Rambo dished out some punishment late in the fight and put the hurt on McKay. He did enough damage to earn the clear edge in my eyes.

John Kordic backchecks on Randy McKay and rides him out along the benches, preventing McKay from getting the puck in deep. Kordic steps back afterwards and McKay looks back at Kordic so the two drop their gloves. They square off shortly and then just grab on and start swinging away toe-to-toe. Kordic throws ten lefts and lands six, a few connecting really cleanly before he pauses to adjust his grip on McKay and then throws two last lefts, landing another one relatively well. Meanwhile McKay throws nineteen lefts and lands seven, with a couple catching Kordic square. Kordic ends up losing his grip on McKay and backs up, forcing McKay to pause. Kordic grabs back on, getting a good grip on McKay before missing two lefts and pulling off McKay's helmet. McKay just reaches around on Kordic to get in close but then Kordic throws a flurry of six lefts, landing five that knock McKay's head back. The linesmen see it and decide to hurriedly move in and put a stop to the fight. Another entertaining scrap for Kordic in this heated, nasty, Norris Division game. This was a really good fight with both guys going toe-to-toe for a long while. McKay hung in there but Kordic was landing better during that and he got in a nice flurry at the end of the fight too. Clear win Kordic.

It's the ensuing shift after the Randy McKay and John Kordic and Gilles Thibaudeau gets hit by Gerard Gallant and retaliates with a big gloved left. That sparks a fight between the two but Scott Pearson is third-man-in, grabbing Gallant. Daniel Shank tries to grab Pearson but is intercepted by Todd Gill. Gill pushes Shank back while Steve Yzerman grabs Pearson and pulls him away from Gallant. Rick Zombo rushes into the fray but almost trips over some equipment before being grabbed by Tom Kurvers. They just wrestle around a little bit and thing start settling until Shank and Gill, who had separated earlier, come into the melee and pair off again. Shank and Gill pair off and as they grapple around, there's some words exchanged and one punch thrown by Shank that misses as a linesman is there between them. The others come in and help break them up without further incident. Not a big brawl here but once it's done the coaches really start getting into it with each other. Fun

Gallant played his usual pesky shift. He was subtly using his stick and bumping guys up and down the ice. He checked Thibaudeau against the boards and he punctuated it with a bit of an elbow. Gilles responded with a solid gloved left to the face. Gallant dropped the mitts and it was time to go.

Scott Pearson saw that Thibaudeau might be in over his head against an experienced fighter like Gallant. He tried to interfere, but Steve Yzerman held him at bay. Gallant missed a punch and landed an average blow. He missed a shot and landed three average shots. He landed a solid punch and the refs stepped in.

I rate this as a clear win for Gallant. He landed some effective shots. The refs jumped in very early and didn't do Thibaudeau any favors. They tied him up first and he got hit with a couple of extra punches as a result.

Gerard Gallant hits Gilles Thibaudeau, knocking him off the puck with a jolting check and Thibaudeau comes back with a gloved left, striking Gallant in the face and knocking him back. Gallant drops the gloves immediately and grabs Thibaudeau, missing a right as Thibaudeau ducks. Scott Pearson grabs Gallant as he holds Thibaudeau's head down and misses a left. Thibaudeau forces his head up and drops the gloves, wrestling Gallant into the boards as he lands a right. Pearson is then pulled away by Steve Yzerman and Gallant gets off the boards and pulls Thibaudeau's head down before throwing five rights and landing three. The linesmen come in but Gallant doesn't want to stop and throws two rights with one landing. They're then pulled apart by the linesmen and Thibaudeau has some words for Gallant who just turns and skates off. All Gallant here. Thibaudeau instigated the fight with a big gloved left after Gallant's hit but when the gloves came off, Thibaudeau just held on. Gallant didn't get many punches in but he was the only one throwing.

Gerard Gallant clear win Fun

Gallant hits Thibaudeau, who doesn't like it, turns around and punches Gallant. Gallant drops his gloves and grabs Thibaudeau who also drops them. Pearson comes in as a 3rd man and grabs Gallant but is then grabbed (Pearson got a game misconduct). Gallant throws a weak left and they wrestle. Gallant then gets his right hand free and hammers Thibaudeau with 3 or 4 unanswered rights. Linesmen jump in and Gallant throws a couple more before they are separated. Clear win for Gallant in a quick one sided fight.

Daniel Shank tries to get to Scott Pearson when he's third-man-in on the Gerard Gallant and Gilles Thibaudeau fight but Todd Gill gets to Shank first. Gill pushes Shank away as the brawl grows around the fight. When the fight breaks up, Gill and Shank break apart but Shank wants to get into it. Shank goes into the corner where the rest of the players are paired off but Gill follows Shank and grabs him again. They're just skating around a little bit but Shank wants to go and starts grappling with Gill as they have words. A linesman reaches between them so Shank chooses to throw a right that misses Gill. Gill ignores the punch and the other linesmen get there to break them apart without anything more occurring. Fun

As the brawl winds down, Detroit Red Wings Head Coach, Jacques Demers is livid with Toronto Maple Leafs Head Coach, Doug Carpenter. They both walk down to the end of the benches to meet and have words. Carpenter remains pretty settled while talking with Demers but Demers is incensed. Demers is yelling, pointing at Carpenter, and leaning over the top of the glass that separates the two benches. One of Demers' Assistant Coaches, grabs hold of him to keep him back but Demers lunges back towards Carpenter, grabbing at the glass again. Carpenter turns away from the confrontation at that point while Demers turns his attention to the refere who comes by the bench. Demers is still mad and yells at the referee until finally settling himself while the penalties for the brawl are sorted out. Pretty good abuse from the coaches here, Demers was very angry. Fun

Luke Richardson's square off with Kevin McClelland comes to an abrupt end when Rob Ramage joins in, dropping the gloves and squaring off with McClelland. Ramage bowls past Richardson who's promptly grabbed by Dave Barr. Ramage is grabbed by a linesman but misses a left over them at McClelland who's grabbed by the other linesman. McClelland tries to get an arm free to throw at Ramage but he has his wrestled down by the linesman. McClelland lets up and they're broken apart there. Not much came of Ramage jumping in but he was clearly looking for a measure of revenge on McClelland who gave Ramage a brutal butt-end in the game these teams played a few months prior. Fun

Daniel Shank and Todd Gill line up for the opening faceoff of the second period after almost fighting in one of the brawls during the first. They're having words while lining up and when the puck drops, Gill hooks his stick around Shank's leg and pulls his foot right out from under him. There's no call so play goes on and Gill gives Shank a little bit more lumber until Shank dumps the puck in and gives chase. It comes to Gill who moves up the wing and Shank speeds up on Gill from behind. Shank gives Gill a pretty good slash and then almost slewfoots him. Gill barely stays on his skates and hacks Shank in the back as he skates past. A whistle goes and Gill barrels after Shank. Shank is unaware for the most part as the play goes into the corner and then Gill throws his hands up into Shank's head, knocking him down. Gill gets on top of Shank and the linesmen rush in to break it up. Gill rounds up Shank some more with the linesmen trying to pry them apart as Shank just covers up. Pretty heated and dirty battle between these two to start the second period. Fun

Randy McKay heads up ice, leading the rush and cuts into the middle of the ice before dropping a pass for Dave Barr. However as McKay goes into the middle of the ice, Todd Gill steps up and comes across, belting McKay with a punishing hit. Gill gets his shoulder right into McKay's torso and McKay's head snaps back. McKay is thrown backward and hits the ice while play goes on but McKay is hurt bad. McKay slowly gets up to his feet but he falls right back down again and stays down. A trainer has to come out to attend to McKay, who is clearly out of it, and help him off the ice. Huge hit by Gill. He stepped up and caught McKay with a strong hit when he cut into the middle of the ice. Fun

Todd Gill takes a penalty for hooking down Dave Barr when he gets a scoring chance. As the whistle goes though, Sheldon Kennedy hits Brad Marsh into the boards and Al Iafrate takes exception. Iafrate grabs at Kennedy who gets a glove into Iafrate's face and Marsh tries to get between them. Barr grabs Marsh and the linesmen try to get in to break it all up. Borje Salming and Doug Houda get into the pile and then Dave Hannan comes in from behind to target Salming. Hannan gives Salmning some crosschecks to the back and when Salming turns around, Hannan gets a glove into Salming's face. Houda pulls Gill out of the pile which soon dissolves. Fun

Tie Domi decisive win Fun
5
Toronto call-up Tie Domi makes his regular season NHL fight debut in his first NHL regular season game by jumping and beating on Detroit tough guy Kevin McClelland during a stoppage in play. Detroit had called up Chris McRae, someone Domi had battled before in the minors, and seemed to match him against Tie when he was on the ice.

McRae and Domi, who was sporting number 40, were side by side for a faceoff. Domi was having words with McRae and Borje Salming, who pointed his stick in Tie's direction for a moment. The puck dropped and McRae made a beeline for Domi, who ignored him. McRae grabbed at Domi from behind and ended up getting a two minute roughing penalty. The skaters slowly coasted around the ice as the officials gathered to make the penalty call. As everyone was skating around, Domi crossed paths with McClelland.

According to the Detroit announcers, McClelland had injured a Toronto player with a cheapshot earlier in that 1989-90 season (it was Rob Ramage, and he was hurt by some stick work by McClelland in a December game). So, in his next game against the Maple Leafs, McClelland had a target on his back.

Even though Tie wasn't a member of the Leafs at the time of the cheapshot on Ramage, Domi obviously heard all about it when he was called up for this game. Domi made his bones by going after McClelland.

The camera missed the start and cut to the scene as the Red Wing tough guy was on his knees and covering up, Domi hitting him with his left hand. The linesmen leaped in to save McClelland. According to the Detroit announcers, Domi attacked McClelland and quickly beat him down.

McClelland was turtling and taking punches, inducing the linesmen to intervene. This makes it a decisive win for Domi.

Domi and McClelland both get five minutes for fighting and ten minute misconducts and were sent to the dressing rooms after briefly visiting the penalty boxes. McClelland looks displeased and has some words for young Mr. Domi as he was put in the sin bin.

Tie Domi decisive win Fun

Domi was in his first regular season NHL game. He was looking to get into it with a Red Wing. Chris McRae almost got into it with Tie, but he was whistled for a penalty and came off the ice. The camera came over to catch the Domi-McClelland bout in progress. Kevin was on his knees and Tie landed a couple of solid lefts. The refs were on the scene quickly and they broke up the fight.

I rate this as a decisive win for Domi. He landed with some pop and McClelland was in a vulnerable position.

Poor camerawork in this one. When camera got there it was pretty much already over, McClelland was down and Domi threw one at him. Domi threw couple more when the linesmen had stepped in. If I would have to make a call I would say narrow win Domi, but I don't think we've seen enough to make an accurate call.

I was at this game. McClelland took a run at someone earlier in the season, and Domi cashed in the chip. I couldn't hear what was said between the two, but the next thing I know, Domi's almost lunging at him with a right that I think stunned McClelland. That was why he turtled, I think it surprised him that someone 5'10" could sting him that hard.

I think we've seen enough to correctly call the outcome. McClelland was on his knees and taking punches. He was in a helpless situation and was getting beaten on. The refs had to intercede.Reply

Well Domi probably won, but for me it's impossible to say whether it was a narrow, clear, decisive or maybe even a TKO win. If he hammered McClelland to the ice it sure would be decisive, but what if he just wrestled him down, or what if McClelland landed some shots of his own and just fell, you never know what happened without a replay. And I'm not gonna call every fight a decisive where the other player just falls down and the other guy throws a punch or two at him when he's down.Reply

Jun 21, 2007 11:23 ET
True, we don't know EXACTLY how McClelland wound up where he was. But he was on his knees and covering up his face with his arms as Domi was hitting him. The Detroit announcers said Tie jumped him, which seems entirely plausible, considering how eager Domi was to mix it up in his first NHL regular season game. They didn't say a thing about Kevin even throwing a punch.
If anything, you can list this as a decisive win for Domi, but list it as "unfair" because of the jump.

Tie Domi jumped Kevin McClelland
This call can't be allowed to stand. A lot of fights where somebody got jumped were fair, so it's not a good reason for calling Unfair.

Please use the Update link and cancel your call. Feel free to call it Unfair again if there was a good reason for that.

I haven't seen the fight.

"Unfair" might be the way to go. The reason is that McClelland never even got his gloves off until he was already down on the ice and taking punches. It's not as if Domi merely got the jump on him and Kevin was able to fight back. Domi mugged him.

I'll remove the "unfair" call for now. See if you can find tape of the fight, and you can make the final call as to whether it was fair or not.

Seems kind of unfair for McClelland to get a loss on his card if nobody has any evidence of how the fight started. If Tie jumped him, then he's being credited for a victory he may not deserve. Probably better to air on the unfair side, then the legitimate win on the card.Reply

Then the linesmen get betweent Curran and McRae to keep them apart but McRae grabs Curran's arm and they start having words. Daniel Shank gets behind Jeff Reese when he steps out of the net to play puck. Shank gives Reese a small shove and on his way back to the net, Reese slashes Shank across the thighs. Shank drops to a knee but gets up and lightly slashes at Reese who gives Shank a poke as he rejoins the play. A whistle stops play though so Shank turns around to have some words with Reese when Luke Richardson comes in from behind. Richardson knocks Shank over with Shank embellishing it and then Shank looks up to a linesman. Richardson gives Shank a light kick in the arm while he's down and is then pushed away by one of the linesmen. Fun

Ramages takes a couple strides toward Chabot who moves further to the side when Ramage comes forward. Ramage leans in with his shoulder but misses Chabot completely, hitting him instead knee-on-knee. Chabot is sent sprawling and a penalty is called on Ramage for the low hit. Bad hit by Ramage. He stepped up and tried to throw a hit going forward into an oncoming Chabot but missed hitting him in the upper body. Instead it was Ramage's knee that made contact, unpending Chabot and giving Ramage a penalty. Fun

Well away from the play Lee Norwood and Todd Gill drop the gloves and Lou Franceschetti trie to jump in but ends up falling over. A linesman comes by as Gill throws three rights, connecting on two as Norwood moves in closer. Norwood throws three rights and lands one and then Gill tries to throw a right but can't get it off. Norwood misses two rights as they grapple in closer still but then Norwood switches hands. Norwood lands two lefts and Gill switches hands, landing a left while Norwood again switches hands. Norwood misses two rights and falls off balance as Gill switches hands again. Gill throws two rights and lands one as Norwood goes to a knee but gets up fast with Gill getting in closer. The linesmen stop the fight though. Not a bad tilt between Norwood and Gill and pretty unusual to see a scrap in overtime but this was a very rough, heated, game. I'll call it a draw.

They drop them and Gill gets in two rights right off the bat. Norwood tries to answer but comes up short with a few rights. They grapple, Norwood throws a couple more and Gill throws one but nothing lands. Norwood then gets his left free and lands a good one. Norwood lands another left and Gill comes back and lands a left. Norwood goes back to the right, misses with two and falls down. Gill misses with a right as Norwood quickly gets back up and the linesmen step in. Pretty good scrap in overtime. Gill landed about 3, Norwood landed 2 and he landed the best punch. I think draw is a fair call.

Sheldon Kennedy goes up the ice with the puck, picking up speed to get around Al Iafrate. Iafrate reaches out with the stick, hooking it right across Kennedy and trapping his right arm. Kennedy tries to force his way through the hook but he loses his balance, going off one foot while reaching for the puck. Iafrate then steps into Kennedy, throwing him down and into the boards which Kennedy hits awkwardly. Kennedy stays down writhing in pain after impacting with the boards shoulder-first. A trainer comes out to attened to Kennedy and he's helped off the ice while holding his shoulder. Rather rough play by Iafrate as he propelled an off balance Kennedy right into the boards. Fun

Rob Ramage rubs out Gerard Gallant after the whistle in overtime and Gallant takes exception. Ramage gets a hand up on Gallant who pushes off the boards and throws a gloved left at Ramage before dropping the gloves. Gallant grabs Ramage who ducks his head and buries it in Gallant's chest while dropping the gloves. Ramage pins Gallant to the boards as Brad Marsh tries to get involved. Joey Kocur grabs Marsh as the linesmen move in to break up Ramage and Gallant. Kocur and Marsh jostle around and then drop the gloves. Gary Leeman tries to grab Kocur but Rick Zombo steps between them to keep Leeman out. Kocur and Marsh just wrestle around, Marsh trying to get Kocur's helmet off and Kocur shoving an elbow into Marsh's face. A linesman then reaches between them and they both stop. Not much of a scrum, just some wrestling between Gallant and Ramage as well as Kocur and Marsh. Fun
