Phil Bourque decisive win Fun
3
Mike Hartman and Phil Bourque battle in the corner. Bourque is trying to stay in tight. Hartman lands 4 noogies to the head of Bourque. They start to wrestle and Hartman misses with a right. He slips and falls to the ice. Bourque hits him with a few rights when Hartman is down until the linesmen step in.

Bourque was pounding away on Hartman who had to be rescued making this a decisive win for Phil Bourque.

Phil Bourque decisive win Fun

This was an odd type of fight. Hartman was doing fine with the fight on the skates. He landed a couple of decent blows, missed a punch, and landed a decent connect. Bourque had trouble getting rights off. He missed a couple of punches.

Hartman was holding in tight. He landed a light rap. Bourque upended him and went on the attack. He landed a partial connect and a couple of solid blows. Hartman was covering up as the refs were stopping the contest.

I think it was a decisive win for Bourque. Phil didn't dish out a beating, but it appeared that Hartman was turtling at the end. His chin was tucked into his chest and his hand was up to try to defend from incoming blows. Hartman gave this one away. I'm surprised a veteran scrapper who was as willing and experienced as he was would behave in such a fashion against a middleweight like Bourque.

Mainly wrestling early with Hartman landing a couple noogies, Hartman slips to a knee and Bourque takes advantage by landing some solid rights as Hartman just covers up which forces the linesmen to intervene, decisive win Bourque.

I disagree. Bourque only landed a few shots and didn't have enough time to make it a decisive win. Hartman wasn't in any serious trouble.

I don't think, that it matters, how many punches Bourque managed to land. Hartman covered his head as Bourque started pummeling him with rights. The linesmen jumped in 'cause Hartman was in hopeless situation and needed the officials' interference.

In other words Hartman covered up and clearly gave up. I think this fight fits in a defition of the decisive win.
