Easy win for May, first he went with the right and in the end he finished Stewart off with the left.

Brendan Shanahan win by TKO Fun
8
This was another exciting Shanahan bout. It was all Brendan early on. He landed an average shot and missed a couple of punches. Hatcher tried to wrap up his hand early on, but he wasn't having much success. Shanny landed a couple of solid blows and a pretty good uppercut.

Brendan missed a punch, landed a decent blow, and missed a couple of punches. He missed several punches. Hatcher decided to go on the offense. He landed a couple of pretty good uppercuts. Shanahan clinched after tasting the big man's power. Both men landed a few light blows on the inside.

Shanahan missed a punch. Hatcher landed a solid right. His jersey came up over his head. Shanahan landed a couple of average blows. Kevin missed badly with a punch and opened himself up for a counter. Brendan landed a couple of good blows to finish him off.

I rate this as a TKO for Shanahan. Brendan had a good edge of points, but Hatcher landed a few power shots and proved he could be dangerous. He missed with a right and got tagged with a couple of big shots. The TKO call may be a bit controversial as Kevin threw himself off-balance. I think it is appropriate in this instance because the counter landed in an exchange and Hatcher put himself in the line of fire. Two good blows finished him off after the desperation right at the end missed the mark.

Brendan Shanahan decisive win Fun
7
Players gather around a fight between Claude Lemieux and Rod Langway when some pushing and shoving starts up. Kevin Hatcher and Brendan Shanahan pair off and soon get the gloves off. Shanahan lands a left and then they move away from the rest of the players. Shanahan throws six rights and lands four as they grapple but then pause. Hatcher puts his head down and gets in closer to Shanahan who then throws seven lefts, landing four. They wrestle up the boards and Shanahan gets the helmet off Hatcher before missing two rights, losing the helmet in the process. Hatcher misses a right while Shanahan lands a right, then Hatcher misses a right and wrestles Shanahan against the boards. Shanahan lands two lefts, then lands a left while Hatcher lands a left. Hatcher lands a left and Shanahan throws three rights, landing one before getting some separation from Hatcher as Hatcher lands a right. Shanahan misses right as Hatcher gets back in closer on Shanahan, wrestling him against the boards again. Shanahan misses a left and throws two rights, landing one with Hatcher missing a right after. Shanahan jerseys Hatcher and then gets some separation from him while throwing three rights and landing one. Hatcher misses a right and loses his hold of Shanahan. Shanahan throws three rights and lands two while Hatcher just goes to his knees and covers up. Shanahan lets up while standing over Hatcher and then a linesman comes over to make sure Shanahan remains idle. Good fight between two big, young, tough guys. Decisive win for Shanahan.

Good long fight. Shanahan is more active during the whole fight, in the end Shanahan jerseys Hatcher and starts feeding blind Hatcher and he hammers him down and Hatcher turtles. No TKO but definitely a decisive win for Shanahan

Decisive Win. Les coups atteignent Hatcher, mais il se laisse tomber à cause qu'il a le chandail sur la tête et veut mettre terme au combat

Nice showing for Shanahan, Hatcher held his own for a little while but it became a complete ass whipping as the fight progressed and ended with Hatcher turtling for several seconds waiting for help to come, decisive win Shanahan.

I think these TKO's shouldn't stay. I just watched the fight on HDMI and no single punch caused Hatcher to be dropped.Reply

I don't think it was a TKO but from that clip I can't be absolutely sure it wasn't.Reply
