Alan May clear win Fun

May and Mallette were playing a physical shift. The two had a heavy open ice collision and Troy skated away and delivered a solid check on another Caps player. He skated back up ice and started to yap with May. The two decided it was time to go.

Mallette landed a decent right, missed a punch, and landed a decent blow. He missed several left hands. May missed three rights before finding the target. He landed a couple of solid blows and an average connect. He landed a body punch and a couple of average connects. Troy missed a punch and kicked out Alan's legs with a dirty slew foot move. The refs stopped the fight.

I rate this as a clear win for May. He landed some effective shots and a couple of them were solid power shots. Mallette wasn't able to land with much impact and Alan put some hurt on him.

Troy Mallette goes right to Alan May after a whistle and drops the gloves with him. Mallette misses two rights as they grab hold of each other in close and wrestle into the boards. May throws two rights and lands one, then Mallette misses two rights while May's helmet falls off. Mallette switches hands and misses a left, then misses a left while May misses a right. Mallette misses three more lefts, landing one, and then misses a left as May lands a right. May gets some space from Mallette and throws three rights, landing two. Mallette switches hands and misses a right as May moves back in close and throws two rights, landing one before Mallette slewfoots May down to his back. Mallette then misses a right while on top and the linesmen come in. Short scrap but not a bad one. May definitely landed more and better punches to get the win here.

Mallette skated over to May and started the fight. In close at the beginning with some harmless back of the helmet punches thrown. May then got loose and landed a few rights, the only decent punches here and Mallette immediately bailed and went for that cheap slewfoot trick he often used and they tumbled to the ice with Mallette on top. May landed the only decent punches and Mallette bailed at the end so I call it a clear win for May instead of narrow.

Video starts as a fight in progress. They are in tight to one another while throwing swings. May was able to land 4 well-aimed facialpunches while Mallette was only able to throw 4 semi-looping (not straight in) headpunches that only seemed to ineffectively graze May. Refs then come in. May's quality-punches gives him the clear win.

They battle from in tight for pretty much the whole fight, each lands an early soft punch or two then May gains some room and lands a couple quick rights and then hits another combo later, clear win May.
