There's some players congregating during a stoppage in play and Ken Baumgartner wants to get at Alan May. Mike Lalor is between them and tries to get involved but a linesman pulls Lalor back, allowing May and Baumgartner to go. May drops the gloves, grabs Baumgartner, and misses a left which brings him in tight. Baumgartner wrestles May to the ice and a linesman comes in. He has trouble breaking apart May and Baumgartner and when Baumgartner gets up, he goes back after May. Another linesman comes in and restrains Baumgartner and then they are pulled apart. Baumgartner never dropped his gloves and just took May down after May missed a left. Draw in an awful fight.

There's some pushing and shoving between the two teams, all the usual suspects May and Kordic for Caps and Vukota and Bamugartner for Isles.
Bomber and May finally got together but quickly fell down, crap fight.

They start going at it during a small scrum, nothing fight, they fall down right away, Baumgartner on top. I'm not sure if Baumgartner even dropped his gloves. Both got 5+10.

Kordic quickly removes Vukota's helmet and lands a left to start the fight. Vukota responds with 3 lefts of his own that find their mark. Kordic then lands 2 lefts before straightening his helmet as they move up against the glass. The 2 each land a left before Vukota does his usual takedown as he throws Kordic to the ice and lands a punch while they are on the ice before being separated.

Even number of punches landed on both sides warrants a draw.

This was Kordic's first fight as a Washington Capital. John landed a solid left hook, missed a punch, and landed an average connect. Vukota landed a solid left, missed a punch, and landed an average blow. John established a strong grip on Mick's right arm. Vukota missed a punch. Mick hauled Kordic to the ice and missed with a couple of blows.

I rate this fight as a draw. Both men landed about equally in terms of punches landed and the impact of the blows. Vukota went for his patented takedown move and this put a premature end to the bout.

Kordic gets a left in, followed by three Vukota lefts. They stay in tight and nothing is connecting. Vukota puts Kordic to the boards and takes him down.

Boring Vukota fight. Kordic throws one, Vukota throws a couple, then vukota pins Koridc against the boards and in typical vukota style he goes right for the take down.

They both land 2 or 3, but nothing big and then of course Vukota goes for the takedown. Draw. Kordic got 5, while Vukota got 2+5+10+game.

Vukota threw 2 lefts and Kordic returned fire with a few lefts of his own. They grappled and exchanged a couple of more lefts, before Vukota slammed Kordic to the ice, wanting to end it pre-maturely. No damage done and they threw an equal amount of lefts. Draw.

Kordic and Vukota at the side of the net shed the gloves, Vukota scores with some right hands and Kordic scored with some left hands, pretty cut and dry draw in my book with Vukota getting the takedown, fight was short and not exactly the most entertaining bout.

Do you have all of these on tape and you just make the clips or what?Reply

This isn't actually my clip. A couple of my friends on youtube upload hockey fight videos just like I do. But since I don't think they are on this website I figured I'd add them. However I do have numerous Sabres fights on many dvds. Check out my youtube account and see what vids I have.Reply

Nice videos, i subscribed and gave you a friend request. I have some recent clips and a few USHL clips. Also a good old clip but i haven't put it on here because it was sent to me by someone on here. I saw your scrum video with the Sabres-Rangers pre-game. Have you added that on here? I can't find it.Reply

If i was allowed to review this fight, i wouldn't of called it a draw and i would have called it a win for kordic because vukota is looking to terminate the fight by throwing him down to the ice----he could have waited for the refs to end it , so why not keep throwing punches?---because he just didn't want to face kordic in a swingout, plain & simpleReply

I think this is the reason you're not allowed to review fights.

Ken Baumgartner backhands the puck up the ice as he's approached by Alan May and Baumgartner turns right to May as they come together. The gloves come off and they grab hold of each other. They go into the boards but come off them and spin around. May's helmet ends up falling off and then May loses his balance. They land on the ice with Baumgartner on top and a linesman is in there right away to break them up. Very short fight with no punches thrown. May went down quickly after some wrestling so I call it a draw.
