Not a great fight. They're in close the whole time, both throwing some punches, but not any quality shots landed.

Starts when both guys make contact by the goal line area at the side of the net. Plenty of swinging but each guy only had 2 facial/head punches in this quick fight. Draw.

Cam Russell win by TKO Fun

This was an excellent fight while it lasted. Russell and Kimble were trading heavy blows. Darin got off to the better start. He landed an average shot and four solid blows. He landed a partial connect. Cam landed an average connect and two solid blows. Kimble missed two rights. Russell landed a good shot that sent Darin downwards. He landed an average blow, missed a punch, and landed a partial connect. Darin went down and the refs stopped the fight.

I rate this as a TKO for Russell. I thought the knockdown was clean, although Kimble stumbled a bit before going down. The initial force of a good blow was responsible for Darin hitting the ice.

This is an old-style all-out punch-out. Both throw rights and neither bothers about defense. In this type of fight, whoever can take a punch better usually wins. That's exactly what happens here. Kimble is first to find the target and before Russell can respond, he lands several times in a row. However, Russell absorbs them all quite well. His early rights go wide, but once he starts landing, the effect on Kimble is devastating. The first right that lands stuns him and the second put him out of commission. Kimble is lucky that Russell doesn't manage to connect again before he falls down, otherwise it would end up far worse for him.

They grabbed each other and Kimble immediately throws a flurry of rights, landing a few good ones. Russell then got his right going and one of his punches buckled Kimble. Short but very exciting bout.

Wild battle! They go toe to toe. Kimble early, but Russell came back and he knocked Kimble down. Some true passion and heart in this one.

Russel was a punching bag alright but he did sneak up a few very upset wins over very tough opponents, Here he dropped Kimble like a bad habit!

Kimble takes the fight to Russell landing several at the start till Russell lands a sweet right hook that buckles Kimbles knees and sends him to the ice ending the bout.

Dirk Graham clear win

Oh boy, this was vintage Blues/Hawks rivalry of the '90s right here. There's a wild scramble in front of the Blues net and eventually Roenick manages to score - as he celebrates, Mario Marois pushes him into Stevens, who in turn checks J.R. down to the ice. The Hawks flock to the net and Stevens start swinging punches at anyone in a red jersey - first Steve Thomas, then Graham, and then Manson comes roaring in to take control. Soon Stevens has three Blackhawks all over him; Graham's firing uppercuts at him while Thomas is draped all over him and Manson gripping him in a headlock - Bobby Bassen comes in to help out right when the refs try to establish some order - kind of funny because afterwards Stevens is doing his best to get at Thomas, I think he thought it was Stumpy who was punching him, and by this time Graham is being led off the ice by a linesman. Fun to watch, but totally unfair - Scott was buried in Chicago players while Graham takes liberties on him.

They drop the gloves in front of the net and are ready to go, but linesmen rush in the break things up. But they would go at it a day after this. Fun
