During a scrum, two of the NHL's premier heavyweights pair off and begin to fight. The crowd is hyped up expecting a major battle between Bob Probert and Marty McSorley. They would be in for a disappointment.

Probert and McSorley grapple their way into the corner. Probert lands a weak right. He has his jersey pulled off and he loses his helmet in the process. McSorley connects with a right. The two men begin wrestling and end up going to the ice.

Draw as both man landed one punch. This was a bad fight. I'm sure everyone expected more from these two but they would have to wait a year for the epic fight to take place.

Bob Probert and Marty McSorley pair off during a small scrum and it doesn't take long for them to drop the gloves. They grab hold with the left in close and Probert misses two rights. McSorley misses a right and they wrestle against the boards. Probert misses a right as his jersey comes up over his head and when it comes off, he gets space between him and McSorley. McSorley misses a right and then gets back in close. McSorley pushes Probert's head down and throws two rights, landing one and then Probert forces his head up and misses a right which causes McSorley to fall over backwards. Bad fight between two of the best heavyweights in the league. Draw, no one got the edge here.

This was a disappointing bout between two great fighters. Probie landed a decent right and McSorley was able to tie up his arm. The two did a lot of wrestling in this one. Marty missed a punch and landed an average blow. He missed a couple more punches. Bob lunged forward and landed a partial connect. The momentum of his body caused the men to fall.

I rate this as a draw. This was a boring contest. Neither guy was able to land much in this dull affair.

Nothing fight. They grappled and threw a couple weak punches before they hit the deck.
