Craig Berube narrow win Fun
3
Craig Berube and Donald Brashear have to be separated by a linesman at the opening faceoff and when the puck drops, Berube crosschecks Brashear and they drop the gloves. They square off for a while and when Brashear moves in, Berube lands a right hand to the nose. Brashear wraps his arms around Berube to get into close quarters and they begin wrestling. Brashear lands two left hands softly to the helmet and keeps Berube in close quarters as they wrestle around. Berube tries to stand back but can't break Brashear's hold and attempts to push Brashear off balance. Brashear continues to clutch onto Berube and Berube then lets up, allowing the linesmen to reach in between them. Berube grabs Brashear's helmet but the linesmen push them apart and stop the fight. Berube was pretty upset after the fight and was chirping at Brashear in the penalty box. Narrow win for Berube since he landed a decent punch at the outset. Brashear didn't open up at any point and choosing to just wrestle for the rest of the fight. Berube tried to get going for a little bit but then just stopped and let the fight end. Boring tilt.

They drop em after right off the opening faceoff. They square off, then The Chief throws the first punch and lands a nice right hand to the face. Brashear feels that and starts hugging Berube. Berube tries to get free and throw some more, but Brashear just ties him up and waits for the linesmen to step in. Berube wasn't impressed and he was shaking his head in disgust after they were separated.

They square off, and as they come together, Berube lands a huge right that staggers Brash. He decides it's time to huggy bear the rest of the fight, so I'll give a narrow edge to Berube. Even gonna add a point because of that punch.

Berube slips in a decent right at the start that lands on the nose causing Brashear some pain while forcing him to grab hold, they wrestle around for a bit and throw a weak blow or two with nothing of significance landing, narrow win Berbue for the one good blow landed.

Berube landed the first punch. It hit Brashear square on the nose, you can see it on the replay. That punch clearly stung Brashear as he was done after that and just held on and waited for linesmen to step in. That's why a clear win.Reply

Donald Brashear narrow win Fun

Brashear did a nice job of tying up Berube's arms in this scrap. Donald was a very intelligent fighter and was a master infighter. The Chief could do damage from a distance and Donald was wise to fight him on the inside.

Brashear landed two average blows, missed a shot, and landed a solid left hand. Berube had trouble getting punches off. He missed a right hand, landed a solid blow, and missed a few punches. Donald missed a couple of punches and landed an average blow. He missed a couple more punches and landed an average shot. The Chief landed a couple of decent blows and Brashear countered with an average left. The refs stopped the bout.

I rate this as a narrow win for Brashear. He landed more punches, but his blows were more of the moderately effective variety. He frustrated the Chief and kept Berube from landing punches with his characteristic power. It was a nice display of infighting by Donald.

Donald Brashear wants a rematch with Craig Berube and pursues him right after a faceoff. Berube accepts the challenge to fight again and they square off. Berube misses a right hand and Brashear tries to grab on but Berube stays back. They continue to square off and then Brashear moves in as Berube misses a right hand. Brashear gets in close quarters on Berube afterwards but after some brief wrestling, opens up throwing a series of fourteen left hands and landing eight. Berube ducks, tries to get a better hold of Brashear but fails, ducks again, and then gets his head up to throw three right hands, landing one before locking back up in close quarters with Brashear. Berube throws four right hands and lands one as Brashear wrestles but then opens back up, missing a left hand as Berube misses a right hand. Berube throws two right hands and lands one afterwards but loses his footing. Brashear keeps Berube from recovering and the linesmen get in and break it up. Berube was cut after the fight and went right to the dressing room for repairs. Clear win for Brashear for landing more and better punches in a good fight.

Round 2.

Another square off, and Berube bounces his big punch off Brashear's helmet this time. Brash gets in tight, and pounds away with his left hand, doing a bunch of damage. Berube tries to get space to throw, but he can't do it. Eventually, Berube slips and the refs jump in.

They set up to square off. Brashear unloads plenty of swings but only connects on 2 facial-punches in the first-half of the fight. Beurbe also tallied 2 facial-punches in the first half of the fight but without throwing as many swings. Second-half of the fight sees Brashear trying to lock up the arms of Berube while also landing 1 facial-punch. Refs come in then. Narrow win for Brashear.

Round 2 and huggy bear means business this time. He started hugging Berube early, but then he opened up and pummelled Berube with some good lefts. Berube threw some punches too, but didn't look like he landed any. Berube was cut and he had to go to locker room for repairs. Clear win for Brashear.

All Brashear here, in a rematch of their earlier fight from this game. He hammers Berube with a few big lefts and totally dominates him. Clear win for Brash.

Rd. 2 and Brashear gets the left going and lands with conviction. Berube looked to miss all of his punches and took a decent beating.

Brashear avoids a Berube right at the start, gets in tight and takes over landing several lefts to win the 1st half by a wide margin, Berube gets going offensively landing a couple in the 2nd half but it's not nearly enough, clear win Brashear.

Kaminski bumped into Roy, Stevenson took exception and challenged Kaminski.
kaminski with the first few punches as his sweater came off in a hurry, Stevenson got him off balance and landed one.
Stevenson landed on top and threw another shot at Kaminski as the linesmen stepped in.
