Gazdic Vs. Schnell
Right at center ice these two drop their gloves and quickly grab onto each other, They both exchange three simultaneous missing rights before Gazdic lands a nice right underneath the visor of Schnell before Schnell misses with two rights of his own but Schnell regains himself landing a solid right and they come in tight with each other. Gazdic then throws three rights while in tight with none appearing to connect, They exchange another two missing rights each before they go toe-to-toe for a few seconds both landing two of four rights thrown. They then come in tight with each other once again and the refs are about to step in but they break free and they exchange another connecting right each as Schnell loses his bucket and the refs step in to separate them.
Draw. Both threw many and connected with a few. |

paduke Feb 21, 2009 09:38 ET | great fight,, schnell has a great open ice hit, gazdic takes exception to it and wants to fight schnell so the gloves drop. Both fighters throwing heavy punches, schnell buckles gazdic atleast twice but gazdic keeps coming. Schnell did draw blood I could not see schnell's face being he headed off the ice, close to end of period. I would give the fight to schnell being that he landed some heavy punchs that buckled gazdic. Very entertaining, I wish they could have taken there helmets off. | Reply |

Gazdic clearly controlled the whole fight landing way more and way harder punches. Sure Schnell landed a couple but nothing close to buckling Gazdic. | Reply |
hockey37 Feb 21, 2009 12:06 ET | and the only blood Schnell drew was from Gazdic's hand beating on Schnell's face | Reply |

mievl Feb 21, 2009 15:01 ET | please now. I call them as they are which is why I gave gazdic the win in erie. this fight however was a solid draw. how do I know? it happened in front of me that's how. no schnell didn't buckle gazdic, but he did nail luke with some real hard shots as did luke on schnell. it was a solid draw. there is no way you can say schnell won, but you definitely can't give it to gazdic either. | Reply |

OHLTGAaron 589 fight reviews Feb 22, 2009 12:27 ET | Anthony Luciani clear win | Fun 5 |
Luciani Vs. Sanderson
The face off is at center ice after a Spirit goal and as soon as the puck drops these two drop their gloves and square off, They come together and Sanderson throws three straight rights with nothing appearing to connect before Luciani comes across with a big right that connects. Sanderson then throws a left but it only hits the back of Luciani's helmet, Luciani then lands a left bomb that knock's off the helmet of Sanderson. Luciani continues to unload throwing and connecting with three more lefts before the refs step in between them as they both throw two more lefts each while the refs are separating them against the side boards.
Win Luciani, More control and landed the better punches. |

| they square off after the faceoff. both seem to be landing fairly even until luciani throws a punch that sends sandersons helmet into orbit. from that point it was all luciani as he was throwing them hard and fast until the linesman got in there. he just overwhelmed sanderson at the end. |

OHLTGAaron 589 fight reviews Feb 22, 2009 12:34 ET | Jordan Szwarz clear win | Fun 8 |
Hostetter Vs. Szwarz
The face off is to the left of the Saginaw goalie Edward Pasquale and as soon as the puck is dropped these two drop their gloves and square off, They come together and Szwarz immediately starts unloading with a series of eight straight rights with the first one connecting then the next six landing to the helmet as Hostetter has his head down but as soon as Hostetter lifts up his head he is cracked by a huge right from Szwarz. Both guys then go toe-to-toe Hostetter with the lefts and Szwarz with the rights as both guys are appearing to land four or five good blows each before coming in tight with each other, Hostetter then throws two more lefts that don't appear to connect before Szwarz lands another right. Hostetter then loses his footing and falls backwards to the ice with Szwarz coming down on top, The refs quickly pile on as Szwarz is sitting on top of Hostetter and still throwing rights.
Win Szwarz. More control and more activity. |

mievl Feb 21, 2009 15:06 ET | dude, its clear your an otterfan that's for sure. but even as a spirit fan I admit when my boys lose (like how gazdic beat schnell in erie). hostetter got his ass handed to him by szwarz plain and simple. there was a split second or two where hostetter threw a few more than szwarz but that was only until jordan got himself situated again and then beat hostetter to the ice. szwarz was outthrowing and outlanding hostetter in the beginning and at the end of the fight. | Reply |
