Right at centre ice Pierre-Luc Leblond squares off with Riley Cote. Leblond shows right while Cote shows left and they grab on swinging right away. Cote throws three lefts and lands two before getting turned around as Leblond lands two rights. They get in closer on each other and Leblond throws four rights, landing one as Cote gets himself turned back. Cote then throws three lefts and lands one which gets some space back between them as Leblond backs off a bit. Leblond then throws seven rights and lands two while going toe-to-toe with Cote who throws six lefts and lands three, one knocking off Leblond's helmet. Cote pauses and then Leblond misses two extra rights. Cote misses two lefts, then Leblond throws two rights, landing one to the body as Cote switches hands. Cote misses a right and Leblond throws two rights and lands one while Cote gets in closer to Leblond. They wrestle but get space from each other again with Cote switching hands and missing two lefts. Leblond then lands a right and Cote misses a left before Leblond throws two rights, landing one to the body. Cote switches hands and misses a right, then switches hands again and misses a left as the linesmen wade in. They break apart the two and send them off. Very good fight. Draw.

Great toe-to-toe battle. Looked pretty even. They squared off on the faceoff after Philly went up 2-0. Neither fighter played any defense in this one. They went toe-to-toe then exchanged some solid punches back and forth. Then they went toe-to-toe again. Finally they tire and the linesmen come in. Both gave eachother a pat on the shoulder. Looked like Cote may have landed more, Leblond a little harder. Hard to call a winner on one look, but it was a good even fight.

Both drop the gloves at centre ice and square off with Cote as a southpaw, and LeBlond going orthodox.
They grab on and Cote starts his left going and LeBlond replies with his right. Both players exchange a few punches, with some missing at this point.
Both players then go toe-to-toe: Cote still with his left and LeBlond with the right.
Both players lose their helmets during this exchange, before they pause briefly and manoeuvre for position.
They exchange a few more punches, with LeBlond even throwing a body shot, before the linesmen come in.
Great fight and a nice start to the season from both players.
Both landed some good shots. Solid draw, with an 8 for the great action. |

Amazing fight, Toe to Toe bout, big shots for both, maybe edge Cote but i'd have to see it again. They squared right off and just threw them for at least 45 seconds. Great Fight.

Come one guys, the reviews of 7? This was a toe-to-toe battle at least deserving of an 8. Great fight, can't really determine a clear cut winner. I'll give it a draw.

Matt Clackson takes on Pierre-Luc Leblond and after dropping the gloves, Clackson throws two lefts, landing one while Leblond gets in close. Clackson throws another four lefts and connects with two more as they get to wrestling. Then Clackson throws two lefts and lands one as Leblond's helmet comes off but then Leblond stands back. Clackson misses a left as Leblond waits and then throws two rights, landing one and getting Clackson's helmet off. Clackson misses a left and Leblond misses a right before they go back in close and resume wrestling. Then Clackson throws three lefts, connecting on two and Leblond opens up and stands back. Leblond throws two rights and lands one, then Clackson lands a left. Leblond lands a right to the body, then misses a right as Clackson misses a left. Then Leblond connects with two rights as Clackson gets in close. Leblond changes hands as they wrestle and misses a left before Clackson lands a left to the body. Leblond then throws two lefts and lands one and then Clackson opens up and stands back after changing hands and misses two rights. Then Leblond throws two lefts and lands one while they get back in close and they allow the linesmen to get in after that. Decent tilt with Clackson doing quite well with the bigger heavyweight Lebond. Draw.

Good tilt. its great seeing Leblond in the NHL. Hopefully he makes the squad. Kim Clackson has a tough little cookie of a son in Matt. Good to see him go too!

Good fight, Clackson and Leblond drop the gloves after a collison. They go for a while, around 40 seconds, but the fight isn't as intense as Leblonds first fight, i'd give it a draw, but i'll need another watching.

Leblond second great fight of the game and I'd say it was another solid draw as Clarkson had the early edge and Leblond came back late.
