Milan Lucic clear win Fun
6
Following a St. Louis Blues' goal, B.J. Crombeen comes out and drops the gloves with Milan Lucic. They square up and grab on with the left. Lucic lands a right early, then he misses two rights after a pause. Crombeen then returns with a landing right but Lucic throws two rights and lands one after and also takes off Crombeen's helmet. Then Lucic throws three rights and lands one before Crombeen responds with a missing right. Then after Lucic throws four more rights and lands two, Crombeen replies with a missing right. Lucic throws two rights, landing one, and then pauses before throwing another two rights, landing one again. Crombeen misses a right then and Lucic misses a right before they pause. Lucic then lands a right but Crombeen returns with a landing right before Lucic throws six more rights, landing two. Lucic pauses and the linesmen see that both are tired and break the fight up. A pretty good tilt between a couple of tough guys. Crombeen mostly held on while Lucic did plenty of landing and was in control of the fight.

Milan Lucic decisive win Fun

Once again, Lucic looked great against an inferior opponent. Milan landed a decent blow and an average shot. He missed a punch and landed a decent blow. Crombeen missed a couple of rights and a couple of impeded lefts. Lucic missed a blow and landed a couple of average shots. He landed two solid punches and missed a blow.

Milan wrapped up Crombeen's right hand well. B.J. had trouble getting blows off. Lucic landed an average punch and a solid blow. He landed a decent shot and missed a couple of punches. Crombeen missed two punches. Milan landed a pretty good shot and missed a couple of blows. B.J. landed a decent shot. Lucic landed a solid blow and missed a few shots. He landed three solid punches and missed a blow. Crombeen grabbed Milan's right arm at the end and the refs stopped the fight.

I rate this as a clear win for Lucic. It was close to decisive, but Crombeen managed to wrap up his arm right before the officials arrived. B.J. took a beating in this one.

Right off the draw after a St Louis goal, Milan Lucic and B.J. Crombeen decide to have a round. They square off and they make their way nearly to the blue line before they lock onto each other. Lucic's position as he is sizing his opponent up is a unique one. He kind of hunches over and his fists are held lower than most fighters, but it would prove to be to his advantage. Both guys have their opponents jerseys wound tight, but Lucic appears to have slipped out of the grip because he hammers Crombeen throughout the entire fight. Crombeen attempts a few hits but is held down in the twisted jerseys and just can't match the many hard blows of Milan Lucic. After Lucic's first few hits he tears the bucket off the blues player and just feeds him his supper, landing multiple rights. After B.J.'s had enough the refs break it up and Crombeen is quick to skate away from that one. Millan Lucic Clear win. No doubt about it. He just pounded away and gave Crombeen no opportunity to get back at him at all.

Right after St. Louis scores, Crombeen and Lucic go off the draw. Lucic ties up Crombeen pretty well (and gets his Crombeens helmet off) through out the whole fight. Lucic lands some punches on the side and back of Crombeen's head. Crombeen came back with a few of his own, none really connecting.

His last fight was a narrow loss against Boulton, a heavyweight rated fighter on this site. Last year he fought Erskine, Ivanans, and Brookbank. Not to mention Boll and Clarksen, a great middlewieght.

Of course people are going to post more on players they enjoy. Why would I want to focus on players I am not inrested in?

If St. Louis put out Janssen, I am sure Lucic would have fought him as well. People are just hating because they have to rely on players like Peters, Stortini and Tarnasky!?!

lol he turned down Laraque because he had a lacerated hand from fighting Nick Boynton the night before. Then he went on to score the tying goal....lmao I guess someone who drops the gloves with 263lb Raitis Ivanans is a spot picker! lol I love laughing at idiots like you.Reply

They have all jumped on this spot picker bandwagon thing. I think its down to jealousy on some peoples part.lol. I'm not a Boston fan but i can see talent and this kid has it, he hits, the scores and he fights when needed. So what he did not fight Laraque, he's already fought decent fighter in the past like Ivanans, Brookbank, Boulton, Erskrine in the NHL. And when he was coming up through the minors fought plenty of decent guys.Reply

It's absolutrly hysterical. Half of them are Canadians fans, and the other half are just idiots who have no clue what they're talking about. LOL Then I heard the argument that Lucic only fights at home. The odd thing about that his his first 4 fights in the NHL were ALL on the road! Laraque's first year, 8 out of his first 10 fights were at home! Hmm...so I guess that makes Laraque a spot picker who only fought at home using their idiotic logic! lolReply

lLOL Erksine landed a great shot breaking Lucic's nose, but Lucic has fought plenty of top fighters, including Raitis Ivanans! He is a first line winger, and is not supposed to be dropping with goons, He has an 8 game point streak as well.Reply

Like I said, he hasnt impressed me, youre clearly a fan of his and i get it.I watch plenty of devils games and he does ok but hes no heavyweight and if and when he fights a heavy he holds on.You dont like Lucic no problem, just say that because everybody picks their spots

LOL Lucic only fights non established heavyweights? I guess Ivanans at 263 pounds and was the heavyiest guy going into the season last year, and was a top 10 ranked fighter doesn't qualify as a true heavyweight! I guess Nick Tarnasky was not an established heavyweight even though he was heavier than Milan when Lucic fought him either? I guess Wade Brookbank wasn't an established heavyweight either when Lucic dropped them even though his nose was still healing from being broken? I guess Boulton is just an unproven journeyman fighter who isn't good at all? LMAO

Why don't you look at who Cam Neely and Rick Tocchet fought when they were 19 and 20 years old! Hell, Tocchet didn't even make it to the NHL until he was 20! Their fight cards are littered with middleweights like Rich Sutter, Matts Habscheid, Nevin Markwart, Paul Gagne, Doug Lidster, Dave Pichette, Greg Gilbert, Craig Wolanin, Joe Patterson, Wally Weir, Matts Hallin, Pat Price,Tim Watters, Troy Loney, Gerald Didduck, Terry Johnson, Craig MacTavish, Perry Anderson, Craig Laughlin, Jim Weimer, Dave Donnelly Jim Sandlak, Jim Johnson,Robert Picard, Dave Lewis, Carl Mokosak..etc. The only Legit heavy that Neely fought who was an established heavyweight when he was 20 years old was Dave Semenko, and when Neely dropped them, he just held on for dear life and wouldnt even attempt throwing a punch! He just hugged him and stay inside and the refs broke it up immediately. Tocchet fought 2 legit heavys when he was 20 years old:Larry Playfair and Barry Beck, although Beck had only had as many fights in his entire career as Rick had in his first season and a half!
But of course, you think that any 19 and 20 year old kid who comes into the league should have to fight the heavyweight champ on his terms because you assume everyone else did! LMAO You're a complete joke, and I bet you never played beyond high school!

Idiots like you point to the fact that Neely fought Kocur, and that when Tocchet was 21, he fought Probert! What you forget is that Probert and Tocchet were the same age, as were Neely and Kocur. They weren't fighting the reigning heavyweight champs! They were all young kids coming up together! Neely wasn't fighting Joe Kocur the KO king, Cam was fighting Joey Kocur, the kid struggling to stay in the NHL after getting pummeled by Dave Richter!

Now your logic that because Lucic lost to Erskine as a 19 year old, so he wouldnt wanna fight a legit heavyweight like Janssen right now, means what exactly? Bob Probert lost to Brian Curran in a pretty one sided fight when Bob was just 20...even older than Lucic was when he lost to Erskine!
Janssen lost in back to back fights against Jesse "glass jaw" Boulerice! Milan is a year older, and he's smarter, stronger and in better shape than he was last year. Every GM in the league would give his left nut to have a kid like Lucic on their team...ESPECIALLY Bob Gainey, because Montreal is missing the element that Lucic Brings to the table at either wing.
