Rudy Poeschek clear win Fun
8
This was an exciting fight with plenty of action. Wells missed two blows. He landed an average shot and a solid right. Poeschek landed an average punch and missed two shots. He landed a pretty good blow and missed a punch. He landed three solid rights. Jay landed two average punches and missed a few rights.

Rudy missed a punch and landed a good blow. He missed a punch and landed a pretty good shot. Wells missed a few punches. Poeschek continued to take it to Jay. He landed a solid blow and missed a punch. The refs stepped in to stop the contest. Jay missed a final blow.

I rate this as a clear win for Poeschek. Rudy landed the heavier shots and more punches in the fight. He won by a comfortable margin.

Rudy Poeschek clear win Fun

Jay Wells gives Rudy Poeschek a shove and Poeschek turns and shoves Wells back with the stick up high. Wells takes issue and shoves Poeschek, then Poeschek misses a gloved right. Wells drops the gloves and misses a left so Poeschek drops the gloves too. They get a hold of each other and Poeschek throws sixteen rights, landing nine, and connecting with three nicely while Wells throws eight rights, landing five, and connecting one decently well before pausing and then missing two lefts that causes him to go down. Poeschek misses a right and Wells bounces back up as the officials barge in. Wells misses a right but lands a left around the linesmen who get right in front of Poeschek. Poeschek stops but Wells misses one last right before stopping and allowing the fight to end there. Really good toe-to-toe fight between two tough veterans. Wells stood in there but clearly took the worst of it. Poeschek threw more, landed more, and landed better punches.

Rudy Poeschek clear win Fun

They drop the gloves behind the net and immediately start going toe to toe with rights. Wells gets in a few nice ones, but Poeschek is more accurate with his punches and lands more. Wells then puts his head down and stops throwing. Poeschek keeps chucking them and lands about five unanswered rights, including a couple real good ones. Wells tries to come back and throws a big left, that just misses Rudy's face and lands on his shoulder instead. Poeschek lands a right to the side of Wells' head and Wells falls down to his knees. Poeschek throws one more at Wells, who gets back up but the linesmen decide to jump in at that point. Wells throws a couple over a linesman that has a hold of Poeschek and lands a late shot before they are separated. Great battle, it didn't last very long but they really exchanged some bombs. It was quite close in the first half, but Poeschek clearly took over in the second half and landed more to get the clear win.

I'm not sure if this is the entire fight, so I won't do a review. It looked like an exciting bout from what we can see in the posted clip.Reply

Tony Twist clear win Fun
5
Rudy Poeschek and Tony Twist go at it along the boards by a blueline. They grab on with the left and start trading rights. Twist throws a six and lands two while Poeschek throws two and connects once. They pause and then Poeschek connects with one more. Twist throws five in a row and connects thrice before Poeschek lands one. Twist lands twice more and then Poeschek starts to wrestle. It doesn't last long and then the linesmen end the fight. Clear win for Twist as he was the more active fighter and Poeschek really wasn't. Alright tilt between heavyweights.

This was another dominant performance by Twist. Poeschek traded freely with him and paid the price. Rudy missed a punch and landed a solid connect. Tony landed a solid shot and three blows with pretty good pop. He landed a couple of solid punches and a couple of pretty good blows. Poeschek missed a right. Twist landed a couple of average shots. Rudy clinched and held until the refs stopped the contest.

I rate this as a clear win for Twist. Tony beat up Poeschek and the St. Louis express kept on running. This was another dominant showing.

Twist lands a couple rights early, Poeschek lands the punch of the fight as they are along the boards, a hard right. Twist physically dominates Rudy, throwing hard punches to the back of his head. The refs get in as Poeschek has had enough, tying Twist up.

Twist gets the better of Poeschek here (these two eventually became team mates and good friends). He far out lands Rudy, and lands the much harder punches. One of Twist's punches caught Poeschek next to his left eye and there was a huge lump.
