Andrei Nazarov takes a pass on the halfboards but then a pinching Sean O'Donnell comes in a lowers the boom on Nazarov. O'Donnell gets the shoulder into Nazarov's chest, sending the big winger off his feet and onto the ice. Fun

During the play, Nazarov is standing in the corner when Johnson comes flying in off camera and levels him. Camera gets there and Johnson is standing over top of an injured Nazarov, the Sharks then go after Johnson. Al Iafrate is the first to get there, but he is intercepted by a King and a pile ensues. Iafrate attempts to slash Johnson in the head twice at this point. Lots of wrestling going on as the linesmen try to get Johnson under control. Nazarov finally gets up and the trainer is checking on him. Potomski and Nolan are fighting in what tuned out to be a decent fight, the only real decent one of the brawl. Johnson sees Nazarov is back on his feet so he tried to get at him, but the linesman has a hold of him. Johnson decides to throw the linesman and him and Nazarov start to fight at the same time, but Johnson quickly tackles Nazarov and holds him down and tries to hit him a few times. Meanwhile Potomski and Nolan are still fighting. They fall down from exhaustion, Nolan is on top but does the noble thing and does not pound on a prone Potomski. The brawl ends with Norstrom going after Nazarov for some reason, but he is held back by Hawgood.

Not the best brawl in terms of individual fights, but it was great because it had a lot of cheap stuff and was wild from beginning to end.

The only real fights that broke out was Nolan-Potomski and Johnson-Nazarov.
More players were assesed with fighting majors but i wouldn't call those "fights".
After the brawling seemed to have calmed down, Norstrom suddenly wanted a piece of Nazarov. Hawgood was able to hold Norstrom back so he didn't really get to Naz.

Johnson, being the cheap basturd he is, elbows Nazarov who broke his cheekbone as a line brawl breaks out.

Nazarov was down and out, but eventually got back up and went looking for Johnson. They get together and slip, with Johnson on top.

Nothing really thrown, nothing really landed.

No way Johnson gets a victory in this 'fight'.

Johnson got 4 games for that nasty hit that broke Nazarov's face.

I call UNFAIR!!!!

These two were tangled up during this brawl. Even though they both got majors i don't really see them fighting. Refs broke them up first of all, they looked like they wanted to fight when the zebras got in between.Reply

Dody Wood goes for a loose puck behind the net and Ed Olczyk tries to protect the puck. Wood lowers his shoulder and plows into Olczyk, knocking him down. Wood then works for the puck and Olczyk slashes Wood's leg. Fun

Rob Blake backhands the puck up the boards and Shean Donovan comes in for the hit on Blake. Donovan gets his hands up a little but Blake raises his stick up too and drills Donovan right in the throat. Donovan's head snaps back and he drops to the ice immediately and covers up on his knees. Blake is called for the play and given a four minute double minor. Cheap play by Blake, a big crosscheck to the throat. Emotion

Todd Ewen and Steven Finn start to rough it up in front of the net and begin to wrestle but do not drop the gloves. The net comes off and Ewen tries a few gloves punches before the referees break it up. Fun
