Dale Henry narrow win Fun
4
This was a lengthy contest, but not a good one. Gibson missed two punches and landed an average left. Henry landed a decent blow, landed a light shot, and landed a decent punch. Don missed several punches. Dale missed a shot and landed two light blows. He landed a partial connect and a light punch. He landed a partial connect and missed two blows. Gibson landed a partial connect. Henry landed a decent shot and missed a few blows. The refs stopped the fight.

I rate this as a narrow win for Henry. It was a close fight, but Dale out worked Gibson in the infighting.

This was a crazy, wild brawl that nearly caused several Admirals to leave the bench. With under 15 seconds left to play, Herniman skates like a bat out of hell at Bakovic, who is headed into the corner, but in front of the Admirals net. He full out jumps Bakovic from behind, gloves off and punches from both hands. Herniman is a Vancouver property, who had just been reassigned from Milwaukee to Albany, and later said the two were friends last year, but claimed Bakovic had been chirping him and hitting guys from behind all game. A huge pile forms, with Albany on the power play the Ads goalie enters the action and pairs off with Rich Costello. Herniman and Bakovic continue to be the first act, with Costello and goalie McKichan providing a sideshow. This evolves into five separate fights Bakovic continuing to be the main event. As the lineys get the two big boys separated and toward (but not in) their benches, the Lomow-Veilleux battle heats up. Lomow pounds Veilleux into submission with a series of rights, sending him to the ice. Bakovic sees this, takes a sharp right on his way to the penalty box, and dives in creating a second big pile up. This was seven men, as Herniman was being restrained, and Beaulieu and Brown continued their fight in the corner. Bakovic was dragged to the Ads bench, as several irate players slammed their sticks and screamed for the linesman to get over to break up Lomow and Veilleux. They were probably right, as Lomow began to pound on Veilleux, who had stood back up. Lomow appears to throw a combo of three rights and three lefts, with the final right causing Veilleux to lose his bearings, staying up only after a linesman grabs him. The clip ends with Costello still grabbling with the netminder, and Beaulieu still wrestling with Brown. Fun

For a line brawl it doesn't get much better than this, several fights, a couple decent ones, lots of dislike on display, great stuff. Fun

This was also going on during the brawl, however it was mainly MacInnis keeping the Admiral out of the action. It may not have been Stern, but appeared to be #7 on tape. There were very few, if any punches, however they dropped the gloves and had a decent wrestling match for around two minutes.

While you probably don't see the entire fight safe to say it was a draw since 100% of what we do see is wrestling.

Draw Fun

While the fight itself was nothing great, it pitted a goalie against a skater for the majority of the brawl. This really adds to the overall atmosphere of what is going on here. There were punches exchanged at the beginning as well as when Bakovic re-entered the action along the boards. In the end though, no damage done in what was probably the 3rd ring of the circus.

As described above, this started with a cheap crosscheck. There was too much interference from other players and officials to score it a fair fight, although both were willing.

This one never really gets going and there's interference the entire time so anything that happened was moot, draw.

This was probably the fourth ring of this circus. Mainly wrestling, but Brown did have a takedown in the middle that gives him a narrow win.

The was a decent fight once it got going, there was some wrestling but then the two opened up with both landing before Brown scores a flash knockdown, Beaulieu pops back up and is actually landing some blows as others get involved so I'm calling it a narrow win Brown but it's unfair due to others getting involved before the fight is over.

Byron Lomow decisive win Fun

Lomow is just ripping shots with both hands and using Veilleux's head as a speed bag knocking him senseless and all but out, give him credit for staying on his feet but only Lomow easing up saved him from being KO'ed, decisive win Lomow.
