A disappointing fight because it just never gets going.

Langdon opens with a right hook to the side of the head. After that there is a long dance typical for Langdon fights where they tie up each other and try occasional punch. It's difficult to tell exactly whether many punches connect or not. I think most of them fall just short of target. It hardly matters anyway because there's no damage done.

The fight ends after Peters lands a straight right on the head, loses his balance and goes down. Knowing Peters, he may well have gone down on purpose. It doesn't really matter in this case because it never looks like anything other than a draw.

Long fight with not much happening other than dodged punches. It looks like Peters lands about two solid rights early, very hard to say however. Other than those possible punches, it's an even bout.

Peters didn't drop his gloves first when Langdon did and grabbed him, but finally did and they went at it. It was a fairly long bout but not exciting at all. They had each other tied up well and had trouble to really land anything. In the end Peters lost his balance, they went down and linesmen got in. Draw in a disappointing fight.

Craig Rivet clear win Fun

A big scrum starts in front of the Montreal net. Out of this comes a fight as Adam Mair and Craig Rivet skate away from the other players. Rivet decides to start punching. Mair ducks a left but Rivet keeps the rights coming. Mair takes several rights while trying to avoid being hit. Mair still gets tagged with some rights as he waits for the chance to respond. He never gets the opportunity as the linesmen come in early to break them up much to Mair's displeasure.

Rivet landed the only punches in the fight to pick up the win.

Adam Mair and Craig Rivet pair off after the whistle during some pushing and shoving. A linesman stays with them but Mair and Rivet drift out to open ice so the linesman decides to let them go. Mair and Rivet lose their gloves except for Rivet's right glove. They stay locked up in close with each other for a bit. Mair tries to work his left free but in doing so, allows Rivet to get his right loose. Rivet drops his glove and rifles away seven consecutive right hands, landing three as Mair leans away, trying to avoid them. The linesmen step in at that point and then fight is ended. Mair wants to keep going though and tries to get back at Rivet but the linesmen keep Mair from throwing anything and getting loose and the two are separated. Short fight that didn't really get going. Rivet landed the only punches but landed them well and the linesmen broke it up before Mair could even throw a punch of his own.

This was an odd fight. The men paired off during a scrum. Mair couldn't get an arm free to punch. Rivet tossed a number of rights at him. He missed a punch and landed a decent blow. He missed a punch and landed a decent shot. He missed a blow, landed a solid punch, and missed a right. The refs stopped the contest.

I rate this as a clear win for Rivet. He landed all the punches and the last one that connected landed with some pop.

As they skate away from the scrum where this fight started, they are tied up for some time. Then Rivet gets his right hand free and starts working Mair over. Mair doesn't respond, probably counting on dodging the punches and waiting for an opportunity to fight back. He fails on both counts. Rivet lands several punches including a good one to the head. Before Mair has a chance to come back, the refs barge in and try breaking it up. Mair is furious about it but he is one against the 2 of them plus Rivet who is well up on the fight and doesn't exactly yell for more action.

This one is spoiled by the refs. They should have allowed Mair a chance to come back before "rescuing" him.

These two go after a scrum at the Montreal net. They hug their way into the clear, and Rivet has Mair tied up nicely. Rivet explodes on Mair with a bunch of rights and the refs have to step in. Mair is visibly upset, I believe because of the way Rivet was holding his jersey so he couldn't punch.

Rivet unloaded on Mair with a series of right uppercuts. Nothing big landed, but the linesmen decided to jump in to help Mair, who was not appreciative because he wanted to have a chance to fight back.

Rivet lands only punches, Mair doesn't even throw one. Mair was basically turned around
and Rivet was throwing punches so linesmen quickly jumped in. Win Rivet.
