Chris Neil clear win Fun
7
Chris Neil and Garnet Exelby dangle the gloves at each other before dropping them. They come together then and Neil lands a short right. Exelby throws two overhand lefts, landing one to the side of the head before Neil lands a left to the helmet, then Exelby lands a left to the helmet. Neil misses a long left and after Exelby lands a short left, Exelby misses a left while Neil lands a right to the top of the helmet. Exelby then lands a left before Neil lands another right to the top of the helmet. Neil throws two rights and connects on one to the helmet as Exelby takes a moment to get himself set. Then Exelby misses a sweeping right, causing him to go way off balance. Neil lands a right to the side of the head but then falls to his knees missing a right as Exelby regains his footing while missing a sweeping left over the top. Neil gets back up and lands a right to the helmet, then has his own helmet fall off. They wrestle briefly and Exelby misses a right before missing another right while Neil lands a straight right to the jaw. They stand from each other with Exelby missing a right and then Neil shakes his elbow pad off. Neil misses a straight left and then lands a left while Exelby lands a left as well. Exelby misses a left before Neil misses a left and then Exelby throws two rights, connecting with one. Neil misses a right as Exelby stands back and afterwards, Neil misses two lefts. Neil then lands a right underneath to the face, then misses a right as Exelby misses a left. Exelby misses a right and gets in close on Neil who lands a short right after. Neil then lands two lefts to the helmet and they wrestle down to the ice. Good tilt. They didn't stand back and trade, they were in closer to each other but still unloading with punches, not doing too much wrestling. Neil was the aggressor, he was more active and landed more punches while having more control of this tilt. Win goes to Neil.

Chris Neil clear win Fun

This a long, offensive-minded and hard-fought battle.

The outcome is never in doubt because Neil is always in control, forcing Exelby to fight from defensive position. Over the course of the fight, Neil lands a lot of punches, including 5 good ones. He gets Exelby with a short right squarely on the face, then a straight right to the chin, another similar right, glancing left to the left side of the face and finally a left hook on the left side of the head. Exelby's only good punch is a straight right to the chin which stings Neil but doesn't stop him for longer than a fraction of a second.

Even though Exelby comes remote second in this fight, he deserves a lot of credit for always trying to do his best and never bailing out. Always in a difficult situation, he throws many punches of his own and denies Neil a decisive win by fighting on until the very end which comes when they wrestle each other to the ice.

There both throwing but Neil is landing alot of bombs flat on the face. Exelby ties Neil up but Neil still lands a bunch to the face and at the end Neil ends up on top.

Zdeno Chara narrow win Fun
6
For some reason, Lessard goes after Chara who after a bit of wrestling throws a series of big rights, connecting with Lessard time after time. The first one lands on the body but the rest are all to the head. Lessard gets cut over his eye so badly that he'll have to go for repairs straight after the fight.

You have to admire Lessard for the way he takes the punches. These punches come from the biggest player in the NHL, they are clean and delivered with full force. Yet Lessard takes all this punishment extremely well and it's not immediately obvious how badly hurt he is. Not only that, but he comes up with a series of his own lefts. Chara decides to hold back counting on his long left arm keeping Lessard away from him. However, one of Lessard's punches does connect and Chara falls down backwards, with Lessard trying to press advantage by jumping on top of him.

The initial impression is that Lessard drops Chara with a good punch to the head, but a closer look reveals that he just connects with the base of his neck causing Chara lose his balance. For this reason I still give it to Chara because on the punch count he ends up miles ahead of Lessard.

Zdeno Chara clear win Fun
5
With under a minute left in the game, Francis Lessard bumps with Zdeno Chara. They grab onto each other and drop the gloves. Chara misses a right and they grapple along the boards. Chara then gets his right loose and Lessard falls down. Lessard starts throwing though, gets up, and continues trading with Chara. In all, Chara throws six rights and lands three as Lessard throws five lefts, landing one and Chara goes down soon after. Lessard goes down on top and throws two lefts, landing one before he's pulled off of Chara by the linesmen. Lessard then goes off the ice, leaking pretty badly. There's blood on the ice and on Chara as he goes off too. Short but decent scrap. Win to Chara for landing more punches.
