| Square off, and Fedoruk decides to switch and go lefty, and it pays off with a great straight left that rocks Peters. Fedoruk comes over the top and misses with a right, and Peters wakes up with a jab that misses and a big right that topples Fedoruk. Fedoruk gets up and they crash into the net, and both players' helmets are now off. They wrestle along the boards and not much happens until Peters gets a left jab in while pinning Fedoruk along the boards. Peters then takes two huge swings with his right hand and "loses" his balance. |

| As they square off, Fedoruk leaps in and surprises Peters with a nice straight left, snapping his head back. Peters is stunned for a moment and drops his head, which works out well for him because Fedoruk misses his follow-up right. Peters lands a right, Fedoruk begins to fall and Peters catches him with another one. Peters misses a right as they stand back up, and Fedoruk slams him into the net. Mostly grappling, then Peters pulls Fedoruk to the side and leaves him open. Peters lands a left, then another one that actually ends up as more of an open-handed slap than anything. Fedoruk ducks under a wild swing by Peters. Peters with another wild one that lands on Fedoruk's upper back, and then he falls down suspiciously to end the fight. Fedoruk lands a beauty at the beginning, Peters lands a few more punches overall but other than that, not much went down here. |

| They go at it and Fedoruk pops a quick left in that connects and surprises Peters. Peters ducks his head and avoids a right from Fedoruk. They get in close and Fedoruk rips Peters' helmet off but when he's doing that Peters fires 2 rights that connect and send Fedoruk down. They get back up and Peters has lost his helmet. They skate into the goal crease right up against the Sabres net. They grapple and the linesmen move the net out of the way and Fedoruk's helmet tumbles off. They do some more grappling as they go near the boards as fedoruk tries to throw some lefts but Peters ties him up. Peters switches to the left and connects with 2 lefts. Peters then throws 2 hard rights that miss Fedoruk and causes Peters to lose his balance and fall and Fedoruk tumbles down on top of him. |

| fedoruk gets a left in early and peters comes back with a right and they both hit the deck, fedoruk pushes peters up against the net, peters switches hands and gets a left in and then it looks like he may have slapped fedoruk lol, then he throws some rights that miss and puts himself off balance and they go down |

| Fight starts in front of the net and then ends up behins the net. Mostly in tight at the beginning then Peters lands a bomb of a left as he has Fedoruk up against the glass. Peteres then losses his balance which is why i saay draw. |

| Fedoruk atteint Peters au visage avec une gauche au début, l'envoyant sur la glace. Mais Peters se relève rapidement et frappe durement Fedoruk avec une droite, Fedoruk semble presque s'écrouler au sol. Ensuite, il reste plus en défensive, il tente de se protéger. À la fin, Peters décoche une droite qui manque la cible, c'est alors qu'il reste ouvert et donc facile à atteindre mais avant que Fedoruk donne un coup de poing, Peters se laisse tomber sur la glace. |

Jan 3, 2007 13:31 ET | This is too funny, Roenick got highsticked not once but twice at the same shift, neither of them were called for penalties. When he recieved the last highstick, thats where he skated past by a ref. I don't know if he did this or not, but I think he spitted small amounts of blood at him. The best part of all was when he skated to the Flyers bench and threw a waterbottle at some random ref (good aim too), he started mouthing off and his face looked UGLY. After the game, it led up to another famous interview from JR. "NHL WAKE UP", "Look at me I'm a gargoyle", "It's a joke" LOL | Fun

Players are fighting for the puck along the boards. Gagne takes a run at Hecht who doesn't appreciate it. Hecht pushes Gagne and gives him a little cross check. They drop the gloves and come together. The 2 get in tight and immediately fall to the ice.
Draw no punches were thrown as they fell too quickly. |

| Simon Gagne and Jochen Hecht are battling for the puck late in the game and Gagne goes in with a high hit on Hecht, clipping him in the face. Hecht takes exception and crosschecks Gagne in the back of the head. Gagne turns to Hecht as he drops the gloves and they grab onto each other. Hecht gets in close and misses a right as Gagne drops the gloves. Tony Amonte almost gets involved with the fight but other players arrive too and Amonte stays out. Gagne and Hecht then wrestle each other to the ice and land awkwardly. They get up to their knees but the linesmen enter in and stop the fight from going further. Draw in an awful fight between these two non-fighters. |
