| Darcy Hordichuk and Ryan VandenBussche come together and decide to go at it in front of the benches. After getting a hold of the other's jersey, they start firing away punches, VandenBussche exclusively and steadily throwing lefts while Hordichuk alternates between rights and lefts. In all, VandenBussche throws twenty-five lefts and lands fourteen while also knocking Hordichuk's helmet off right at the beginning. Meanwhile Hordichuk throws three lefts, landing one, then throws nine rights, landing three before landing three lefts and then throws four rights, landing two, then misses three lefts after. VandenBussche ceases throwing and Hordichuk throws four rights, landing two before missing a right while VandenBussche lands a left. They wrap their arms around each other to get in tight and then VandenBussche misses a left. The linesmen step in afterwards and break it up there. VandenBussche is cut and bleeding around his left eye, wiping the blood off with his jersey. Great fight between these two smallish heavyweight enforcers. VandenBussche and Hordichuk just unleashed punches on each other in this one. The fight was a long, furious, exchange at first and then it slowed down a little bit before it ended. In my eyes, VandenBussche got the better of it, landing more frequently than Hordichuk. |

| These two will never collaborate on a book called "Defensive Strategies in Hockey Fights". Awesome toe-to-toe scrap. Vandenbussche seemed in control early in the fight but Hordichuk came back and finished well with a couple good ones. I thought Vandenbussche threw and landed more but Hordichuk landed the slightly better blows including one that cut Vandenbussche. |

Darcy Hordichuk and Ryan VandenBussche drop the gloves just in front of the two teams benches. They grab a Hold of each other and VandenBussche gets the left hand going straight away, he lands about four left hands on Hordichuk one of which knocks Hordichuk's helmet flying off. Hordichuk then gets the right hand going and they go toe to toe with each other.
Hordichuk switches between hands while VandenBussche stays with rights. Near the end of the toe to toe exchange, Hordichuk lands a few jabbing right hands that bust VandenBussche's nose and his cheek. They then come together and hold onto each other and the lino's step in to end the fight. Hordichuk was also marked up after this exciting fight.
Very good fight with both guys going toe to toe. I think VandenBussche edges this fight as he lands the better quality punches.

| Both players fire a ton of punches in a short amount with Vandy missing alot of big lefts just behind Hordi's head and Hordy throwing some chopping jabs at Vandy. Both players end up getting cuts on the nose in a excellent bout. |

I'd say this fight and the Peat-Stock fight were among the best T2Ts we've seen in a long time.
Both fighters are a little bloodied after this confrontation where about 50 punches were thrown overall in a matter of 25 seconds...Vandenbussche lands some pretty strong lefts and Hordichuk fights back with rights. I'd love to see these two drop the gloves this season for another round, if possible. |

Un de mes combats préférés parque justement il y a deux de mes bagarreurs préférés.
Quand la caméra était rendu sur les deux joueurs, ceux-ci commençaient déjà à se frapper. Vandy avec que des gauches et Hordichuk des droites pour la majorité du combat et quelques gauches pour le dernier quart. Anyway, les coups de poings de Vandenbussche ont atteint la cible plus que son adversaire la atteint lui. Nombre incroyable de coup de poings lancés au cours de ce combat. En moins de 15 secondes, les deux pugilistes étaient à bout de souffle. Le meilleur combat de l'année. |

| Great fight as you would expect from these two, one of the fights of the year. Looked like Vandenbussche was getting the better of Hordichuk but Hordichuk finished strong and landed a couple good rights and cut Vandenbussche. I think he did enough to get a draw. |
