 BattleshipRules 12876 fight reviews Mar 8, 2014 17:48 ET | Mick Vukota narrow win | Fun 3 |
This was a short fight and well below average. Vukota landed an average right hand. Rychel missed several rights. Mick landed a couple of average lefts. Warren landed a decent right and missed a left. Vukota missed a punch and the men fell to the ice.
I rate this as a narrow win for Vukota. Mick landed three average blows and it was good enough to earn the win. The blows did minimal damage and there was no clear-cut edge. |
SarcasticPillow 20121 fight reviews 144 fight logs Jan 6 11:40 ET | Mick Vukota narrow win | Fun 3 |
Right at centre ice following a faceoff, Warren Rychel and Mick Vukota drop their gloves. They square off and then grab on with the left. Vukota misses a right and Rychel misses three rights as he can't get his hand free. Vukota then changes hands, landing a left with Rychel leaning away with his head down afterwards. Vukota misses a left and then changes hands while Rychel changes hands too. Rychel raises his head and misses a left that gets him turned around while Vukota gets in close. Vukota throws two rights and lands one as Rychel falls down. Bad fight. Vukota with the slight win. |

Vukota lands only punch/punches and gets Rychel down. Not a very good fight though. |

 BattleshipRules 12876 fight reviews May 16, 2014 17:47 ET | Marc Potvin clear win | Fun 5 |
This was the first of the two fights in the game between the two. Potvin missed a punch and landed two average left hands. Pilon landed a decent right and a decent left. Marc landed a solid blow, missed a punch, and landed a solid connect. There was wrestling into the Islanders bench as the refs stopped the bout.
I rate this as a clear win for Potvin. He landed more blows and his shots were more substantial. Pilon's blows were decent and Marc had a significant edge in power. |

A pretty good exchange of lefts early on, Potvin seemed to land a few more even though Pilon had his shield still on. After this they wrestled at the Islanders-bench. Scapinello jumped into the bench to break them up. |

 BattleshipRules 12876 fight reviews May 25, 2014 11:13 ET | Tom Kurvers decisive win | Fun 4 |
This was a feeble performance by Granato. Kurvers worked him over on this occasion. Tom missed two rights. Tony landed a decent right hand. Kurvers landed a solid blow and an average punch. He landed two pretty good rights and the refs stopped the contest.
I rate this as a decisive win for Kurvers. He had Granato in a bad spot at the end and his punches were with solid pop. |

Kurvers started hammer away at Granato who quickly got saved by the linesmen. Granato reluctantly dropped his gloves, Kurvers the aggressor here. |

Granato gets hammered with a few rights by Tom Kurvers of all people, now that's embarrassing. |

 BattleshipRules 12876 fight reviews May 16, 2014 17:51 ET | Marc Potvin narrow win | Fun 5 |
This was the rematch and Pilon gave a better effort this time around. Potvin missed a punch. Rich missed a blow, landed a decent connect, and landed an average right. He missed two punches. Marc landed an average blow, missed a punch, and landed a solid connect. He missed two punches.
Pilon landed an average blow and a decent left. Potvin missed a punch and landed an average left. He missed a punch and landed a decent right. He landed an average punch and missed a shot. He landed two average blows. The refs stopped the fight.
I rate this as a narrow win for Potvin. Pilon landed a handful of moderately effective blows. I thought Potvin landed with just a bit better pop and connected with a few more shots along the way. |
