Hughes and Lauwers square off and Lauwers lands a quick left jab to the jaw as they come together. They grab on and Hughes throws 4 rights that land to the back of the head. Lauwers throws a big right, but Hughes dodges it. Hughes comes back with 3 rights to the side of the head. Lauwers comes back with a hard right that lands squarely to the nose, but Hughes responds with another right to the head. They go into a spin cycle before Lauwers scores the take down.
Clear win for Hughes here as I felt he threw more and landed better. Hughes seemed to keep Lauwers on his toes for most of this fight. |

Hibbeler and Murphy are paired off out of a scrum and with no linesmen around, they decide to make it official and throw off the gloves. They come together and grab on and Hibbeler lands a quick right to the side of Murphy's face. Hibs lands another right, this time to the back of the head. Murphy tries a right, but ends up hitting Hibbeler in the shoulder. Hibbeler falls to the ice with Murphy on top, but Hibbeler rolls over Murphy and he ends up on top. That was more entertaining than the fight.
Narrow win for Hibbeler here as he landed better and was able to make it through this fight unscathed. |
