Craig Coxe narrow win Fun
7
This was a good scrap. Stewart and Coxe were gladiators on the ice. Craig landed a decent blow and a body punch. He missed a shot and landed a body blow. Allan missed a punch and landed a decent blow. Coxe missed a punch and landed a solid blow. He landed a decent punch and missed a right. He missed a blow and landed a decent shot. He landed a body punch and a partial connect.

Stewart was more economical with his blows in the fight. He landed a solid shot. Craig missed a blow and landed a decent shot. He missed a punch. Allan landed a solid blow and an average left. Coxe landed a decent punch and a body blow. He landed a decent shot and a solid punch. He landed a partial connect and a decent blow.

Craig missed two punches. Stewart landed an average blow and missed a punch. Coxe missed a few punches and landed a partial connect. Allan landed a partial connect and a solid shot. Craig landed a decent blow and missed two punches. He landed a decent shot. Stewart landed a partial connect. The refs stopped the contest.

I rate this as a narrow win for Coxe. Dale Arnold gave a bit of a homer call for Stewart. He acted like this was a beating that Stewart administered. I thought Allan landed with a bit better pop, but Craig landed some powerful shots as well. Coxe landed several more punches in the fight. Stewart was game and gave a great effort, but I think he came up a bit short in securing a draw.

Tough fight to review as Coxe landed more but i think Stewart landed the best punches of the fight, i give the edge to Coxe for outlanding his opponent could not argue with a draw call either in a good tilt.

Very nice review, as always Battleship. See what you mean about the blow-by-blow account by Homer Byus, or whatever that guy's name is- he's howling like Rick Jeannerette calling a Rob Ray fight: "Annnnd, here we GO, we've got a fight, Allan Stewart and Craig Coxe!..... Stewie giving away nine inches in height and forty-seven pounds in weight, but the Fighting Little Scot is one tough customer, lemme tell ya!... Coxe with a couple of feeble slaps to the back of the helmet...... another useless shot that only hits the helmet...... and WAH-OOOOOOO! STEWART with a BOMB rrrrright to Coxe's beak!... Coxe paws back futilely to the back of the head, again......STEWART with ANOTHER murderous shot to the nose.......STEWART with a Joe Frazier left hook to the ol' beak......... Coxe (why's he spell it with an 'e', anyhow?) looks like a kitten swatting a ball of yarn...... STEWART with a train-crash LEFT once AGAIN to the old proboscis!! Coxe looking like he's about to burst into tears!!!
STEWART ONCE AGAIN with a WICKED shot right on the beezer!!! Coxe looking to the linesmen for help!! STEWART with a wrecking-ball blast right on the old bazoo! ......Coxe swoons to the ice as the linesmen rush in to save his sorry Fredericton ass from any further destruction, and a ONE-SIDED MAASACRE by ALLAN STEWART, 'The Year of the Cat', WOW-OOOOOOOO!!

Hahaha. I love the Year of the Cat reference. The homer was good ol Dale Arnold. He went on from doing Maine Mariners games to calling Bruins games with Gord Kluzak during the Jumbo Joe era. Al Stewart: "Time passages. Buy me a ticket to the last train home tonight."Reply

This was a wrestlingmatch behind the net with a few weak punches then Bolduc tackles Vautour to the ice. Should be upgraded to a fight.Reply
