Derek Dorsett narrow win Fun
5
Ryan Reaves gets tangled up with Derek Dorsett and Cam Janssen tries to get involved. Dorsett stays focused on Reaves though and they both drop the gloves and engage one another. After they grab on, Craig Rivet jumps in and grabs Reaves from behind but the linesmen soon get Rivet to let go. Dorsett throws four rights over the top, three of them connect too. Reaves just absorbs the blows and gets his right out of his jersey. Dorsett goes to adjust his hold but lands a left before doing so. Dorsett prods Reaves a little as he just remains idle but then they each throw simultaneously. Both guys are able to land their right and Dorsett prods a bit more afterwards, knocking off Reaves' helmet after Reaves is short with a right. There's a pause and Dorsett misses an over the top right as Reaves waits. Reaves throws a few jersey jabs and then misses an overhand right as Dorsett leans away and out of range. Dorsett then counters with a missing right and Reaves also misses a right after. Dorsett prods again and misses another right before there's a lengthy pause as Reaves is idle once again. Then Reaves lands a right which jars Dorsett's helmet and Reaves checks his hand. They pause again and Reaves jersey jabs before Dorsett lands a right but Reaves counters with a landing right of his own which kncoks Dorsett's helmet off his head. Reaves lands a right but puts himself in closer to Dorsett with it and Dorsett counters with two over the top rights, one of them landing. They pause again for a while and Reaves lands a short right before pausing again. It's in that pause that the linesmen step in and break them up. Decent fight and a nice win for Dorsett against the bigger Reaves for landing more shots.

Wow! Did not expect that. Dorsett got some good shots in and controlled the whole fight. Clear win for Dorsett. He seemed to have Reaves locked out even though Reaves had his arm free of his jersey.

Long fight. I thought Reaves would hammer Dorsett but Dorsett scored an upset win here, he controlled the fight and definitely outlanded Reaves. Narrow or clear win for Dorsett.

Vladimir Sobotka clear win Fun
4
Vladimir Sobotka finishes his check on Kris Russell. Russell is not pleased and this escalates into a fight between the two men. Sobotka comes out throwing immediately. Sobotka lands five punches and gets the helmet of Russell off. The two start grappling and Sobotka shakes off his elbow pad. Russell throws a body blow. Sobotka misses with a punch and gets off balance. Russell tries to wrestle Sobotka down but they both end up going to the ice.

Sobotka did the only throwing and landing in this fight for the clear win.

Kris Russell and Vladimir Sobotka drop the gloves and Russell misses a pair of rights before Sobotka comes back with four rights, landing two. Russell's helmet and visor comes off then and they pause. Russell misses a single right to the body and Sobotka misses a right while changing his position on Russell in tight. Sobotka soon stands back though and misses a right which gets him bent over. Russell tries pushing Sobotka down but Sobotka slips out from underneath Russell, causing him to hit the deck. The linesmen get in and break it up before anymore can happen. Edge Sobotka for landing the only punches in a boring fight.

Sobotka checks Russell hard along the boards and Russell takes exception to this and goes after Sobotka and Sobotka obliges dropping the gloves. As soon as they come together Sobotka opens up his right and starts swinging at Russell, with a fair number of the punches connecting. Sensing he is getting beat Russell graps a hold of Sobotka and they get their hands tied up and no punches are getting thrown, mainly because of a helmet stuck between then. Russell tries to go to the body, but that has minimal sucess and they go back to wrestling where they both fall to the ice and the fight is over.

Sobotka landed a far greater number of punches and always seemed to be in control of the fight. Clear win Sobotka
