| Soryal got a bit of a jump and landed some punches while Olson was grabbed by some Whalers' player. I wouldn't count those early shots but even without them it looked like Soryal landed a bit more for the edge. Edge Soryal, long fight but not very exciting. |

Nathan Lawson comes out of his net to play the puck and Soryal runs into him. Olson comes after Soryal behind the goal. They drop the gloves and clinch. Soryal removes Olson's helmet and tosses some short, weak lefts to the head. He lands one of two. Two more miss and then he lands two more light punches that do little more than mess up Olson's hair. They move toward the corner to the left of the goal. Olson lands a right uppercut to the body and then another. Soryal leans away from an overhand attempt. Olson can't reach Soryal as he tries again to go over the top. Soryal wheels and appears to land a right to the head. They spin in the corner and each misses a right. Olson get in two more body shots and fans on a roundhouse right. One of the officials partially obscures the view as Olson goes to the body again. They grapple for fifteen seconds without throwing so the linesmen make their move. Olson cocks his right as they encroach but holds fire.
Draw. This scrap was mostly body punches and noogies. It was far from entertaining and too close, in my opinion, to call a winner. Olson was more aggressive in the fight but Soryal never really got tagged by anything resembling an effective punch. |

| Round 2. Garbage fight. Soryal didn't want to open up as usual and mostly just tried to keep his head away. Olson was more active but didn't really land anything of significance. Clear as day draw. |

Newbury knocks Joe Pereira off his skates with a big hit in the corner to the right of the Bridgeport goal. Reese, following the play, gets his stick into Newbury and Newbury turns around to drop the gloves with him and grab on. Newbury misses a right and lands one to the ear. Reese tries to lean away from the third punch. He's off balance as the punch appears to catch him in the upper body. Reese falls and Newbury misses a final attempt as he's falling on top of him.
Narrow win for Newbury. It's hard to see on the clip how well the punches land but it looked like he got in a couple in this short scrap before Reese fell to the ice. |

| Couture and Bidlevskii start a bit of a shoving match infront of goal and finally drop the gloves,Couture lands a couple of weak rights early with Bidlevskii trying some body punches,Couture then starts to take over landing a bunch but leaves himself open and Bidlevskii throws 2 punches with the second one landing flush in Couture's face busting open his nose who then leans away not wanting any more,nearly a decisive win but still another good AHL fight for Bidlevskii |

| Nice little fight. Couture gets in some unanswered rights but then Bidlevskii responds with two solid rights of his own and his second punch hurts Couture. Couture turns away after that and the linesmen have to come in as Couture is obviously done. Gotta give Bidlevskii decisive win here. Couture was bloodied pretty well. |

| Nightingale fires away four rights and gets the takedown. Doesn't look like either of his punches landed well, maybe a couple hit Day on the helmet and the rest miss at all. Edge Nightingale in a brief and nothing fight. |
