This was a long marathon bout with lots of punches thrown. Both men struggled with accuracy at times. Although both guys landed several solid blows, most of the connects were decent shots or partial connects. There was little difference between the combatants at the end. It was a good fight with sustained action. I see no reason to disagree with the consensus decision of a draw.

Long fight here. Players from both teams battle for the puck in the corner. Kyte comes in from behind and crosschecks Hunter in the back, clearly seeking a fight with him. Hunter turns around and they go at it. First Kyte has Hunter in a headlock and it looks like the fight will just ebb out. But Hunter throws a left and right and manages to get out of the headlock. Both throw lefts before they switch hands. Kyte gets Hunter against the boards and throws left and right uppercuts. Hunter answers with some rights and gets away from the boards. They try to regroup and wrestle for a while. They are visibly tired as their punches have no sting in them. Hunter pushes Kyte against the boards but Kyte fights back until the linesmen intervenes. Good and long fight. Both threw lame punches in the second half of the fight as they must have been exchausted.

Both guys threw a ton of shots and landed some big punches. Great bout between two of the 80's better fighters. Too close to call a win either way, Draw.

Started out as a hugging match, then became a dandy and a marathon fight. Both guys had their flurries and controlled certain portions of the fight. As others have said, it was too close to call.

One of my all time favorite fights! No need to describe it, SarcasticPillow with another fantastic description. Agree with everyone who calls it a draw. This was a long war that was even, with both guys throwing and landing.

Players meet up with the officials and are having some words near centre ice when Al MacInnis and Laurie Boschman bump into each other. Boschman and MacInnis then drop their gloves and they quickly grab onto each other in tight. MacInnis just wrestles the smaller Boschman down to the ice and tries to get his helmet off once there. The linesmen pounce in on top of them to break it up, although it takes them a long time to pry the two apart. Nothing happened here since MacInnis took Boschman down once the gloves came off.
