Behn Wilson clear win Fun

Great fight between two veteran enforcers here. These two have a few words and then drop the gloves. They square off briefly and then come together. Both try to get the right going and McGill is able to catch Wilson with a couple. McGill tries to keep it up as they both continue to trade. Wilson then lands a good right as both begin to let it all out. McGill keeps firing, but comes up a little short. Wilson then lands 2 solid shots and McGill starts to hang on. Wilson then goes with uppercuts, landing a few as he begins to take over the fight.

McGill just holds on here as Wilson tries to find a home for his right hand. McGill tries a left, but that just opens him up for more punishment from Big Behn. Wilson lands a few overhands and McGill tries to tie him up again. Wilson let's up and McGill tries to come at him with a few more rights, but Wilson fires off a few and catches McGill with another good shot. Both fighters try to sneak in some shots and then McGill tries to hold onto Wilson. Wilson still wants at McGill and even tries to headbutt him as the linesmen get in.

Great fight with both fighters throwing a lot and landing some good shots. I thought McGill had scored some points early, but Wilson landed the much better blows down the stretch to win this one clearly.

This was a good fight. Big Behn missed two blows and landed two average rights. McGill missed a punch, landed a couple of decent shots, and missed a blow. He missed a shot and landed a decent connect. He landed an average punch and a solid blow.

Wilson missed a shot, landed a solid connect, and missed a punch. Bob missed a punch and landed an average connect. He missed a blow and landed a decent right. Behn landed a solid punch, a body shot, and three solid uppercuts. He landed an average blow and a solid connect.

McGill landed an average punch and missed three blows. Wilson missed a punch and landed a decent blow. He missed a shot and landed two solid punches. Bob missed a punch and landed a decent connect. Behn missed two rights and landed a light head butt as the refs were breaking up the contest.

I rate this as a clear win for Wilson. McGill landed several moderately effective blows. Big Behn landed a number of power shots in the fight and won the bout by a comfortable margin.

This was a very good fight. They both dropped 'em in mid ice and went at it right away. McGill started great as he got a good grip of Wilson's arms and then went on to connect with nice straight rights to the face of Wilson. Wilson managed to free his right arm and nailed McGill with a nice right, they then traded punches in a short T2T exchange, both landed but Wilson landed considerably better. One great uppercut rocked the head of McGill who at this point was clearly stunned. McGill tried to hold on while Wilson continued to hammer away with his rights. McGill managed to contain Wilson from landing as well as he did during their T2T exchange. At the end it looked like Wilson tried to headbutt McGill before throwing the last punch of the fight. Wilson just worked himself into frenzy in this one and at one point looked like a caged animal. Good job by McGill early but he couldn't keep up for the entire fight, still taking these shots like that gives him extra cred in my book.

Great scrap here between one of the meanest and best hockey fighters to ever lace ´em up, Behn Wilson, and one of the gamest and most fearless in Bob McGill.
The fight takes place at center ice in Chicago Stadium, where the crowd always loved a good scrap. It appears that McGill is the one who challenges Wilson, who is more than ready to accept the invitation to dance. McGill gets in a number of good right hands on Wilson in the early going, which really only serves to get Wilson angry and Wilson, whose stamina is vastly underrated, owns the second half of the fight, as he uses his tremendous strength to get his right arm free from McGill´s "death grip", and he catches McGill in the face with a number of right hooks. McGill is still trying to throw and and he gets in a few good licks on Behn, one of which makes Wilson´s helmet come flying off. But Wilson has clearly taken over the fight at this point and McGill wisely is doing his best to tie up Wilson with some help from the zebras, who by now seem to be genuinely concerned for the players´ safety and are trying to separate them as best they can. Eventually they succeed. Wilson then tries to headbutt McGill when the linesmen are already in between them, which only goes to show how mean Behn Wilson could be when he smelled blood in his prime. Somewhere between a narrow and a clear win for Behn Wilson.

Awesome fight. They just traded right hands, McGill landed more early and was winning, but Wilson took over and landed the harder punches. Edge Wilson.

Great back and forth fight with McGill winning the early stages but Wilson comes back and really lays some hard shots on McGill to take the win in a closely contested and excellent scrap!

This is what Bob McGill had to say about Behn wilson in the interview with McGill on the Fried Chicken Hockey Fight Site:

"...as for behn wilson, this guy was a tank. it's his opinion that wilson was the scariest guy in the league without question. you could hit him and he could NOT be hurt - no matter what you hit him with. his punches were hard, but look the hell out if he got mad in a fight. his eyes would roll back in his head and it's time to get out of the way! without a doubt,a fiercesome, dangerous opponent when in the mood to hurt somebody."

Behn Wilson clear win Fun

Wilson got off to an excellent start against McGill during the line brawl. He scored a knockdown with a good right hand. Bob got back to his feet quickly. Behn got him at the end of his punches and landed three consecutive blows with pretty good pop.

McGill tried to tie up Wilson's right arm, but Behn muscled right through the grip and landed very effective shots. Bob tried to come back with a couple of rights of his own, but Behn had a lockdown grip on his right arm. The punches fell short of the target. McGill threw a left hand, but the punch missed the mark.

Wilson continued to throw rights. Behn landed a good right and a pretty good follow up blow. Then, he missed with a couple of shots. McGill got inside and crowded Behn. This mitigated the effects of Wilson's blows somewhat. Behn missed with a couple of blows.

The cameras went away from the fight and focused for a time on the other skirmishes. Behn landed a solid right hand. Then, he missed with a follow up blow. Wilson appeared to be arm weary. McGill was holding him off at this point and the refs quickly stepped in to stop the bout.

I rate this as a clear win for Wilson. Behn landed several good blows and smacked McGill around pretty well. However, Bob had his bearings at the end of the bout, so I don't consider him to be in a hopeless position. The fight was so one-sided that I can understand the decisive win calls. Whatever the verdict is technically rated, Behn gave McGill a sound beating in the fight.

Behn Wilson decisive win Fun

This fight started behind the play. When the camera gets to them they are already locked up. Wilson lands a good right that actually drops McGill to his knees. Both fighters go down momentarily, but still have a hold of each other. They both get up and it's all Wilson. He fires off a flurry of rights and catches McGill flush with a few of them. McGill just tries to hold on and weather the storm. Two more fights break out after this fight is already in progress and the camera cuts in and out between Wilson-McGill and the other scraps. They cut back and forth, and each time it appears that McGill is holding on as Wilson throws rights. The fight winds down and the linesmen get in.

Decisive win for Wilson as McGill seemed content with just containing the beast.

Round 2 and it was a one sided fight. Wilson quickly drops McGill who gets back up, but Wilson hammers him with some more good right hands and McGill just holds on. Easy win for Wilson.
