Morrison and Melnyk traded in a nice toe-to-toe spurt. Larry threw some rapid right hands. Gary went with several left hands. Melnyk landed three solid rights, missed a couple of punches, and landed a solid blow. Morrison landed four consecutive blows with solid pop and missed a couple of offerings. The men clinched and the refs stepped in to stop the fight.

Both men landed several effective punches. This fight was about as even as it gets. The guys landed about an equal number of punches and with similar impact. This was some rock em sock em action for the brief spell. It was a pretty good bout, but not a classic because the trading was for a brief spell. It was entertaining while it lasted.

it was actually Melnyk with rights, but no matter...rock 'em sock 'em! These guys threw about a million punches in 7 seconds.

Morrison with lefts and Melnyk with rights go toe-to-toe. No defense until they each stop punching and hold on for the zebras.

Very good fight as they go toe to toe for a few seconds wailing away on each other before tying up and wrestling for a bit. Too close to call as they both landed a bunch, draw.

i would like to get posters opinions on this fight; THIS IS THE BEST LEFT VS RIGHT EVEN EXCHANGE ever!!!!
--if any posters know of a better even exchange, please lmk. Also you rarely see 1 player land all his punches, and IN this fight both players do..IMO pretty amazing since they are both wearing helmets.

Behn Wilson narrow win Fun

Wilson and Park get in tight and drop the gloves about ten feet from the boards. Park has his head buried in Wilson's chest and takes a decent right to the side of the melon before the players fall to their knees. One of the Boston players (it appears to be Mike Milbury) jumps on top. Other players from both teams join the pile and the linesmen quickly move in to prevent further fireworks.

Narrow win for Wilson. This was a brief scrap but Wilson had the upper hand, connecting with a good punch.

Defensemen Behn Wilson and Brad Park get the sticks up on each other behind the play. Wilson skates away to rejoin the play when Park gives him a little whack. The Flyer immediately turns around to engage Park who refuses to back down. They drop the gloves and lock up. Wilson gets his right free and lands a right. Park goes to his knees as does Wilson. Park's teammate, Mike Milbury jumps in on his teammate's behalf. The officials pile in while the rest of the players gather and that is the end of it.

Wilson landed the only punch so he gets the win in this all too brief fight. I don't care for Mike Milbury one bit but I don't blame him for jumping in on this occasion. The 32 year old Park was certainly no slouch in the physical department but Wilson was the top fighter in the league and a dangerous one at that. Milbury didn't want to see his veteran teammate get pummeled so he made sure that didn't happen.

Quick fight. These two go at it behind the play. They come together and Park gets inside and wrestles. Wilson lands one solid right as they both go down. I'm tempted to call this a draw, but I will say narrow win for Wilson for landing the clean right.

This was a quick scrap between Wilson and Park. Brad was a brave guy who didn't back down from altercations, but he was in over his head in this instance. Park was unable to get any punches off. Behn missed with an uppercut and landed a good right hook. Wilson hauled Park down and there was immediate interference from other players and the officials.

I rate this as a narrow win for Wilson. He landed a good right hook. Because the blow was a quality punch, Behn earned the victory in my eyes. The fight was very brief and disappointing.

Park tried to tie up Wilson, going low with his head. While pushing forward Wilson threw a solid right to the side of Park's head and they both fell down. Other players quickly piled up with the fighters.

Wilson throws and lands the only blow before a Boston player comes to Parks aid ending the bout.
