Mitchell Heard grabbed Ryan Murphy and began to throw punches but was not able to get much off before Cody Sol jumped on him. Heard lost his helmet and they each fell to the ice. Heard was irate and landed a left while Sol was down. Heard got a better grip and missed a left before connecting with one to Sol's helmet. Heard landed another left while pushing Cody towards the boards. Heard switched hands and just missed a big right hand. They got in tight and Heard landed an uppercut. After a little more grappling, the linesmen then decided to step in.
This was a solid bout. Sol jumped in to defend Ryan Murphy but ended up down on the ice. Heard began to unload and landed quite a few left hands. Sol got back up but didn't throw any punches, meaning that it was only Heard throwing. Eventually Heard got tired and the linesmen jumped in.
Heard earned the narrow win here. He landed the only blows but they were not good enough to get the clear win. The fight was somewhat entertaining as a few decent punches landed but it was rather short. |

Sol Vs. Heard
Tobias Reider scores to send the Rangers ahead 7-3 and then Tom Wilson and Tyler Randell decide to get into a bit of a disagreement causing a scrum to break out along the boards. During the scrum Heard grabs an unsuspecting Ryan Murphy and gives him some glove punches. Sol see's this and jumps on the back of Heard that causes Heard to lose his helmet and both guys to fall to the ice. Heard fires off the first three left hands while Sol is on the ice, only one connects as Sol gets back to his feet and Heard fires off two right hands with neither connecting. They then remain at bay and allow the refs to step in and separate them.
Win Heard. Only punches thrown in a weak fight. |

| Sol tried to slow Heard down when he inavertently overshot Heard and ended up on his back on the ice. Heard tried to take advantage of the situation but wasn't able to. Heard threw a couple of punches that missed and then Sol got up. No damage done to either Sol or Heard. Mind you Sol should have demolished Heard but didn't. Cody, as i have said before you got to get meaner. You should not have left Heard standing. Don't let me see this again. I'm calling this one a DRAW. |
