Draw Fun
Nicolas Deslauriers and Jared Boll get into a fight early in the game. This is a rematch between the two who fought back in October of 2015. Despite the fact that they dropped the gloves inside the Anaheim zone, the two square off and make their way back to center ice before they even lock up. Eventually the two men finally grab each other and grapple as they both cock their right hands.

Boll tosses a right from underneath while Deslauriers throws two rights over the top, landing one. Boll then tags Deslauriers with a right, before missing with two more blows. They continue to grapple and Deslauriers lands a short right. Both men miss with a right. Deslauriers misses with a right from underneath before landing two rights. Boll responds with two rights of his own that connect before pulling in close with the Sabre middleweight.

Deslauriers misses with a right and they continue to grapple and spin around while cocking their fists. Boll lands a right as does Deslauriers and Boll connects again. Deslauriers misses with one while Boll lands a right. Deslauriers rushes him up against the boards and pins Boll there. He seems content to just hang on at this point and the linesmen recognize that, so they move to step in.

This was a long fight but not a particularly good one. Both men spent more time grappling than they actually did punching. Additionally they covered a lot of distance as they started at one blueline and finished at the opposite one. Each fighter employed a fair amount of caution as they tried to use tactical strategy and wait for their opportunity to strike. Unfortunately both men were a bit too cautious here. Nevertheless, they each connected with an even amount of punches, making this fight a draw.

Not that good of a fight here between these two - rating it a 5 only because of its length. After skating for about 100 feet, they finally engaged in what turned out to be "hunt and peck" action. They were both throwing ppunches, looking for an opening to land a big one, which never happened. Can't see giving either player the win in this one - decent draw.
