Milan Lucic clear win Fun
7
Milan Lucic gets in a intense and entertaining scrap with Mark Borowiecki. This is their second scrap, the last time these two fought, was in December 13 2014 when Looch was with the Bruins. Looch easily won that scrap, using his brute strength and size to his advantage over Borowiekci. This fight tonight is Lucic's first of the season and is Borocop's second. Mark's first fight was just a night ago when he took on Michael Ferland of the Calgary Flames. It was a short scrap in which Ferland won easily.

Milan Lucic stands around 6'4 and weighs over 230 pounds, and is a personal favorite of mine. He is no pushover and is a big guy who's tough as nails. Lucic is no doubt a top 5 fighter in the NHL today. He's is a power forward, really comparable to "the best power forward of all time," Cam Neely who also played on the Bruins back in the day. Lucic gets so much hate because many people say that he's a spotpicker. I personally disagree with that statement seeing as Lucic has fought many players that are regarded as true heavyweights. Players such as Raitis Ivanans, John Erskine, Colton Orr, Luke Gazdic, Jay Rosehill, Jared Boll and Chris Stewart. He also has fought players like Chris Neil, Dalton Prout, Matt Carkner, and Deryk Engelland on more that one occasion.

Mark Borowiecki, also known as Borocop, is a tough defenceman who has made a good name for himself. I personally think that his nickname Borocop, came from the defenceman Ed Jovanaski, who was known as Jovocop. Ed was a tough defenceman just like Mark and they play hard and gritty. Mark Borowiecki stands at 6'2 and weighs a little over 200 pounds. Borowiecki is playing in his fifth season and has already fought many worthy opponents. His opponents were normally middleweights and light heavies but were really skilled in hockey fighting. He has gone up against Jared Boll, Brandon Prust, Chris Thorburn, Matt Martin, Zack Kassian, Marcus Foligno and uprising Power Forward Wayne Simmonds. Borocop has proven himself to be tough, although it seems he is more tough than he is strong since he doesn't always emerge as a victor in his scraps. Nevertheless Borocop rarely backs down from a challenge and has yet to.

Almost a minute into the game, Milan Lucic takes a long shot that misses wide. The puck bounces off the boards and to the left side of the net where the Senators goalie takes it and holds onto it in his glove. Lucic comes in fast behind the net and comes together with Mark Borowiecki. Lucic roughly shoves Borocop who shoves back. They continue pushing and shoving as a linesman tries to get in between them. Lucic drops the gloves and lands a right uppercut to the body. Boro only dropped one glove and Lucic lands another body uppercut with the right hand. Boro drops his other glove and they latch on tightly. Boro throws two rights landing one that jerks Lucic's head up, who throws another right that lands to the body. They then go toe-to-toe, each of them throw five rights, Lucic landed two of his five, while Borocop landed only one. They pause for a split second as Borowiecki switches hands and continues with the lefts while Lucic is still pumping away with the rights. Borocop throws four lefts landing one of them while a Lucic is going strong throwing six rights and landing two as Borowiecki goes down to the ice and the linesman come in to break it up.

A great and entertaining fight between these two wiling combatants. Lucic once again got the victory in their second scrap together. This fight is above average and is a great fight but not a very memorable one. It had some good toe-to-toe action that was brief but still entertaining to watch.

I would go with a clear win for Lucic. Not a TKO since he didn't knock Borowiecki down with a punch and not a decisive win since, Borocop wasn't in a hopeless situation where the refs needed to save him. Lucic landed much better quality punches and easily overpowered Borowiecki at the end of the scrap. Although Borocop did hold his own and got in some good shots himself, but couldn't match up to what Lucic did to him.

Milan Lucic clear win Fun
6
First minute of the game Mark Borowiecki and Milan Lucic come together at the end of a shift and move away from a linesman that tries to get them apart. Lucic gets the gloves off as Borowiecki has a hold on Lucic's helmet. Lucic lands a right to the body and Borowiecki loses the gloves while pouncing in tight. They wrestle with Borowiecki throwing two rights and landing one that gets Lucic's head up but then Lucic gets some space from Borowiecki. They go toe-to-toe, Lucic throwing five rights and landing three (one to the body) before pausing and Borowiecki throwing five rights and landing one before switching hands. Borowiecki misses four lefts while unable to get a hold of Lucic following switching hands and ends up off balance and wildly trying to grab back on. In the meantime Lucic throws seven rights but only lands two before Borowiecki winds up falling forward to the ice. Above average scrap but not by a lot as it ended too soon. Both guys opened up and threw though. However it was Lucic who was clearly in control and getting the best of the punching. Borowiecki stood in there but didn't land as many or as well and wound up completely off balance and without a hold on Lucic late in the fight, going down to end it.

This might be the fight of the year thus far. Both landed some bombs but Lucic took and maintained control of the fight.

Decent fight with some brief toe to toe action, both are landing in the wide open exchange of rights then Lucic starts to take over landing a couple solid blows before a combination of a tug and a slip send Borowiecki down to the ice, clear win Lucic.
