Pat Maroon narrow win Fun
5
Kevin Bieksa and Pat Maroon line up and ready to fight at a faceoff but when the puck drops, Bieksa drops his stick while Maroon goes to net. Bieksa takes issue and chases Maroon, eventually blocking a shot from him. Bieksa shoves Maroon who then decides to drop the gloves. Bieksa drops one of his gloves and then throws the other glove in Maroon's direction as they square off. They slowly wade in on each other in and Maroon goes in to grab on but then leans away as Bieksa misses a left and lunges in. Bieksa can't grab on though when Maroon grabs on and Maroon throws seven rights in a row as they spin around. Maroon lands four as Bieksa just holds his left arm up to block. Bieksa then misses a right as Maroon leans away again and Bieksa finally grabs on. Bieksa misses a left as Maroon misses a right and they lock up in tight. Bieksa throws two rights and lands one as they wrestle around and Maroon gets Bieksa's head down. Bieksa misses a right and Maroon misses a right before Bieksa raises his head, losing his helmet in doing so. Bieksa misses five rights as Maroon leans away and then wraps an arm around Bieksa's head. Maroon throws six rights in a row but only lands one as they wrestle to the boards. Bieksa lands two rights but Maroon then throws three rights, landing two as Bieksa tries to duck away and misses a right. Maroon misses two rights while keeping Bieksa in tight and Bieksa misses a right before getting off the boards. They then stop and the linesmen move in to break it up. Long fight with both guys landing some punches. I'll give Maroon the edge here. Bieksa was upset at how Maroon didn't drop the gloves right at the puck drop and was pretty sloppy in this fight. Maroon landed some punches early as Bieksa didn't even have a hold. Once Bieksa did and got set, it was mostly wrestling with both guys mostly missing punches. They each landed a few but neither landed well and Maroon was clearly in control of the fight, preventing Bieksa from opening up.

Not that great a fight here between these two, but giving it a 5 only because of its length. After a long square-off they grabbed on and started playing Ring Around the Rosey. After they stopped spinning, they grabbed onto each other and started wrestling. Each player threw some insignificant punches before tiring out. Can't see giving either man the edge in this one - draw.

Not a bad fight. I'd give the edge to Maroon for the good start where he got Bieksa in a bad spot and threw about 6 rights. Once they tie up Bieksa holds his own, but enough for a draw.

wotton01, a lot of your reviews were deleted for not describing the fight which is standard practice here. I get the impression that English isn't your first language, feel free to leave your reviews blank if you'd like or use your first language but reviews like 'good fight' or 'clear win' are deleted routinely.

Hope you understand.

The faceoff got won in his direction, and his first responsibility is to get the puck. He then squared off cleanly with the biggest spot picker in the NHL. Bieksa never had the guys to fight any of the tough guys on Boston when they played in the cup finals. None of those players stood up for themselves, and they really did deserve to lose. It was a shame because they were teh more talented team on paper. They just had no courage.Reply

They had clearly deciced to go when the puck drops but Maroon changed his mind, pussy move. Bieksa the biggest spot picker, yeah :) He only fights with little guys who usually don't fight at all :)Reply

Again, while they agreed to fight before the puck dropped, the puck came towards Maroon, and his responsibility is to the puck first. He then squared off cleanly. It's comical when people call professional hockey players who just dropped the goves and had a fight a "pussy." When was your last fight? 3rd grade?Reply

After the hit, Manson comes flying from the blueline and starts chasing Maroon and gives him a couple slashes, Maroon wasn't intrested to dropt them. Fun
