Nov 11, 2006 15:29 ET | I'm just looking at old brawls, thought I'd update this one.
A few minutes into the game, the Whalers send out Ramsay to play on the top line against Spezza/Ott/etc. Ott comes over the blue-line in the Whalers' end, falls, and slides into the Whalers' bench boards. Newman gives him a shot, everyone comes in. While this is happening, behind the play, Ramsay grabs Spezza from the side in a headlock. Ramsay drops the mitts, Spezza has his almost fall off - doesn't want much to do with it. Ramsay lands a left and Spezza has a look of pain in his face. Ramsay takes him down in a turtle position. While this is happening, Helbling and Jarrett, I believe, are wrestling behind Ramsay/Spezza. They drop the mitts and Helbing has the better of Jarrett on the ice. Not a great tilt, but a few small punches while Jarrett is on the ground. Ramsay sees this, flies over, Jarrett gets Helbling onto the ice, and Jarrett/Ramsay start throwing bombs on Helbling. Out of nowhere, Gleason flies in, throws a couple rights square to Ramsays face. That brings in a Whaler (Newman or Jarrett, maybe?), who's quickly followed by Spezza. We've got a pile at center ice and it's quickly broken up. | Fun

| Jarrett and Ramsay was double teaming on Helbling. Gleason came flying in and started punching on Ramsay. Weiss for Plymouth jumped on top of Gleason after that. Spezza in his turn jumped on top of Weiss. |
